Well done !…love the cat looking on 👀….I’ve got one who does the same 🤷♂️…as soon as I start painting etc…he sits on my lap !…… that’s a great figure at a good price
Hi from Ukraine. Thank you QDC. Your support and support from people from all around the globe means hell of a lot to us here. You guys and girls are just amazing with your informational, financial and millitary help. Love to y'all from Ukraine. 💙💛 P.S. As always great job, keep it up)
Great figure. The kits coming out of Eastern Europe are so good these days. I'm glad you kept the colours of the tunic dull, just as ancient cloth would probably have looked. The chrome on the helmet and sword looks excellent. Some rough groundwork would perhaps be an idea. You're right about the Vikings making their mark, particularly here in Britain where there's probably a lot of Viking DNA floating around. You're right, it's a shame they don't include a shield decal, but you could attempt an appropriate "Norse type" design just by hand as they probably wouldn't have been very precise in reality.
Hi QDC, long time lurker of numerous years here but first time posting. Have you ever thought of doing a tutorial style video for beginners? Such as a rundown of your tools, materials, how to clip/sand/fill, etc?
I have just now found an old Model Kit that I started from when I was young. I then thought, why not finish it. So I started and then realized that 2 whole Propellors were missing and couldn't find them anywhere lol.... Now I thought I would do a small request to you to build a S.79 Sparviero. Id love to see what it looks like when someone with more experience builds a kit like this :)
Hey Colin! Great job done on the Viking! I really like his face and his helmet. I think that in figures like this one there are no decals included, so if you wanted that look on the shield, free hand painting is the only option. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
That's a Beautiful Viking figure Thank you! also your contribution for Ukrain too :) That's inspire me to looking some figure to build. I would like to try painting figure faces again it's a quite challenge to me
Hi Collin, you could try Clear Prop next time. Its an Ukrainian brand that makes very excellent kits with beautiful details. They have different levels of difficulty, I currently have the 1/72 A5M2B Claude in Expert level. That means it comes with PE and even Resin parts! These kits are also available in Starter and Advanced. They have many interesting subjects. Take a look! Mega Hobby sells them in the US. Enjoyed your figure build too, good job!
A great entry for the Nordic Group Build and also as your support for Ukraine.. :) Great looking figure, I may have to get an ICM figure of some sort for myself, if I can find one that appeals to me.. Maybe a Viking.. ;)
Hello QDC I have been following you for more than 10 years on CZcams. Is it possible to make a video where you present all your collection? Hi from France !

Dull colours, yes they were herbal dyes, dull is historially correct! - A Viking, lol. 😉🍻🇩🇰✌️

Yes, it's too bad that it didn't include a decal. I'm not too good at hand painting a bird.
@@qdc748a There are other shapes for Viking shields if you want to spice it up. Much easier stuff.
Looks very good Collin.. :)

You're welcome. Painting figures are challenging to me as well. It takes a lot of practice.
Great job as always. Have a nice day.
