@@julienmarquet8612 Yeah they're both divine! They both manage to be androgynous in different ways too, which is so hot. Robert has the feminine mannerism with a very masculine physical appearance and Jimmy kinda looks like a lady half the time with his frail small build and girly face but is actually dominant & manly in mannerism. Idk, it's just a really fun and hot dynamic to imagine.

Jayy, not sure if you know, but Led Zeppelin created all of this legendary music between 1969 and 1979. Their 8th and last studio album was released in Aug, 1979.... then John Bonham died unexpectedly in Sept, 1980. SO IN 10 SHORT YEARS THEY RECORDED 8 STUDIO ALBUMS. To make it even more amazing... BOTH Robert Plant and JPJ were just 20 years old and Jimmy and John Bonham were barely 24 y/o when they recorded Zeppelin's 1st album!! The fact that they did all this at such YOUNG ages to that level of perfection and genius, makes them even more legendary in my book!! Thanks for showing Zeppelin some love!!! :)

At 14 years old in 1976, I certainly knew of Led Zeppelin and a few songs, but nothing had prepared me for witnessing the theatrical release of their legendary film
    "THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME:
    IN CONCERT...AND BEYOND!"
I sat in the front row of the theater, my head tilted backwards and feeling like I was pressed against the Stage of Madison Square Garden.
Seeing Led Zep explode onto the stage in front of a throng of thousands of wound up fans completely blew me away right from the "Rock & Roll" opener!
I've since watched this concert a thousand times myself. It's alway exciting and gives me goose pimples everytime. Nowadays, it's been immensely entertaining to see all of the diverse youth and cultures congregating online to discover the music of my youth for their very 1st time. Makes me feel to be 14 all over again! This music being discovered all over again is bringing people of different ages and backgrounds from around the world together to share in the joy. 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦

Great reaction. Led Zeppelin were the peak of what a rock band could be and do. All four of them were exceptional musicians, but combined they were unstoppable. Many, many other bands have taken from them, but live, no one could touch them. Their concerts were typically 3 hours long, and they had no opening act. They didn't need one.

  • @alexfletcher5192

The opening salvo from their Madison Square Gardens performance for 'The Song Remains The Same' concert film (recorded mainly in 1973, but actually intercut with scenes recorded later on to fit the footage), 'Rock and Roll' came to life during recording with The Rolling Stones' mobile recording studio (basically a truck with hotwired recording gear in the back) at the big old house, Headley Grange. Bonham began hitting the intro to 'Keep a' Knockin' by Little Richard (the original flamboyant black rock star - before either Hendrix or Prince - whose high-pitched yelps were picked up on by Paul McCartney on the early Beatles' records). Jimmy improvised the riff on the spot. In a way it's their purist expression and probably what a lot of people think of when you talk about Led Zeppelin.

When I was in junior high and high school Led Zep was considered a teenage white male’s band. I think all of these years later there’s vindication that now I see a lot of African Americans digging the Zep. Two things: good music is relevant regardless of age, and today’s music is lacking something that generation took for granted.

The person who never gets attention, even here, is John Paul Jones. The elusive John Baldwin (his real name) stayed out of trouble as best he could and even made his own travel arrangements on their first US tour. Well-spoken and a whizz on bass, guitar, mandolin, piano, and even backing vocals at one point, he was the glue sticking together the three main show-offs in the band. Never at home with the rock star lifestyle (he didn't even really like the same sort of music as the others) It later transpired that he tried to leave the group circa 1974, as the madness of fame and fortune and drugs started to swirl around them, but was talked out of it.
