Hiking McLeod Lake & Red Cones: Sierra Nevada Mountains (Inyo National Forest).
This hike is one of the many scenic hikes that begin in the Mammoth Lakes area. Visiting the Red Cones are well worth the effort. Seeing McLeod Lake in the morning light is also a big plus!
