    This is the same thing that actually happens in the golf swing. But most amateurs start pulling the club from the top down right away (an arms swing). The correct move is to let the club handle, hands, and arms drop down into the slot first from the top. Then, unwind the hips and drive off the right foot and let the club whip down through the impact zone! Doing this added 15 yards to my drive and also straightened out my shots.

    • @svk_5104
      @svk_5104 Před 11 měsíci

      Shorter and lighter could mean you find the barrel a bit more but it will lead to a decrease in how hard those barreled balls are actually hit if that makes sense. It’s all about the player, a bat that’s too heavy or too light is gonna have negative effects on how hard you hit balls and how much contact you make. Tony Gwynn used shorter and lighter bats his hole career because he had better barrel control and was more concerned with hitting for average instead of power

That one is harder to explain so try to look up some videos on that. If you already do that and it isn’t working, I would say study the pitcher your facing before the game, and try to pick up on where his arm slot is for each pitch.

    • @ShiroiKiba
      @ShiroiKiba Před rokem +1

      Don't stride, don't swing hard. The starting point for proper pitch identification is a stable sightline; which means keeping your head as still as possible.
      A short stride (or simply lifting your front foot and putting it back down as a timing mechanism) are the starting points. If you can manage your center of gravity effectively in your mechanics and make your mechanics as short and direct as possible to the ball, you can wait fractions of a second longer on your swing decisions.

Biggest suggestion that nobody has said that is the BEST thing, is play catch with your buddy and have them mix between curves and fastballs and work on seeing if you can pick up the spin out of their hands. Ince you determine whether its a fastball or curve, you will no longer have that problem.

Guarantee of Barry bonds was Aaron judges hitting coach he did even more and he would strike out less

    Barry bonds with laugh at the fact that judge strikes out 200 times a year. Bonds walked 200 times a year struck out like 50. Their swings are not the same

      No two swings are identical, you try to take parts of their game from the greats.
