Buenos dias,francisco,felicidades por tus videoas,son muy buenis....oye mi camión freigthliner cascadia ditroit serie 60 le sale mucho humo negro cuando aplico el freno de motor y en ocaciones hasta azul un poco,esto cuando aplica la fuerza y cuando paro el escape esta bien chorreando de humo en hoyin como si se condenara el humo..ya quemamos el filtro ,ya calibrados las válvulas ya le puse el filtro de aire ...¿que será o que hago para corregirlo?...gracias

Hola Fransisco tengo el Mismo problema con mi serie 60 exactamente lo ke dise Adolfo Rodriguez ya le cambie todos Los Injectores limpie el filtro la egr boost sensor.... y sigue igual me dijieron ke podia ser el turbo actuator pork aveses voy subiendo una subida bien cargado y komo ke se corta el boost del turbo como si estubiera estornudando... si me pudieras kontestar grasias por adelantado
Francisco,ya corregí el problema....era el filtro de aire..¡¡¡tenia un año que no se lo había cambiado!!!...le calibraron las válvulas los inyectores el egr ,apreté y reaprete las juntas (mangueras azule) que salen del turbo limpiamos (ornear) el filtro de emisiones, y al final cambie el filtro de aire y ya estuvo,salió carito el descuido pero ni modo....¡¡¡ánimo Francisco !!!

Undo the steering arm gives you more space. Replacing my fuel pump. Can I flush out the fuel rail with out removing the injectors? I have metal shavings in my fuel filters. Thank you.

how many hours does it take to replace the fuel pump? my mechanic said 10hrs I thought its a bit too much..
Depending the cab, could easily be 10 hrs.

I got a 2014 cascadia the other day I got a ⛽ light on my dash n went off after I shut my engine off n restart it. Never seen that light before.is that something to do with the def filter?

How do you tighten the nut without the gear spinning on the fuel pump? I see there is a tool to keep the gear in place, but how else can this be done?
You hold it with a press and a rag around the gear

What socket size is required for the gear nut? I know a special socket is sold, but would a regular socket also work?

Thank you. I was told 36 mm socket in the past and it worked. I just had to be careful so the socket wouldn’t slip.
For anyone reading this, you want a short socket (not deep) for stability.
Saludos cordiales Francisco hay un amigo que vive allá en norte América que tiene un camión dump con motor paccar tiene problemas con el egr y no le acelera la pantalla le abusa me gustaría darle tu numero de celular para dárselo su camión peterblir
If u think u need a fuel quantity control valve, consider replacing the pump. $700 extra and u get a reman pump with a new valve. If u hear squeaking, it's probably the whole pump not only quantity control valve.
If a fuel line won't unscrew from front plate of pump just remove plate and spin plate to get line off.
