    Thank you so much for this terrific video Jordan.
    I do a lot of graphics/digital illustration work, and was very close to buying the PD322OU but this model is significantly more attractive on cost and does plenty enough for my needs it seems.
    It arrives tomorrow!

    Great review!! I’ve seen a bunch of monitor reviews lately and almost narrowed down my search to this 32” benq pd3205u. Looks like it will be really helpful for me as I’m a photography enthusiast. But still can’t decide on how much better this will be for my 9-5 job as I am already using a 27” Dell P2720.

    Hi there, thanks so much for the review. So is the only difference between PD3205U and the PD2705U the size? I am looking for an affordable monitor - mainly doing photo and video stuff. This still seems to be a good choice in 2024 to me.. not really sure about the size tho. I currently have a 27" (BenQ EW277HDR), I think it's time for an upgrade. Thanks for the vid! Great stuff.

    @JordanPulmano how would you rate this for bit depth? I have been going back and forth on a true 10 bit monitor or an 8 bit+frc, which this monitor seems to be. I also have found that the Viewsonic 3256 is a solid monitor that matches this BenQ pretty perfectly as an ips 8bit+frc monitor, my other concern is the brightness

    Hi Jordan, thank you for the video, that's a great review! Reading reviews etc I saw a couple of issues that people reported - mostly on Macs. So I though to ask you:
    Have you had any flickering and consistency issues through the USB-C connection? Also, does it work properly as a hub?
    I really have my eyes on this monitor for some time now - it's gonna run on a M1 Mac Mini. Thank you in advance! :)

    Next Question .... My PS3205U came last night... my 12 hour first impression is.. its WAY to dim for my liking. It's decent with HDR turned on, but for professional photo editing, I shouldn't be editing with HDR, right? This one might be getting returned. I love the 4k and 32" size though (coming from a 34" LG UW)

    I am looking to buy a monitor and it's driving me crazy at i thought that the pd3205u was the best option, i know that you had it. It's a 32 inch that to me is going to be best for a single monitor and worked good with a mac but now i noticed that you switched to this lg. Can you compare the two models based on your experience. Please that would really help me decide because monitors are confusing af.... thanks dude

    • @JordanPulmano
      @JordanPulmano  Před 4 měsíci

      Both the LG and the Benq are amazing monitors. They both work with Mac about the same.
      What I like about BenQ is the hardware calibration. What I like about my newest LG ultra fine is the brightness and that it has P3 which I’ve been using more of lately.
      Benq has P3 options as well but I went with lG because it was on sale and I liked the features it had.
      Look at what you use your setup for most and get the monitor you feel will be best for that!
