Great video. Love to see more than just FOH every once in a while. I have so many nerd questions for Colten. I'm going to have to follow his socials.
This is my new favorite CZcams channel!
Thank you! 🙏
Most people think is just the band behind the whole show .
Anybody else getting the glitchy - freeze frame stuff at 23:16? Can't tell if this is a new form of censoring brand names lol
Interesting. I thought it was a glitch in the export of the video.
Now I'm thinking of an automated sensor as you said.
Loving these videos! Ive watched every single one. Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Great video! It was nice to see what effects are on their in-ear mixes and cool to see a quick overview of Wireless Workbench. George Thorogood is a legend.
Very informative. Love to see more even on the video production side if possible. Thank you
Great Video Nick!!!!!
one of my favorites
Great show
Colton! Worked with him many times on the Thorogood tour! Jeff, the F.O.H. Is killer too!
This is awesome! Just wondering what the stream deck is used for?
I’m not an audio Engineer I just make backing tracks and I used to judge Reaper too! without giving it a chance, now I like it even though my main one is Ableton live!
My brain exploded 8 minutes into this. But love it all!
Good man! Clearly knows his shit. Bring on the monitor world content.
35:48 nice advice
That dude is sharp, perfect job for a gear nut.
COOL. What's the name of the in ears again?
I enjoyed watching this whole video. I want to be a sound engineer. where do I start from?
School!
The unsung heros
Yay band!
wow
My ears REALLY perked up at “Drim Cop”…😂
23:15 video glitch or brand censorship ...😕
LETS GO BLOOOOOOOO
Cool story… 👌🏼
Can you tell me what that talkbox is? The little one sitting on the top right corner of the console? ✌🏼
Galaxy Nanospot for the tech talkback bus. The logo lights up when it receives audio, so it kinda acts like a blazon when we talk to each other, but not as messy as dragging around a comm system.
Thanks that’s very helpful👌🏼 as I only have a big Yamaha speaker. Sounds very good but it’s pretty big…
What is he using the stream deck for that’s in the middle of the DLive?
I'm also curious. It's funny because I know Colten from drum corps!
Probably to start and stop recording on the computer so he doesn't need to use mouse/keyboard etc.
@@romehall This is exactly what I use it for. That, and to start/stop virtual soundcheck, and save and quit my recording session at the end of the night. Switching screens is a hassle sometimes.....
dream job! just dont know where to start
A degree in psychology.
i didn't know things are that complex in monitoring...
sound engineers talk so much :)
Thumbs up for drum corps.
What is a monitor engineer?
A more important question.
Where's catering.😂
Older guys like taking in ears out
Real men mix monitors...
Friends don’t let friends do monitors
Lol, who uses a mon engineer in 2024, we use our own app and Ipad so we can do our own in ear mix or mon mix............analog period is over.
Great Video Nick!!!!!
