I had to see Teddy Baldassarre’s new watch store in Cleveland, Ohio, with my own eyes. We had a little competition of picking 5 watches each. I know I clearly won, but I have to admit, all the watches were simply beautiful. Comment your favorite watch below and let me know who you think won. I think Teddy won the Breitling pick, Kevin won the Grand Seiko pick, Teddy won the GO pick, Kevin won the Omega pick, and Kevin won the bric-a-brac pick, imo
First Breitling choice for me would have been the sought after green pistachio dial. An incredible dial and unique looking.

I love the finishing touch of Kevin purchasing a watch to show his support. He doesn’t need that watch let’s be honest, but that shows how he supports young entrepreneurs like Teddy who’s genuinely enthusiastic about watches. Respect!

Teddy your last and final pick took the win for me. I actually own this specific Seiko 5 GMT oo5 and price doesn’t do its justice. It’s not an expensive watch but it’s class and it fits like a glove for any wrist size. I own a Rolex and a Tudor but it just doesn’t show its specialty in size and comfort that other brands don’t carry. I bought this watch because of the hype and proud I own this watch. I wear it everyday.

I feel both had great picks and really solid diversity. Teddy's picks were spectacular, especially the Grand Seiko, but he lost me a bit on the 2 green dials... I think having a clean white one would have worked better in his favour. Kevin's picks were very classic looking this time around and had some very diverse picks. It was a hard one for me and normally I'd side with Teddy, but I have to give it to Kevin on this one. Congrats again Teddy on your store and I hope to one day get a chance to visit it!
I agree with you. I love the Brietling ocean pick, but you cant go with another green. A white dial may have pushed him to the top.
@@jayallen8660 that’s exactly it! I know Keven had 2 black dials, but they are different enough. But colourful dials can overwhelm the collection look if they are too strong.
Great stuff as always when these two get on screen together! Feel good episode with the whole thing taking place in Teddy's new shop. Awesome job showing him support. Going with Kev on this one, although I'd maybe take the green dial GO and find room for a Superocean dive watch to round out a perfect 6 watch collection.

Kevin was right about the variety. Each watch was a great choice. Watch for watch (pound for pound, his collection was better. I prefer the Omega and GS Teddy chose, but the Breitling and Seiko bring it down for me.
That said, great display for your boutique Teddy! You have quite the selection.

I like both collections chosen, but Teddy edged Kevin out with the ceramic Omega. That watch is flawless, not to mention the red dial Grand Seiko GMT.

It was very close. Kevin had a great pick with the GO, but Teddy squeaked out the win with his Omega pick. Gorgeous!! Wish I could make the Grand Seiko event at the end of June. Hopefully down the line I can attend one of these events. Take care!
Meh, I think Kevin's Omega pick was a little obvious.
He definitely won the Omega pick but honestly I still think Kevin won. And I’m definitely biased against Kevin but I’d much rather have his collection. (Very close overall though but Kevin definitely dropped the ball with the Moon).
Gotta go with Kevin on this one. He wins the Omega, Brietling, and Glashutte choices outright and has a better balance overall of classic/iconic and modern/reinterpretation. His choice for Glashutte model makes me feel some kinda way too. That watch is a stunner 🔥🔥🔥 imo.

I honestly might finally give the win to Teddy! I just really like the Glasshute and Omega picks.
My 2 favorites were Kevin's classic moonwatch and the grand seiko hi beat. The red dial is to die for.
I’ve watched all of these challenges and this is the first one Kevin has won in a landslide. Neither collection would be to my taste but Kevin’s Breitling and Glasshütte picks alone are better than all 5 of Teddy’s picks put together.

Loved this, I really wanted someone to choose a New Longine Zulu time or flyback chrono to finish with.
Kevin won that last watch was killer because it shows that it’s not all high end watches. The Breitling is also beautiful.

During the picking process I do think Teddy has a better lineup, but when all watches all laid out Kevin's collection is clean and classic! I'll give it to Kevin this time!

Functionality wise, Teddy’s covers all, Diver, GMT, Chronograph and dress watch but Kevin’s Colleczion win it for me when I ask myself which 5 watches would I rather own. If only Teddy picked the Breitling Datora with Salmon dial.

Junghans has a quite interesting history, located in the Black Forest in Germany. In 1903 it was the largest watch manufacturer in the world. They were the official timekeeper for the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics. They developed the first commercial radio-controlled watches. I always was fascinated by the Mega Solar watch.
I normally find Junghans too plain Jane for me but that style with the black face is a perfect tux watch. Good pick, Kevin!

Teddy nailed it with the GS SBGJ273...even video does not do this dial justice! I'm torn between the two Glashutte Original; both are stunning. Can we call it a tie this time?
I'm sorry Teddy but wow! Kevin was not wrong. He absolutely cleans up. I knew he was onto something from the first pick but wow all 5 of his together look stunning. I like Teddy's picks too, but Kevin's choices complement each other well.
As a Teddy fan it pains me to say O'Leary takes this. Kevin has a good eye for minimalistic dials which I am partial to and find are sorely lacking amongst Teddy's selections. Things were looking so good too with that Superocean first pick but alas.
