Just found these at Ollie’s for $5 a piece . Been wanting Shake Eyes and Storm Shadow .
The Snake Eyes movie is a big pre-Christmas turkey and will probably kill off G.I. Joe as a movie franchise, so these figures are either going to soar in price, ( for mint in box copies ) or become bargain priced peg warmers.

I picked up two Baroness figures despite the ridiculously long neck and pre ordered two Scarlett figures as she looks to be the best in the wave imo, I had to pass on the Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, and as a huge fan of the comics and cartoon the movie is absolutely horrible! It’s bad enough they completely retconned his back story but they also made him an a hole. I’m ready for some new characters in the main classified line.
I found Baroness at Gamestop the other day.

Nice review, I have The Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow so far. I haven’t opened yet but they are very detailed. I guess I want to see the movie before I open them or open during the movie .
Pretty sure those "knives" with Snake Eyes are supposed to be butterfly swords.

I love the main line CI Baroness way more. I feel the film version is not a very good realization of the character.
I agree what you said about the Amazon SS. He is awesome and was the right away to go for an exclusive over the mainline ss. Unfortunately when “classic reminiscent” ss hits many fans will be upset and many already don’t like the artwork that previews his look on the hasbro gi joe site. I personally like it. I like your idea of using the film SS as army builder Ninjas serving under the “real” SS.
I agree with you yet again KP on the numbering system issues. But I really like the designs of these characters and the realization of their film designs in plastic fig form. Nice looking, greatly detailed figs. Love that they added details to the weapons similarly if not more so then they do to the mainline figs. Gotta love having the alt Golding head for Snake Eyes but really scratch my head at their being no knife sheaths.
I like all the other figures but these are so bad I just can not support them just to have them. Easy pass for me.
Captain Hindsight here to say it's now 2024 and even for $4.99 clearance at Ollie's NOBODY wants these figures. 😅😂 Hopefully they will be recycled in to better figures one day.

Its a figure based on a character origin story so “I’ll allow it.” ;-)
Possibly the worst production ever. Failed the line, failed the movie, failed the figures, failed the packaging, failed to sell.
These figures look wack just like the movie.
