This is how I see it: She is using him as a meal-ticket for now, and keeping her options open. She also thinks her rap career is going to take off. Which maybe it will, but I would take the bet on it not. She is more of a partier and he is more of a homebody or introvert, but he has a decent job, especially for a black man(Probation Officer). My guess is eventually she will cheat or he will leave, or both, and then she will regret messing up a good thing. He has been supporting her for the duration of their relationship, and I don't sense any gratefulness in her or appreciation.
