And she could have masked her personality, especially since they were only together for a few months before getting married. She dropped her facade as soon as she felt she could without jeopardizing the benefits she received for being with him. I think he was blinded by grief.
I can agree with that. It's very sad and I'm even more saddened that he's still with her.

It's horrible enough that he has all of his disabilities and needs a caretaker for his own survival, but then to have experienced that horrific tragedy, only to be manipulated by an immoral person, it's only going to only make his recovery worse. It'll take him a while to get over the mental and physical strains his experiences have caused, and the longer he's with her, the worse it'll be. I wish him the best.

Great observation, he's a Marine, that "Low Self Esteem" isn't common in there nature BUT what he did explain in the beginning and the end was the point in his life in which she arrived, she caught him at an emotional place, she knew that as well and took advantage of him
1 - I totally believe the caregiver. If you're a full-time caregiver for someone, you most certainly develop a bond... you can't just mechanically go through the motions in that capacity. But there was no evidence that she "wanted" him.
2 - I would have liked to have heard something about Kimberly's background and upbringing so I could understand how she made it to age 33 not doing *anything* domestically. She comes across as always looking for that sugar daddy, and probably had a few along the ride.
3 - I know some divorced people who are damn near best friends with their former spouse. They simply grew apart from being together *all* the time, but still like each other. There's no rule that says a divorce means 'no further contact ever'.
4 - Willie seems like a decent guy, but fears being alone - and not just for his health concerns. The best type of woman for him is not his caregiver, but one with the same personality and mentality. Someone who will accept the challenges his health presents and is ready to handle that business.
At the end, it said these two are bouncing in and out of a relationship. I hope he gets a clear head and realizes she's nothing more than a good time, and not long-term/wife material.
