Promoted sides Luton Town, Burnley, and Sheffield United along with teams staying in the division from the 2022/23 season such as Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Bournemouth will be looking to avoid an immediate return to the Championship. At the other end of the table the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Brighton, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United will be looking to qualify for a European competition, or go further and lift the Premier League Trophy.

I love how it predicts Fulham to be absolutely hopeless until February, then suddenly turn into complete world beaters for the next two months and then lose the last 3 games to narrowly survive. Seems like something Wigan or Sunderland would do in the Barclays era.

I dont think we can call the supercomputer “super” anymore. No way Liverpool get worse than the final position last season considering their midfield rebuild. Neither Chelsea collecting 5th considering their absolute destroyed club last season. They will improve but not by that much.

Newcastle may struggle with champions league football aswell, Chelsea recovery will happen towards the end of the season but I just don’t see their team of 5 million players gelling together until like mid season. Also Everton can’t keep escaping relegation even if it doesn’t happen this season it will probably happen the season after. And Sheffield United will do really badly because of their transfer window
@@woodygamer360 fair point. But I do see Chelsea recovering substantially. They have great players such as Nkunku and yes they may have a rocky start which is why I didn’t put them top 4 but they will begin to recover late December which causes a significant improvement in form. Possibly even beat us (Liverpool) second time round.

Spurs if they keep Kane will probably get at least conference football, villa under emery has potential to get as far as top 4 and a champions league spot.

I don't think this simulation is logical at all.
1. I don't believe Manchester City will win the title by a large margin.
2. The supercomputer really did teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Burnley, Forest, and Luton dirty, I think the former three of those teams will make the Champions League whilst those three latter teams I think will safe if not, just be safe.
3. Teams like Aston Villa, Brentford, Everton, and Wolves were given "unusually" high positions. I expect Aston to challenge for Europa League at the maximum, Brentford to struggle initially due to Toney's suspension, but have a surge late on, and Everton and Wolves likely to go down, despite decent managers.
I doubt the computer will get one position right

Just goes to show past performance is no indicator of future results. The thing with these supercomputers is that there are variables like new players transferred in and out of teams as well as new management to consider as variables. For example Spurs won their opening 8 games and drew 2 of them to go unbeaten in 10. New management, players sold and 4 new players brought in.
As an arsenal fan, I can see our old manager taking Aston Villa to at least an Europa League
