Owned both .. I had a 2016 current gen Tacoma TRD Off Road (loaded) and a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon (loaded) so while I don't have the Mojave I can speak for Gladiator. So loaded option to loaded option. The Jeep has a way nicer interior, JBL system Toyota to Jeep Alpine. Alpine for the win both in sound and features. Seating is better in the Jeep, your not on the floor and there is more room in the back seat than Tacoma. Gas mileage - Toyota for the win here. It's not a HUGE difference but the Gladiator is more thirsty. Engine - Jeep. It has way better low end torque which could be because it has an extra two gears in automatic transmission. Stats show Tacoma is a bit quicker in 1/4 mile but I can tell ya 0-40 Gladiator will walk it. The Toyota 3.5 lacked low end torque that the pervious generation 4.0L that was in my FJ and step dads Tacoma had. Transmission: Jeep ..two extra gears and a real biggy it isn't always searching for a gear.

Just traded in a 2019 Ram Laramie for a 2021 Mojave. I’m 5’9” and have no problem with the seat , and really don’t care that it’s not power seats. Love the way it looks and drives. In my opinion the ride is not bad on road. The only thing is maybe the wind noice , but it’s a Jeep that you can pull the doors and top off of. Like the Tacoma but love the Mojave

TRD Pro all day. I owned a 2012 JKU and the left cylinder head blew at 9,000 miles. Sold my 2019 JLU which had a glitchy radio, windshield that cracked when I turned on the defroster in my driveway, and rattled like a can of spray paint. Bad welds, death wobbling front ends, bad clutch pressure plates, blown engines.... I just can't risk Fiat/Chrysler quality any more. Absolutely love my lunar rock 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro. Far superior truck.

I enjoyed your video and I drive a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. I think you might have liked your Jeep experience a bit more if you would have been in 4L as the Mojave is made for deep sand and snow is also no problem. Due to the different ratios in the driveline, you can drive the Mojave up to 50 mph in 4L, unlike the Rubicon. The vibration was likely a combination of being in 4H vs 4L. Also the automatic is superb and I would definitely opt for it over the manual. If you get the chance try your drive again with an automatic and drop the tire pressure to 16 psi and put 'er in 4L. Then hold on as it will be a completely different experience. Very Respectfully, Gary

I drove a 2019 TRD and didn't like it at all. The only comparison i had at the time was to my old 1987 Toyota Hilux and my 2000 Tacoma. Both of those just ran more solid. The TRD seemed flimsy and I had several body parts screws comes loose and rattle. The crawl mode made a horrible metal grinding sound when engaged. The metal on the body is pathetically thin where if you lean into it, it can badonk inward. Also the A/C grew weak quickly and the engine would over heat if i idled for a short while with the A/C running. Prior to that i was a lifelong Toyota fan. Not anymore. I feel like Toyota has increasingly geared their truck builds to suit more urban lifestyles. I hated that truck and would tell anyone that would listen. I now own a Gladiator Mojave😊... A real man's truck made of real solid steel like Grandpa's truck.

I’d take the tacoma trd pro over any other midsize truck anyday. It’s just by far the best looking midsize to my eyes and it’s not even close. The seating position never bothered me and I’ve always felt comfortable in it.

The Rubicon & Mojave gladiators are badass!! It would be hard for me to drive it everyday knowing that it's closely related to a Dodge product 🤷 I picked up a 3rd gen Tacoma TRD 4x4 off-road with a 6-speed manual transmission, she's slow & thirsty but sexy & reliable af 👍👍💯%🔥 🚛💨

Anyone noticed that although some people like the Toyota better and some like the gladiator better, but the ones that said they drove BOTH, all said they prefer the gladiator😊. I'm one of those.

I’m trying to decide between the 2 as well. The Jeep is made more for play but has better towing and I love the idea of taking the doors and roof off. You have to pay a bit more for the moon roof on the Tacoma. I have owned a Tacoma in the past and they are smooth on and off road. They track well in harsh snow conditions as well. I dont have any driving experience in the Gladiator. Nice reveiw👍🏼
