Okay then, that's a good idea.
I actually like that sentence. It says: "They did not send a team in until they knew what precautions to take to prevent unnecessary deaths." There are times where they take pretty decent precautions and only act callously when someone's death is 100%. If you are GOING TO DIE you might as well use every second of your life getting data that could be helpful.

I read the full story on the site. It comprises the main article on SCP-610 as well as six supplementary files detailing further efforts to research and categorize the infection. As the story progresses, it becomes increasingly disturbing and frightfully plausible. SCP-610 is among the most horrifying of all the monstrosities from The Foundation.

Blue 2003 Toyota Echo In all fairness, the SCP foundation decided to terminate it anyway as they sent an assault team armed with flame throwers down there. At this point they really should just firebomb the area as they have enough samples collected to work with for "containment".
My sister and her family have this tradition where every night for dinner, someone gets to choose a video, movie, TV show or music to play during dinner on the main TV. Well, being a guest I got to choose the video. Looked in my feed and seen this, smirked, looked at my sister and she just stared and said

SCP-610 is probably one of the scariest SCPs contained within the SCP Foundation's grips. However, it is only contained by a thread; and if one of those 610 entities were to sneak past the guards and cameras, it would end all of life as we know it. My question is: If SCP-610 can be underground for long distances, how in the world can the SCP Foundation be sure that they are containing it? Also, what if it exists unknown in another country, say Scotland. Would that mean that The Flesh That Hates would be ending the world right here and now and the SCP Foundation have no idea about its existence elsewhere? Not only that, but those who are infected with 610 are still alive; so in other words, would it really be the end of the world, or would it just be the birth of a new species? Only time will tell...

Yes, tropes are a thing, but this is basically like saying ‘ugh, do you SERIOUSLY this is the first time a knight has slain a dragon?’ Also, movies get remakes, so there’s clearly a continuing demand for similar stories.

Small arms as in handheld guns, including snipers and machine guns. It basically just means infantry can deal with it without the need of vehicles, vehicular/mounted weaponry, or explosives. It's a misconception that small-arms means things like handguns

What I really find creepy is the engorged human head rising from the ground, just imagine a featureless 4m (20 times 20cm, the approximate size of a human head) wide head rising from the ground. And I haven't seen anyone discussing it.

I would really wish to see films in the future like this SCP or any others that are based off from the SCP Foundation series, similar to the X-Files & such. Would really make a great show despite how the popularity of the SCP Foundation has been growing.

I have high hopes for it, and would love to see the characters come to life, do a series on the task forces, sentient humanoid SCP’s the scientists, fuck cleff alone needs a little something.
I'd love it. It would be on Syfy I bet. Each season would each cover different SCPs, each finale with it's own dangerous or really interesting one. This SCP could be a season finale of a survival like setting.
Bung The Booce dude imagine the games this could have, virtual reality of being the Moble Task Force Tau 5 trying to rescue people from site 13, doing missions fighting the flesh that hates, going on containment missions with Lombardi. So much potential and If there are any game creators here, I have 50 bucks to make this a thing.
@@joshlay447 I'd pay good money for a game like this. But I bet it would be incredibly overhyped and I fear it would end up like Agony, tarnishing the name of the SCPs.
I mean there are endless possibilities here, but if someone was to make a game of it I bet it wouldn't really work in a stand alone thing. There's too many SCPs, if you focus on one you're neglecting too many, if you focus on nearly all you just get that indie game that exists now. However this one definetly deserves something atleast. I mean ffs look at Resident Evil, Dead Space, Halo, REC, anything really has made a concept like this.
