Hi Smiv West Ham fan here. I hate to say it but ill be honest i think at the moment we have one of the most toxic fan bases in the league. We are doing miles better than last season where for most of last season we were fighting to stay up. This season were currently in the top 6 fighting for Europe, have a sollid squad with players like Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta and JWP, were in the round of 16 of the Europa League and even with all of that ive never seen our fan base as toxic as it is now especially towards Moyes. Last season it was bad but no where to this extent in my opinion. I think the 2 reasons that come to mind for me are 1. People just want to hate for the sake of it and 2. Us winning the Conference League has brought in new fans who have unrealistic expectations for the club. The thing with supporting us is i do think we are a great team to support but to expect us to be on the level of say Liverpool or Man City is just pure delusion, theres a reason the Conference League was our first trophy win in over 40 years. We aint one of these clubs who win trophies every year. Right now im thrilled where we are and im hoping we can finish somewhere in the top 10.

Hi Smiv. Chez 🍒 fan here. You were one of the few that didn’t predict Bournemouth to be in the relegation zone after our manager change. Agree with your comments and under new ownership I think we can resist being a selling club without big money offers.

The Wolves prediction couldnt really be foreseen but those Burnley , Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea ones are shocking

West Ham fan here. Issue with Moyes is he has favourites. This stubbornness causes poor form and losses. If Antonio was fit, he’d drop Kudos (which was the case up until Antonio got injured). He tends to pick favourites. The same team/formation every week. Too easy to play against. This season it’s been Antonio when he’s not been playing well, keeping good players out. Last season it was Fabianski and Soucek. It’s the quality of our better players that have kept him in a job during some tough times. However, at the end of the day…. We are flying so can’t be mad. But there is a reason for some of the hate he gets.

Hi Smiv, West Ham fan here that comes very neutral on the whole David Moyes saga. I will say now, in no way am I saying I agree or dissagree, simply sharing what I understand from other fans I've spoken to with regards to Moyes. (So no need to come at me people)
The issue some find is the negative style of play. A lot of fans get frustrated by sitting back at home to teams like Sheff Utd (for example) whilst being at home and not going for it. This has stung us on a few occassions this season, but as a counter, our style works against the bigger sides, so theres one argument. I think also the stubborness where he will continue to select favourites even though they are out of form (imo he has improved as the season has gone on) another issue is the lack of youth he plays. We have a fantastic crop of players coming through ie. The likes of Mubama and he would rather play a very out of form Ings, instead of a hungry young striker. He can bite at the fanbase at times, which of course gets some peoples backs up. These are the issues I understand, but as I have said, this does not reflect either way what I believe. He has done an amazing job and to bring us a european trophy is incredible. He will always divide the fan base, as he always has.
So i can imagine for you anyone that isn’t arsenal winning the PL premier League is ideal. 😅

West Ham fan - I don't really want to get rid of Moyes, he has been our best modern era manager, maybe best manager of all time when it comes to what he has accomplished with us.
The only problems with him is that the football can be very stale, and there is not much to get behind when watching the games, especially at home where the atmosphere is not that great to begin with. He refuses to use his squad and rotate, and also has no faith in our youth players, which barring Man city, we probably have the most talented crop of young talent in England, so it can be frustrating in that respect.
That being said, he has done an amazing job with us. I wanted him to part ways in the summer in fear of us having a bad season this year, and ruining the work he has done with us, but it has not turned out that way, so I am happy with him at the helm.

West Ham fans who want Moyes out are so fickle. I for one think David Moyes has been by far our best manager in my lifetime, not only longevity but success. The bunch that want him gone are those who rate the squad highly and think another manager would get more out of them. Never a guarantee, careful what you wish for ⚒

@@smivadee still a lot of FOOTBALL! to play a few good runs or bad ones than teams with go from 3 points to 7 very easily. Got 74 points last season.
You basically picked your predictions based on the league table end of last season. For instance, if City won this year, then when would you every predict them not the #1. Liverpool have one bad season and you stick them 5th next season. Arsenal have one good season and you put them 2nd this season, behind city... just as last season ended. Your predictions are just the league table from last year. I bet last year you had Liverpool in 1 or 2 because they almost won 4 trophies!
I based it on the transfer window to be fair, just because it came out similar to the previous season doesn’t mean it can’t.
Don’t just focus on the top 3 though. I put Newcastle in 8th who came 4th previously, Chelsea in 4th who came 12th previously, Spurs in 6th after coming 8th and being written off of a top 10 finish, I could go on…
How can you not mention the man united injuries but mention spurs ???
Because I focused more on my reason for them being 3rd in my prediction rather than why they’re currently 7th. Every team have injuries, some more than others as mentioned with Spurs and Newcastle
Not like Man United haven’t had injuries but no one mentions it…
Biggest injury on that team is crushed ego's..
