@@26shedan Both for me! They both have the same appeal in a reversed manner to me. On one hand there's Robert with his manly physique while having the feminine mannerism & stunning voice. On the other there's Jimmy with his frail frame, pretty face and fancy silken stageclothes dominating the stage in an almost hypermasculine manner. They're both breaking the norm for what men are supposed to act or look like with a feminine touch and its so entrancing!
There's a fun quote by some groupie, can't remember which right now unfortunately who basically said that she was a lesbian (banging rockers for threesomes with her girlfriend, money & drugs) but Jimmy's pretty face, shy voice and the cute way in which he primped in front of the mirror to make sure he looked perfect got her engine revving hard lol
Led Zeppelin was the best. They will never go out of style. Their music is classic and legendary.

I am sixty now. Watching the young Robert Plant makes me feel exactly like I did in 1975. Plant once said in an interview that his act was pure “fakery”. Baby, I’ve never seen such beautiful fakery in my entire life.

@@ctrlshiftqq9846 Sorry, I don't. I don't think it was recorded. It started out in the stadium but then it started pouring rain and they had to move everything into the area which fortunately was close by but it took a bit. The concert didn't end until 3 am. so I doubt it got recorded.

That was just a thing that came out from some gossip rag in England after Robert and Jimmy spent months together in a cottage in Wales writing Led Zeppelin III. They did (do?) love one another, and were a creative unit. But gay? No. Their womanizing was also “legendary”. So which is true? The womanizing legends or the gay “legend”? Methinks the womanizing. Because that was definitely true.

Led Zeppelin, with each song takes your brain and puts it on a roller coaster and then sends you and them to the other side of the freaking universe. There's no sense in trying to escape because you are immersed in the grip of their sound. No other band could ever do this.

Girl I feel your reactions to that man. Robert Plant is so sexy. About 12 years ago I saw him periodically when he lived in Austin and my job was near his home. Even in older age he has mad swag, makes you blush and was very pleasant. Everyone that talked to him said he was super chill and so cool. But man those early on stag videos make you feel some things.
I was walking with two friends down New Street in Birmingham, UK and it's only bloody Robert Plant! It was like that bit in Jurassic Park when they first notice the dinosaurs. Gobsmacked.

You do realize that the singer you just watched.....The Golden God of Rock....is Robert Plant, the same man who sang Sea of Love that you reacted to? One was 1973, the other was, I believe 1982....and was his first big hit of his solo career after Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 after the Drummer, John Bonham died in his sleep from alcohol binging. A tragedy for his family, and his band mates, especially Robert, as they were best mates. And a huge loss for the fans and the world of rock.
'The Song Remains The Same' from the same 1973 Madison Square Garden concert is kick-ass! Play that sometime.

The drummer - John Bonham - is regarded as being possibly the best ever rock drummer. Jimmy Page is regarded as being possibly the best ever rock guitarist. Robert Plant is regarded as being one of the best ever rock singers, and John Paul Jones is a fantastic bassist and pianist who contributed a huge amount to the band - and is generally regarded as being very underappreciated!
Have a look at them 40 years on at the Kennedy Centre with the Obamas and others, watching Heart paying tribute to them by playing Stairway to Heaven.
John Bonham (drummer) died early 1980s, and Led Zepplin immediately stopped as a group. His son plays drums on the tribute. John used to wear a bowler hat - you'll see the significance if you watch it.
It's really fantastic, and the old Zepplin guys are clearly moved.

Too many accolades. Steve Marriot and Roger Daltrey are better vocalists than Plant. Hendrix is better than Page; Clapton, Beck are equals, Ginger Baker or Keith Moon are better than Bonham. Jack Bruce is the best RR bassist ever.
But as a whole, LZ is in the top five of all time, tied for second with Hendrix, the Who, the Rolling STones,.
Bonham is the best drummer, Jimmy is in top 3, and in my opinion Robert is the best rock singer. Freddie is the best voice on earth, but I think Robert has the best rock voice
On your side sir, you get a great band like Deep Purple who came up with maybe 4 or 5 iconic rock songs that will last forever, Led Zep came up with 40 or 50 iconic rock songs that will last forever.
