Some people (e.g my cousin) looked at me crazy when I tell them, get to know the person first. My cousin met a guy, married him in 3 months, fast forward a few weeks into the marriage; we were at a nice restaurant and this guy exploded into a rage because the waiter, according to him, ignored him. Maybe the waiter didn't hear him because the waiter was talking to another customer. He went from this calm, chilled guy to a condescending a-hole to the waiter.

Yes his relationship with his mother and father is key to how he treats people. Momma's boys are scary but men that grew up without their father can have bitterness and resentment towards their mother because they feel she drove him away.
