- Not a sponsored video, I purchased this with my own money. I am a car seat tech, and was excited to see a fun new feature. My son was getting close to moving to a big boy seat, so I decided on this. I was disappointed to not be able to find any real reviews on this, since it is so new. So I made one, initially for friends and family interested in it. Decided to upload it for those looking for a review like I was.
I will try to answer any questions in the comments!
One I did not address in the video is that there are NO recline positions in forward facing mode. This may be a deciding factor for a lot of folks so I want to mention it here.
Evenflo needs to add your video to their FAQ page. I swear I could not figure out how to move the seat buckle until I watched your review. I figured I had bought the worlds most complex seat when I couldn’t figure out how to get to the dang strap and I was ready to box it back up and return it. Thank you for your honest review and instructions!!

Being an Oma (grandma) I needed a rotating car seat since I do take care of my grandchild while mom and dad is at work. I liked what you said about making life easier. It’s so hard to take my grandson in and out and the roasting car seat will be a pleasure!! Can’t wait to install it!
Great video by the way! Cute baby boy also, he’s just as relaxed as this seat looks! Cant wait to get my baby in his very soon. I love this idea. My question is when you are taking baby out are you putting baby into the stroller or another carrying option? Im so used to having baby in the car seat at all times and then being able to attach the car seat to the stroller when it’s time to get out.

So we buy this car seat that remains in the car and then buy the stroller travel system i mean as another purchase? Wondering if thats what u did, basically how you carry baby in somewhere like drs appt etc?
We bought a baby car seat and it was such a waste of money. We use a baby carrier to take the baby in the stores. Our baby hated sitting in the infant seat. We also got a stroller that turned into a bassinet, which is what they are suppose to be in the fist six months. They shouldn’t be in a carseat unless in the car bc it is bad for their breathing. I think the thought of carrying your baby in the carseat is finally being faded out in the US like the rest of the world already.

What stroller do you use since this is a permanent seat? That's what I can't seem to figure out to get. I need a swivel car seat but I don't want to buy the cybex Aton M one because its for infants not for toddlers. I'll need the swivel more once the baby gets bigger anyway. Plus cybex is too expensive. But another cost of a stroller is also expensive. I'm trying to find the lightest stroller that can carry infants because I have pain in my hips.
I had my eyes set on the cybex but last night at the store I ended up getting the graco over this one but not cause the graco says it will hold up to 100lbs and the evenflo said only hold up to 66lbs. I was really gonna get the even flow. I still might cause the graco seems to not want to turn not want to swivel once you are on step 2 of 3 and that’s a total waste of $300
Just got this one, Canada version with sensor safe and Gold lifetime warranty. In comparison to the infant car seat, this one is so much easier when it comes to adjustments. And by now Canadian version is airspace travel approved, I received a supplement in the box saying so.

Use it to bring baby home in ? In Canada and not sure what the rules are I know you need a car seat . But we want to try and save a bit of money this time around without buying multiple seats

Is it difficult or awkward getting your baby in and out of the car seat when the seat sits at a slight angle when rotated towards you?
One other review mentioned that the seat rattles when driving. Have you found this to be the case?

On the bottom of the car seat there’s the long strap to pull for you to tighten the straps, if you look in the little hole the strap is coming out from, push the little button down and hold while you loosen your straps :)
I'm curious, the angle of the seat looks pretty bad. Can that be adjusted? Baby looks like they are sunk into the seat with knees unnaturally close to chest.

This is not an infant carrying seat so it does not pair with strollers.
I’m looking into a new car seat for my daughter who just turn 1. After a year, is this seat still worth it and do you need to keep it on the base? For example if my relatives need to use this but don’t have the time to put the base on their vehicles?

There's a button where the strap under the crotch comes out. You depress it and the shoulder straps loosen. It's hidden and sorta difficult to get to
How are the extra-long shoulder stra pads supposed to work when tightening? Should the "tail" stick out? And if not, is there a trick to keeping it aligned and tucked?
The thing I don’t like about this is you cannot get a second base, if my husband needs to take his car we would need another car seat.

Stick your finger under the fabric where the long tightening strap is at the bottom and you’ll feel the button to press and loosen the straps. Lol it took me FOREVER to find this out. Hope this helps!

I read somewhere that it doesn’t lock when you swivel it towards the door, I’m afraid it might slide around if I’m trying to put a crazy rolling baby in? Does it sit still when you’re putting yours in?

Just got this seat, have only test fit my babe in it, 22lb, 76cm long. Do you find the fixed strap covers prevent you from tightening the straps properly? Seems to be my issue with it, the straps over shoulders are too wide and doesn't pass pinch test no matter how tight I get it

This is what I’m getting soon. I don’t want to be struggling to put my daughter in. Especially since I’m a bit on the tiny side. I hate back pain and I get enough from work I don’t need to struggle to put her in. Does it cost a lot? Yes. Is it worth it? I would say so based on your review and few other videos that I have seen

That's what I'm thinking I should have done more research before I added to registry and someone already purchased for me. I dont see that it is good for transporting an infant from the car to the house or car to the store.
It is not a portable car seat. It only removes from the base for easy installation.

@@mrsmmiles9834 think its fixed. You can definitely pull the seat up. Not inclining. Its near the head area, there is a trigger to pull it up. I presume this will help you. Shoulder strap just pull the string bottom seat to tighten.

Some how i got mine installed and then went to put the top back on everything was fine went to turn it to put baby in and its like stuck it wont turn or come off even with arrows lined up idk whats going on... The dad tried for bout an hr we had to bring it back inside and still now cant get the base off it seems jammed or something .. Anyone else had this happen?? So frustrated ive read the whole manual watched all the videos i can find and Nothing has helped so far...

@@haleygreen9776 yeah where it like connects to the base at the back I used a really good flat head screw driver shoved it in between base and top part until it finally popped apart .. I had put it in on a bit of an angle so that's why it got stuck just be sure it's perfectly lined up in the future when connecting top to bottom.. I just ain't taking it apart again lol
For a toddler forward facing can you just set the base with only the anchors?
Usually the uas tethers have a 40 pound child weight limit. Be sure to read your manual

I'm thinking between this one and the Cybex Siron S, also a revolving car seat. the only question I have is does the seat, once locked into a position, wobble? Also, when you drive over a bump or something does the seat wobble? Thank you.

It does wobble a little bit when going over bumps but the base doesn’t move what so ever if you tighten it right. Way better than the cybex
I just bought this car seat.. I was trying to decide on this one and the Cybex as well.. I ended up going with this one because the Cybex only goes up to 65lbs and this one goes up to 120lbs.. so this one would grow with my baby and last longer than the more pricier alternative..
We have the Cybex Sirona S now. While we love the swivel/rotating function and the other amenities, we never felt very confident about the installation and security of the seat. No matter how much I tighten up the belt, the seat has just enough wiggle to it that it bothers me. Ordering the Evenflo now so hopefully it's more confidence inspiring after installation

Who has a kid in a booster till age 10? Asking for a friend... Back in my day we flopped around the back seat like fish at age 4. Why? cause we needed to make room for the other 4 kiddos in the backseat...
It’s by weight and height for kids under 12. If they reach one or the other, they won’t need it anymore.
my eldest is 11 and only JUST outgrew hers in height now, shes got 3 siblings who are all under 4 in carseats

It's the adjustment handle for the head support. Super minor and you can tune it out
