@@simpai941 why steer and it was an open field? try that with a real bugatti in those freaky speeds and we will be saying RIP to you. from the footage you can see the steering done was to correct the problem. weight distribution was a problem. i wonder why "science garage" did not consider that in the testing... but the main aim was to just achieve the speed
@@DjRudeboy254 you can see at 3:33 that the car was heading 41mph at a group of people and I doubt it had effective brakes, if any. So, the driver steered the car away from them and since an RC car doesn't have fine steering it over steered and flipped. Honestly, either way they probably wanted it to crash and the uneven weight distribution contributed to it flipping so dramatically.

That isn’t for the base model which can only go up to 261 but the Bugatti Chiron that hit 300 mph probably will be the super sport model

@@ojoface208 Not only that, they threw off it's weight distribution, it's balance, and not to mention his cornering alignment, but it was worth it for the hood cam...
those are go pros, the smallest camera's you can get instead of a fragile phone or a tiny cylinder with 12 inches of wire to work.

The car would be more likely to flip because there needs to be grip and weight on it so it moves instead of skidding/ being too light and gliding many times and spinning.
The speed would’ve also been slower without the go pros

Tanishq bhaiji Expect that, its just weighs a few lbs and its just a scale up versh of the real car, if the any car of that scale goes so fast, expect that at some moment it will lose control sometime while running.

Crazy power to weight ratio
Some RC cars have like 700W to 1KW power with a scale of 1/10 and a weight of just over 1kg or (for the lightest) 600g and let me tell you they're crazy fast.

If u guys are wondering, the R/C parts are Traxxas Velineon parts. 3500Kv Brushless Motor paired up with a Traxxas 3S Li-Po Battery with a 3S VXL Speed controller

I love this, I really do.
But the part that makes it fast is not LEGO. It is still impressive that it held together, though.
Also, the 32.6 mph is pretty standard for hobby grade RC.
They wouldn't even reach 5mph with lego motors. You need some serious kit to do that.

I actually felt pain at this because I built that lego set and it took me 4 days. For scale, I complete most lego sets in an afternoon.

I would have been much more impressed if they had found a way to adapt servos and a motor to the existing Lego chassis versus just slapping a Lego body on an existing rc chassis
