In the netherlands whe have been making this for 100s of years its so you can make old Bread eatable again it has a really easy recipe milk 2 eggs and if you want some cinnamon you dip your old bread in there and bake it in a pan with some butter. Easy

In France French toast Is usually made with stale bread so it retains the moisture better.

I didn't dislike the video Myself and I hate to get involved in somebody else's fight at times but relax maybe they can cook have you ever thought about that? Maybe in their judgment the recipe or recipes were over the top or not what they felt was servable in their company so relax when thinking that people can't cook because everybody can cook maybe not the way you like it but they can cook the way maybe somebody else does so relax eat some french toast
