I just started riding around this time last year and man, there's so much cool stuff like this. Definitely gonna be looking into Helite's offerings more!
Any, we appreciate you too! I've only been watching for a few weeks now but you're attitude and charisma is unparalleled. Awesome informative video, thank you
You read my mind man. I was considering a helite airbag vest myself. I have been of the road for a while and am getting back to it, but i have to consider my safety a bit more. The other airbag systems are with subscription etc and seems like a hassle. Helite is way easier and in the end easier to use also. At the end, 500 or 1000 for something that really improves safety, is nothing compared to your life. I am going for the fluo normal vest though. (Love that there is also the backprotector in it.) Love the videos also. Peace.
I like that you pointed out it takes 60lbs of force to pull the pin on the manual one. I was always concerned that my dumb ass would forget to unclip it before getting off the bike and set it off every time I got off the bike.
I've talked to someone who have broken their collarbone and the cost of airbag is definitely worth it plus the long term effect having some sort of pain/discomfort in cold weather. Although I bought the tech air 5 for more coverage(shoulders) my issue is they do not have any support here in the Philippines in case I have a deployment I'll have to ship it out to another country to have it serviced then shipped back here on top of the $177 service fee.

Then instead of just returning to watching shorts right away…you instead make a comment ranting Ether that or you find a comment that you can relate to and give it a like and say “same” and then! Seeing it deploy is not that interesting. Made a ton of shorts of it deploying that you clearly missed. Also, the people who came here just to watch it deploy are not ready and willing customers anyway. This is called a marketing funnel. Weed out the window shoppers at the top of the funnel.
I love my Helite Turtle 2 with a lanyard. Have it for a year now and I take it 95% times when I go out. It has a back protector, is low weight and comfortable. Connecting it to your bike and disconecting when coming off becomes a habit and you dont think about it after some time. Totall worth the price, I think I paid around 650€ for mine.
I have one - manual leather vest. It’s my go to gear along with Icon Kevlar arm sleeves on hot weather days. In winter I wear the Helite over my leather jacket. I love it. It’s just an extra layer of protection for me. I have the lanyard set up in a way that I can stand up in the bike without triggering the pin. Thanks for showcasing this product.
For the people that don’t want to watch the full video it just puffs up and gives you more cushion when you land on the floor, but you can also get a one that comes with an AirPod that inflate around your whole body like a balloon so you stay safe if you crash
@@droidsxi3271 Air vests protect your torso from organ damage and work like a neck brace for head related injury heavily limiting possible helmet movement during crash, eg u wont snap your neck.
Regarding the mechanism for the CO2 bottle. I would dare to say that it's probably exactly the same mechanism that's used in inflatable lifevests for boating. So in other words a pretty well tested mechanism.
I'm not from the motorcycle racing world, however, I am from the IndyCar world of motorsports, and can with 100% say that, I have seen those helmets save numerous lives ( myself included ) They are the result of years of advancing technology ! As crashes happen, the manufacturer does hours of diagnostic research on the helmet ! To this day, the technology continues to improve ! So, I can say with 100% confidence, that the crash vest technology will continue to improve, they will continue to save lives, and, unfortunately, there will be a few extremely unfortunate souls that will sadly die ! But, as a result of those deaths, once again, technology will continue to improve, and save even more lives than they did prior to those fatalities while wearing their vests ! The HANS ( head and neck restraint system ) device was much the same way ! ( thank you Jim Downing ) For your tireless efforts to develop this very simple, very light weight, life saving device ! It was met with a great deal of resistance from drivers in the beginning ! But, as lives were continuing to be saved by the drivers who were wearing them, and hours of crash testing, the HANS device is now mandatory by ALL levels of professional auto racing ! ALL of them !!! It's very simple ! They just save lives ! These vests are going to be in the same development curve ! Riders are going to be resistant to them at first, but in time, they will become worn much more frequently, and, as a result of, the cost of them will become somewhat more affordable ! Sorry about the book here guys !

Hey Adobo. Just a few questions so I currently bought the airbag with the tether. My question is does the tether get in the way if you stand while riding the bike or are stunting? Would it be worth getting the e version and what are your thoughts on that? The whole fork sensor and all.
