Hi folks, here is part 3 of my EXTREME PLAYTHROUGH of Days Gone. I hope you all enjoy the video. - Hry
Enjoyable watch thank you Boris. There is a very popular gamer doing a playthrough of Days gone at the moment that could spark the game and cause more people to play. Maybe get what's needed to get a 2nd game. Fooster is the creator and over 3k views on his vids on day 1 I think that's good news for all Days Gone freaks like us. I’ve been watching Fooster’s playthrough and it’s been great. He’s been loving it and I love that he’s been loving it. He does have a lot of views on the videos so I think it’s amazing that he’s showcasing this awesome game to a mostly (probably) new audience.
Delighted to hear that a big CZcamsr is doing this game. This amazing game deserves a playthrough. I'm praying that a film is made of this game (it's been talked about apparently), as I feel that would be the push needed to get a sequel green lit. I'll definitely check out this guy's playthrough just to see how he's doing.

Extreme play through needs extreme measures. Every plant, berry, mushroom and saplings taken. And of course the glitching of the fuel cans and the untouchable spots. I can already see this is gonna be an epic play through. Keep em coming my friend.
Thank you TD. Won't have much use for the petrol cans once I unlock Incendiary bolts, but they do the job right now. And untouchable spots, oh YES. But, I do take out some of the hordes without using them. I hope you enjoy the series my friend.
The White King Mine horde kill was hilarious, talk about throwing everything at them including the kitchen sink, LOL. I am really looking forward to seeing how you handle the much larger hordes in the Crater Lake region. 🙂 EDIT: The respawning petrol (gas) can trick is amazing! I wish I knew that on my first playthrough when I was spamming Molotovs at freakers left and right.
Holy s&*t, Crater Lake is going to be, mmmmm, a tad problematic, lol. I have a good game plan for the Rimview Ranch & McLeod hordes, but the Mt Bailey one?, I suspect that horde might need 2 or 3 visits to take them out. It's going to be fun JB.
@@borislav247LOL, the Mt Bailey horde might make you rage quit. Even with the untouchable locations, not having the right side of the Survival wheel (or horde killer weapon unlocks) will make that much more difficult.
Today I get to say ; ' good thing you did a series on how to easily kill the hordes ' lol. One of the freakers must have missed an episode because he cheated and hit you while you were on the rock. Also while you were up there , I thought running out of ammo is no problem but oops , no ammo bags on the bike as of yet. The upcoming bike chase should be interesting as you only have a pea shooter instead of your trusty SMP9. Great video , looking forward to part 4 !
Thank you my friend. And I've got to admit, without the easy kill locations (I use these a LOT, but not for every horde though), I would seriously struggle with some of them given my severe limitations. You've just seen one of my biggest problems on this video, and with one of the smallest hordes, getting to my position even on rocks. Because my weapons are p%^s poor, I struggle to keep them at bay on lower rock levels, but other methods are going to come into play as the game goes on. This is going to be one long playthrough which I am thoroughly enjoying (even though the swearing at points might suggest otherwise, lol). I'm still on this playthrough right now, but I'm well into the game now, and this playthrough could potentially be around 50 episodes before I finish.
I've been playing Days gone 4 years never new you could do that with fuel cans 👏👏👏👏👏well done for showing
Thank you mate. It's a fantastic duplication glitch that I discovered about a year or so ago, and it came in very handy for this area so early in the game. Once I unlock incendiary bolts for the crossbow though, I'll never need to employ this trick again, or will I?, lol.

Well that was fun! Lol. How you remember to stop yourself from using focus or chucking grenades or Molotov’s is beyond me lol. That takes a certain special kind of discipline that I don’t know if I have! And you’re not even at the Hot Springs yet! Can’t wait to watch you take on the Patjens Lake Horde when you’re there. Your first “big” one. And you probably already know this but in case not, the little shack that has the nest in it near the lake can be climbed on and is an “untouchable” spot. I would say “good luck” but so far, you’ve been doing very well and haven’t really needed it!
Well Violet, the focus mode is the most badly missed, but, it's the easiest not to use, as without using a skill point, you simply can't use it, because you need to unlock the skill for focus first. And yes, the Patjens Lake horde Violet, lol, I have a plan for them, but I'll not give away spoilers. Nice to know about the shack Violet, but with my weapons, they would probably get to me with their world war Z bunching method, and my weapons simply wouldn't contain them. Delighted you are enjoying this Violet, and I hope the rest of this journey entertains.
It’s been so long since I’ve started a “new game” rather than “new game +” I totally forgot you needed a skill point to unlock focus mode! I’ve spoiled myself with NG+ lol
@@VioletJones1999 You have spoiled yourself Violet, shame on you, lol. It's all good. It's only when I was looking through all the skills I would be missing on this playthrough, that I realised that the focus would be locked due to this.

it's not just bullet conservation, it's finding new and creative ways to get environmental kills that really makes this fun. don't shy away from melee kills if there are only a couple of freakers -- it's one of the reasons why i like the machete and the ripper axe (the lawnmower one), since they have high durability. and there are more melee options out there than you think, but not all of them respawn. there's always something good (normally machete) around the green forestry service trucks (thanks dandydeney), and i started looking forward to ambushes on the road in Belknap, 'cause it meant there might be premium supplies.
Some solid advice there my friend, thank you. I kind of shy away from melee for large parts of the game, but I do eventually start to use it once I have the better melee weapons. And thanks for mentioning in the comments about the missions involving sniper rifles. You clearly have a very good memory regarding what I said in the very first episode.
I'd totally forgotten that trick with the petrol cans. Some great tactical planning in this playthrough.
I did wonder why you didn't loot the white king mine though 😂.

It was hard watching you do the 4 warehouse nests knowing there were the back stairs for the last one you tried to burn!! lol I thought for SURE you were gonna dupe the hell out of the gas can under the stairs and just leave a trail from in to out so you could shoot one and, like dominoes, light the place up- but I know it'd take a while...like Marion Forks! 😜😆 White King mine horde tho- aces, my friend!!!! Bet your missing that 3 bullet penetration huh? 😁😉 👍
Oh GG, I was cursing myself after realizing just what a hard job I made of that one nest, lol. And mate, great minds think alike, as I genuinely considered duplicating more Petrol cans & setting that lot off Marion Forks style, but the time factor was the only thing that stopped me. And yes my friend, the Patch perks from the challenges are being sorely missed. Thank you as always for watching & the amazing support my friend.

Another great playthrough, you don't half make things difficult for yourself but made it look easy. I thought you might have used the bridge section with the white king mine horde, hop over the railing and onto the rock, no bike needed and is untouchable, I used this section, shown by you of course, in my early playthrough. Nice to see another rock method tho.

Well Darryl, the bridge section is actually quite tough now, because I don't have good bullet penetration from the challenges, so the odd freaker can actually get to that position. Because of this, I decided to use the rock, even if the bike took damage. I just wanted to be super safe my friend, lol.

@@Takwakin40 Yes TW. I don't have the weapons to maintain control like I normally would, so low rock areas are now actually very problematic.

Oh mate, you always have to look out for these tankers and take advantage of them, as they will take out 50 freakers every time (damn the one that I missed on this video, lol). The iron butte Horde has 4 of these tankers in their ranch area, so you can imagine what they are getting when I reach them, lol. Thank you for watching Kannx.

One horde killing job well done and one accomplished by the skin of your teeth! LOL The White King Mine horde darn near punched your ticket. I have NEVER been able to get that damned Death Train horde done with the tanker only. I'm always running around like an idiot after I've failed ... again. Sheesh. For me I've given up trying that sweet method and I just hide in the brush on the other side of the road, throw an attractor, a grenade and a pipe bomb - DONE. I use materials but it's a damn sight less stressful. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride. Any chance you'll do any live streaming on this play through? 😄

Default crossbow is like 9mm is up close as its 40% damage. I didnt no that bout suppressors though it costs same amount of credits if 10% or 90% and refills the % and not a new 1 unless 0%. B I was screaming other way!! lol i always destroy that nest 1st b4 i go in as they drop outta window

Boris, I was thinking going forward the larger hordes may be a big problem given the limited ammo of the SAF rifle and you being unable to use Molotovs or explosives, I wonder how it would play out….really worried for you 😆

I recently completed a new playthrough. I forgot how hard it is with low end weapons and I ran out of fuel constantly.
My very first playthrough, despite all the locations that had fuel, I too ran out of fuel, a LOT, lol. It shows you're loving the game when you forget about the bike.

Ohhh thats how you did it lol I bet you did same with cannister on table next to cafe on ur short in Marion forks? And i was wondering htf you gona burn 5 nests without molotovs? Lol Can you stick a cannister uptop of between 2 nests? Take out 2 nests in 1 go? 1st 2 nests on right side?
Yes my friend, this is how I created the video with all the cans in Marion Forks. However, my job will get far easier once I unlock Incendiary bolts. You only need one Kerosene to create 3 fire bolts, so the job of burning nests becomes a very easy one. But I don't unlock these until I reach Lost Lake, as you need to take out 8 Ambush Camps to unlock them.

Never tried s12 yet my pt atm is hard 2 and I said I'd seen alot of wolves n runners but I think cougars have been reduced in numbers I not been seeing them alot lately even in crater lake region

Ps the 5 meats peices needed wont start until you done the elk hunting mission with cope i think. I could be wrong but i dont think you can track animals yet? No?

@@borislav247 I think I'm right bout meat mission as cope teaches you to track game etc and I think boozer radios you later after copes mission saying camps low on supplies? And you need meat? You can also tempt puppy out with meat instead of searching house for dog biscuits I accidently found out this.
Just making sure here... You do know that you can buy SAF ammo at camps?
Yes I do, and the big disadvantage with this weapon, is that you can't buy ammo for it from the lockers, as the gun has been found & not unlocked. You can of course with the 9MM.
I am really curious to know what would happen if you fill the generator at 40:38 with fuel and start it up. Can anyone in the comment section here let me know about it?
If you thought for the green generator it would start the nero research sites and you can open the doors

I don't think you can fill up that generator mate. It's only the generators in the Nero sites that will take fuel, but well spotted my friend.
You shud av done recover bolts skill at least that should be fine its a big ask keeping bolts topped up and this skill wouldnt break ur run as it only recovers bolts
I think one of the rules of this run was 'no skills', wasn't it?
@@foxyshabazz yes it was but it won't break his run as its only recovering bolts and he's using crossbow i would er let him off with that
@@SoldierXRaza Well, it's using a skill, so it would break the rules of his run, but fair enough, if that's how you feel.
Thinking about it, though, I don't think this run is even possible without breaking the rules at least a tiny bit. There is at least one mission where you have to use a sniper rifle, which is also against the rules of the run - maybe there is a way around that, not sure.
@@foxyshabazz there isn't, and i think he mentioned that in the first episode as a deviation. but having done something similar, i can say that he'll already be punished on that mission with no focus and only long shots...

I also think there should be a possibility to carry one fuel can on your bike. Just like in Mad Max game but there was in the back of the car of course ^^
That's not a bad idea at all. It could be there until you upgrade the bike to have saddlebags.
