    I'm currently doing this on my 03 focus. On the sway bar. Is it Okay to have tension. To get it lined up. And is the tension okay to keep through driving.

    Your videos are great but I have a little advise regarding the size of the tool as the sway bars come with different nut size, a good advise is to check after purchasing the spare sway bar, the size of the nuts, in my case the sway bars come with 17 millimeter nuts both sides while in your case is 18 rear and 15 front

    Are you not supposed to grease the sway bar end links if they come with grease fittings?

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  Pƙed 5 lety +5

      +XboxPlayer12402 You are not suppose to grease the ones shown in the video, because they are already prepacked with grease and are sealed units! 1aauto.com

      +Juan Hinojosa We currently do not have an auto repair video that covers this particular repair. We will keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future. 1aauto.com

      It's been two years and they're still pretending the bar-to-body bushings weren't already shot when they did the end links.

      +CookiesCookiez The parts should be very similar to each other in terms of installation.

    It looks like the old one has a grease fitting on the back, but I don't see any on the new one. Do you need to add a grease fitting to it?

      +cwilli1024 Thanks for checking us out. The greased parts we sell are pre-greased and sealed at the factory, and will not include zerk fittings unless specifically stated in the listing. 1aauto.com

    something wrong if you have to hammer a wheel to get it off

    • @jq87
      @jq87 Pƙed 4 lety +3

      Aluminum rims wil fuse to the steel of the hub. It happens but if the wheels are rotated frequently enough then it should come off with ease. But like he said at the beginning the lugs were tighter than they should be so someone probably put on with an air gun and they weren't rotated frequently.

      I use antiseize where the hub meets the rim. If you don't it will seize where I live. Bad winters and lots of salt
