Imagine telling your boss you totaled a 100 grand truck for jeering kids filming haha
Worth
"Hey boss, it's me, damn truck broke down, wasn't my fault"
From what i can see its worth usually more
It doesn't destroy the engine.
@@RBFR01 what does it destroy then apart from the drivers soul???
If the engine on that Scania sludge gulper was stuffed, MASSIVE repair bill !!
I wouldn't like to make that phone call to the boss..
Well.. it did.. i know those new generation scanias.. the intake is on the right side of the cabine behind the grill
@@gewoontimm oh God
Омг, scare to imagine
@@gewoontimm why place it so low......
You’d think professional truck drivers would be smarter
NOW they are. 🤯😖😁
No..not really.
They don't own the lorry.. So fcuk it full send.. I'm the same in my work van😂😂
Yeah...but it's also not their vehicle. So they probably don't care.
These fools are not professional.
A unimog is a great catch for the channel, the water would have to be extremely deep to kill one of those.
Yeah, Pretty much 3 meters or even more :D
My bad used to have a unimog cherry picker, it was an orange beast, ngl tho that unimog looked like a gun bus, nvm id closer inspection that beast looks like a converted camper and another one however the one pulling a trailer is newer one
WOULD IT EVER.... also the driver drove through at a "propper" speed.
@@danielmarshall4587 wdym would it ever
@@tanks4lyfe509 ...... sort of "yes indeed".

😂👍
Stirring a spoon in a box of bricks 😂
That iveco driver was so close to causing an accident, twice!
the black car shouldnt of been parking there so caused obstruction
Rain rain and more rain in the forecast this week which means more fun at rufford!
Yippeeeeee 👍🏼👍🏼
Let the haters hate 🖕🏻🖕🏻😂
Ironic that Euro tech (2nd wagon) are water treatment specialists.
I can just imagine their phone call to management 😂
They were foolish, the Scania's intake should have been high enough if they went in slowly but instead they made a huge wave and the intake sucked a bunch up.
@@itz_lexiii_ Thankfully…. To make the video great 👍🏼 😂
@@Dan23_7 not wrong lol. one of the biggest splashes
surely Rufford Ford has fanatics from all around the world, like me! greetings from Chile
Wow, the early ones were less of a Ford and more a River Crossing!
Показали бы как камаз мастер проходит такую приграду
Someone has blocked the stream lower down, I'm sure of it. There is constantly more water in that ford than there ever was. Even after days and says without rain there is still 12 inches of water in it. This hasn't been the case for 20+ years. I wouldn't be surprised if its someone that films there regularly.
Pretty sure that they had to have it dredged at some point, which resulted in people just speeding through and making bigger splashes when they realized they were less likely to kill their car.
@TheSpotify95 it was never that full unless there had been heavy rain. Someone blocked it up so it had more water in, more of the time.
It was weeds down stream collecting debris causing it to back up. Was never block but us. I have a video of the farmer dredging it and pulling it all out.
Some of these drivers need to cut back on their Yorkie bars.
Those Unimog's make a lot of sense in that street!
2:57 what a legend! That’s how you do it, full throttle! Especially when people are filming haha
He was only able to do it cause of how shallow it was.
Add 6 - 10 inches of depth, completely different results.
Ojalá los autobuses puedan pasar por ahí.¡ver una compilación de autobuses pasando el Rufford Ford sería brutal!
Absolutely brilliant, thank you for uploading.
Kind regards
Johnny
Love the night/evening shots, can you do some of them in the autumn?
I did loads last year and I’ll do the same again this year:)
Скажите пожалуйста зачем они это делают? Они специально убивают моторы? Или люди действительно думают что чем быстрее они проедут тем менее печальные будут последствия?
I think a few truckies lost their jobs! Hate to think what a replacement lorry engine would cost!
It's about €10000 to replace an engine.
@@lovetotruck78 10k? That's for a car engine
The white truck splash at the start was crazy!!!
1:47 postman pat aint letting a flooded river stop him from delivering mail
I can see now why Australia has those lifted air cleaners on their Kenworth Prime movers. Water does indeed get everywhere even with low tides.
Wow, new to the ford thing but never saw the water so high as in the beginning of the video. Nice!
wow that water is looking even deeper than usual :-)
well I guess that was just the start of the video, at the end it was much lower
Why there is no bridge?
@@ligametis I've often wondered the same thing.
@@kirknelson156 it's not needed here. There is a main road you can take if you want to use a bridge. Lots of people use this route as a shortcut however...
Yes finally been waiting for this for ages!!!
Hahahaha that’s soooo cool, can watch this all day long 😂😂👍👍…
Wow Tom great footage lovely trucks
Some drivers acting more professionally than others!
I owned a house in Tuxford and loved coming to Newark to try and drown my Isuzu every time there had been a heavy down fall of rain. My 2.8 turbo diesel never go hydrolocked, however hard I tried - pure luck I think. I used a 1992 Peugeot 2L Diesel van though, only once and bent not only two conrods but the crankshaft as well. $2000 later (a lot in 1992), I wasn't happy. It was only 18 months old and was still under warranty but they refused to cover it due to my obvious mis-use of the vehicle - fair enough I suppose 😀
Tom that was an amazing video 😊 it brings back memories
Have you ever wondered that this remind ourself as a kids often watching vehicle passingby tireless especially when flooding around neighborhood
Love it always brings me a smile 😃
Cool thanks it's more fun when it's flooded out keep it up
As soon as I saw the Scania I knew it was doomed. Scania are the only truck manufacturers who put the air intake behind the drivers side headlight\bumper, everyone else sensibly puts it up the back of the can about 12 feet up.
Awesome video as always
Cool that was fun more rain means more action keep it up
I need to get me one of those big rigs
Free underbody cleaning.
With massive repair bills !!!
Did that May Park truck 4:44 have electrical assist motors on the trailer? As it sounded like the motor noise they have on some of the modern electric trains.
Another good video 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Как дети. Большая лужа это праздник. Здесь радуются проезжающим машинам, где-то на велосипедах взад-вперед. А где-то в резиновых сапогах ... 😁
0:30 - great stuff 😆👍
Buen compilado de camiones 🚛🚚
Standing on that bridge by the side of the ford looks so tempting
1 car TRIED to sneak in there, but you caught it !
Who doesn't love a unimog.What a truck.
Ripley in Aliens: "Did IQs just drop sharply while I was away?" Indeed, one has to be extremely dumb to drive like this.
That truck driver is mental
With so little rain this summer I wouldn’t mind betting this ford became little more than a trickle. Does it ever dry up completely?
I mean theres a bloddy stream goin thru it, so I dont think so
Something different and almost interesting for capture. Of course Unimog gets better in flooding such as another truck. Nice landscape around this spot.
Oh no ..... poor Scania ☹️
The biggest mistake of almost driver I saw here is the speed, they go very fast and they hit with the front of cabin the water, so they damage the engine.
Гидро удар. Водители которые не разбираются в технике
Who cares it’s great fun
@@ABB-bw6tc Their bosses 🤣
The engine is fine, they're located just behind the cab in the chassis. The air intake is higher up as well, on my MAN TGX, it's like 7ft up. The problem is that there's electrics and other things lower down that you can break.
For example, there's a small pipe on the drivers side by the exhaust box. Damage that, the engine will stop running.
As long as you aren't silly, there's no reason a truck (or a bus as they're rear engine) ought to have problems.
Do they charge to toll the vehicles out ?
Ai é prova de resistência , adoro caminhão.
5:32 Where is this? I wanna try my car there, seems like an easier version of Rufford 😅
Hey,Very nice!👍
My new favourite channel
It’s crazy that some truck are so weak and others strong 🤯
Very cool! 😎👍🏾😆
Unimog with a snorkel as high as 3 meters...
With the amount of technology in modern lorries , I wouldn’t even consider going through that ford .with the amount of electronics on those vehicles , after a good soaking will give no end of future problems , even the brake callipers have circuit boards in them
Trucks are designed for all terrains and conditions. The engineers designing will have thought about making them water proof.
Liked and subscribed !
Wow nice one
😂 for God sake, swear the first driver was one of my mates, he got a right ear bashing for doing that one
Счета владельцу дороги после этого дня будут колоссальные. Водителей таких надо тоже увольнять- не знать где двигатель забирает воздух нельзя!
Там же знаки стоят

Reverse approach might work
100%!
Yeah, good luck turning an Artic round twice just to go through the Ford.
@@petittrainguernsey3297 here is the thing right, I've found this Ford on Google Maps, there's other routes why do people just risk it and wreck their cars? Laziness? It's faster? Cause there's no way these people are locals that go through and flood their cars... I just find it baffling..
@@jessicad83 2 possiblities,
1, main road closed
2, delivery location on that road ie farm, construction site
Now the drivers are laughing at the cameras 🤣
0:03 ,there goes the number plate 😁
Vaya profesionales...
What happened to that scania afterwards?
4:53: This truck with the license plate above it reminds me of the American format.
0:01 lol red truck license plate went flying
Lmao, the white Iveco one was brutal
the bin man haha lol
Keep on truckin
Looks like IVECO’s are pretty popular lorries for the ford 😂
No suprises here with that Scamia.
The only good thing about Scanny... Is getting rid of it.
I now have a 2 y.o. MAN TGS Lorry... Trouble Free... wheras the Scammy it was just trouble to say it nicely.
Great vid!
I'm surprised they didn't cave in their windscreens at the speed some of them went through
Most of the water isn't hitting the windscreen? Besides, the glass windscreen is the strongest part on the front of that vehicle. The plastic grille would probably be first to break.
I don't think the Bosses would approve of them driving through there. Let's hope they don't want CZcams 🤣
Why did the bin lorry seem to breakdown when the water wasn’t very high compared to others going through much deeper water?
It depends on the airtake. Most of the lorries have an airtake over the roof of the cabin, but some of them not. This makes the difference.
Где это место?
With an high air take I dont see any problem crossing this road with a truck. I Just dont understand why they dont slow down. Might be most of them are just following Google Maps and dont expect the water to be so high
Nice vid. Nice splashes. Thx
Name of the street?
was that an army Unimog?
very nice video
Hydro locking the engine cost so much. Easy fix but costs a lot.
They do realise that they are liable to points & a huge fine for deliberately soaking people don’t they ?😈😈😈😈😈😈
I guess soaking isnt the problem, the people on the bridge are geared up, waitung for a vehicle to pass trough.
There will no one complain about getting soak, even if you could reasonable argue, that they wanted to get soaked.
Clearly the lorry drivers had a splashing time
Не понятно зачем с разгона , там вода потколено, все машины спокойно бы проехали.
Why are we watching this..
Keeps watching.
Cipratan air kedepan dan menutupi pandangan pengemudi sangat berbahaya.
Seharusnya dilengkapi penahan cipratan air didepan roda.
Smart ideia is to open a repair shop close to that bridge
What's the reason for a road and river to cross in such a way?
I thought there was a weight limit on the Rufford Splash road .
Do more lorries vs ford videos! 👍🇬🇧
Will do once I have enough fresh footage :)
