I bought this game recently, but heard the manual was absolutely horrific. So I decided to watch how it is played online and came here. Solid 5 stars for this video. I now feel like I know everything I need to start playing the game! And knowing is half the battle.

Don't know about anyone else but I am loving the fact that each of their Deck Building games feel different, this tutorial will definitely help me teach this game to friends and family.

Yeah, I’m familiar with Transformers, and I was expecting GI Joe to be pretty much the same game mechanics with different cards, and with this video I just discovered that it’s completely different… which is a good thing in my book since I love to have Deckbuilding games with different game mode, different game mechanics, so when I want to change game, it’s not just for the lore/design/characters, but also for the whole game experience. I never really paid too much attention to the GI Joe anime when I was younger, but somehow, now I want to watch them again and probably add this Deckbuilding game to my wish list…
Oh my gosh, these days people are forgetting that GI Joe existed, so it's amazing to see people still love GI Joe! 💙

@board game coffee with the new hero Storm Shadow and Dreadnok Zartan in the expansions do you remove the core versions when using the expansions?

No, leave them in. Maybe the Cobra Storm Shadow is an imposter, clone, or a robot. Dreadnok Zartan stays in because he's able to influence both the Dreadnoks AND Cobra forces.
Maybe the PLAYER version of Storm Shadow is a clone! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN

In a world where they just wear masks to impersonate the person, this makes sense.

if my threat marker was at the last green space on the threat meter at end of round, do i move up one for green and play one complication for yellow or do i just go up one for green and then go up one for end of round?
It’s actually been a while since I played so I don’t remember. But I’ll ask the designer and paste the answer here.
Can i switch mission after the complication card is flip. Like i didnt start with a leader for the story mission and barroness came out during the complication flip. Can i fight barroness instead?
No. If you start a mission you have to see it through, success or fail.
