I honestly can’t stand when couples try to stay together for the sake of the children. You should be able to be grown adults and conduct yourselves in a way that your children feel the same amount of love, time and attention regardless if you’re together or not. If you continue to live your separate lives, eventually your children will catch on that mommy and daddy are together but they’re not together. Don’t underestimate how perceptive children are.

I feel like it's important for girls to have boys who are friends at a young age. This teaches them how to have healthy, non sexual relationships with the other sex. It gives a girl a sense of power and control to navigate those relationships and get what they want out of it. Unfortunately, it's easy for girls to be pushovers or people pleasers when they have wrong assumptions about the opposite sex.
So teach your child instead taking away their communication.

I agree with the judge on a lot of things but one thing you never do is invade your kids privacy. I was never allowed to have my door closed as a kid so I used to go into the bathroom to change clothes. Then my dad found out about that and thought I was sneaking my phone in to talk to boys when I was changing. So he unlocked the bathroom from the outside and pushed the door open. He told me to change in my room from now on. It got to the point that he was coming into the bathroom under the guise of helping me wash just cause he was suspicious of me. When my parents divorced, the judge said if he did that again or any form of controlling my privacy and freedom, he’d lose any custody of me that he could have. Yeah there may be a rule in place, but some rules are stupid and impossible to uphold. Instead of teaching abstinence, teach restraint. Telling a kid to never do something only leads them to do it. Teach them they can do something but teach them how to do it safely and when it is appropriate to do said thing. Then they learn not to rebel because the rules aren’t there to cage them, it’s training wheels to help them stay on the right path. Also doors are there for a reason. Whether it’s a girl or a boy, kids have things that are embarrassing to share with parents. Don’t be that kinda parent. You’ll raise a kid who not only won’t follow your rules but also never come to you for anything whatsoever. And when the time comes that you loosen the reins, they won’t talk to you about anything. I say it from my experience and my friends experiences and so many others. It’s not nice.

I'm actually glad they are trying to work things out... I think their issues are fixable if they renew their commitment, learn to communicate, and strive to keep things fresh. I hope it works out for them.
Why do ppl come on this show, complain about how they being treated get awesome advice then at the end the most common comment is we gonna work it out🤔why even come on the damn show it's called divorce court right? Or is something that IAM missing...I love being single because I bring the table to a relationship if you can't bring 4 chairs to it no need to sit at it...y'all be blessed tho
