Nice video, the trails over there look amazing and fun! I'm 58 and decided to start mountain biking myself, bought myself a YT Capra core 2 recently. Any advice for an older rookie just starting out?

What is the weight limit for that frame ?

@2wheelkyle what are your thoughts on the MX Capra, 7 months later? how's the small bump sensitivity on the rear wheel?
I no longer have that bike, I’m considering getting another one tho with different suspension. I couldn’t find a good setting with the fox suspension I liked
What do you think of the mullet and would you recommend it vs a full 29er?
I found the mullet felt more planted, I prefer the full 29er but that’s just a personal preference. To me the full 29er rolls a lot better over the rough stuff

how is the dropper post? many people said it doesnt work for a long time
No issues yet, but I haven’t had the bike that long
Nice bike and trails! If I could offer a tip for GoPro, for MTB it’s better to film at 24 or 30 FPS, it makes it look more natural and life-like for biking

hey, you only switched the brake levers? or the calipers also? what about the fox vs rockshox suspension combo? I mean this yellow one vs the red one you've got..

Yes I switched the whole lever assembly. Rockshox is much better in my opinion, very easy to set up compared to the fox. I couldn’t find a setting I was happy with with the fox stuff. Also Rockshox seems to be a lot quieter

just don't know what to do, I got a pretty good price for the mx lava red one, exactly like the one you've had
it seems that rockshox are not to be found anymore and the core 3 on their website is expensive and doesnt even come with the elite versions for the suspension anymore, so that's a bit crap
also looking for a propain tyee 6 but that's about 1k euros more
@@ovidiumihoc yeah unfortunately the new one has a worse build kit. I’m selling my large 29er in the red if your interested haha

Are you happy with the sram drivetrain? Does it shift as advertised. And the brakes if there the stock ones how do they preform? 😊
The drivetrain is great. The stock brakes are not good tho, I would switch those out

I would love to try the Nukeproof but for me the price was right with the Capra
