Sunfyre, the best dragon in dance, takes down 3 dragons, survives almost getting a wing torn off, kills a ton of knights that try to kill him, killed a wild healthy and older dragon while still injured, flew to dragonstone to find Aegon, and holds it together long enough to eat Rhaenyra as a tasty snack, turning the realms delight into supper.
He's easily the most impressive dragon for his size and age, and fact he had not been to a single war or battle before.
Like not even the bigger Seasmoke for example managed to survive a dragonfight, but this dragon survived against Meleys even after severe injuries and a huge fall, killed a bigger wild dragon and ate it, and then killed the last rideable dragon left on the blacks side while extremely crippled and barely able to fly or see.
Yea i was always impressed with how much damage Sunfyre sustains yet still kept pushing till the very end.

Vermithors eyes are hard to see
The dragon at the end has totally different horns then what vermithor had in season 1. Vermithors horns in season 1 were very weird, almost like a fungus. This dragon at the end has actual horns, so im thinking it's a different dragon. Maybe silverwing.
Its def Vermithor, they may have tweaked the design a bit but it's definitely the bronze fury. Its way too big to be any other Dragon & its the wrong color for Silverwing
It’s vermithor. It’s in the exact same spot than he was in season 1, beneath the dragonmount. Plus it’s way too big to be Silverwing and not the right color scheme.
Daemon says in the season one finale that both vermithor and silverwing dwell in the dragonmount so it's not impossible for silverwing to be in the same spot as vermithor.. also you can't 100 percent tell colors in certain scenes.. look at dreamfyre in season one when aemond went to the dragon pit.. she looked like a black dragon...
@K3GG1 no nothings 100%, but I'm 99% sure that is Vermithor & not Silverwing. The size alone is unmistakable
It very well could be. It just doesn't make sense to me why they would change the design from season one.. if they were going to change the design, why show us vermithor at all in season 1. When I look at the scene from season one and look at the end of this trailer, it clearly looks like two different dragons 🤷🏻♂️

Yea he was looking a little more brown/orange than golden.
Man, i wish more dragon have this extra membrane things like Sunfyre and Syrax....i looked way better and logical....
Yea i liked that too. That & the extra smaller pair of wings on Caraxes' hind legs. Its meant to stabilize him while in flight due to his abnormally long neck. I just really appreciate the thought that went into the Dragons designs.
I thought sunfyre would look better supposedly the most beautiful dragon ever. meleys is the best looking dragon
Every scene we see of him he isn't in the sunlight. Remember he changes color and sparkles like gold in the sun. Im hoping we get a big surprise of how amazing he is when the season drops.

Yea im not a fan of spectacle for spectacles sake. Action is great & all but it should serve the narrative
You didn’t even discuss Moondancer, when she was the most eye catching thing in trailer .
Maybe for you, I didn’t find moondancer a big standout compared to everything else.
Out of everything we got in the trailer, Moondancer just wasn't all that eye catching I thought. Alot of the Moondancer scenes were just different shots of scenes we've already seen in previous trailers.
I cannot even remember how moondancer looks like. I remember Vermithor and Sunfyre tho,great designs
I felt that Coronation scene is better with Meyles instead of sunfyre... Mass feels better than cuteness.... This is not a feel good series or romantic series.
It is a fantasy thriller series... That Meyles entry gave goosebumps ❤
I thought that scene was horrible in every way. Not only does it show an amateur style of writing favoring cheap spectacle over characterization, but it all but ruins Rhaenys character as well. None of it made sense from a narrative standpoint. The writers even admit they shoved that in there just to have a "holy crap" moment, it didn't serve the narrative in any way & did far more damage than good overall. Its not about cuteness, it's about good writing & making decisions that serve the story & characters. That scene did neither.

@@jithinraj1830yea there’s nothing wrong with liking it. In isolation it’s not bad, but it’s widely criticized as being the worst scene in season 1. It’s extremely out of character for who Rhaeneys is and didn’t serve the story much. I like good action as much as the next but not at the expense of good storytelling.
