You're absolutely right! Brunson is the right player to take as ideal because it's stuff, that anyone could theoretically do, but nobody wants to hussle so hard!

An important thing to mention about Brunson is that despite his size, he weights like 100kg which really helps him against taller/bigger opponents and also to absorb contact

Hopefully Jalen will get the credit and props he deserves. He's a Super Star and just proved it. But the Curry Revolution opened up the court so that now SKILL is able to dominate, almost regardless of SIZE. Brunson and Trae Young a few years ago demonstrated how the smallest guy on the court can dominate 7 footers if they have enough SKILL.

Excellent breakdown once again Augustas!! You're right kids nowadays have more chances of becoming like a Brunson as not everyone is blessed to be super athletic, tall and/or fast- you have to find other parts to be effective.
It's all about the footwork and craftiness combined with the smarts
Great comparisons with Luka and Jokic and im happy you made this video breakdown even though Brunsons not European.

Good analysis of Brunsun game BUT he is stocky and strong in the upper body. Thus he can take hard shots on the upper body that would cause injury to slighter players. They can't absorb the contact and still finish "AND 1" plays. Most don't want to have bigger players coming down on them. Dangerous but it works for him.

I don't know why but maybe because he is built like an regular dude with normal arm and leg length😂and his main moves are mostly footwork and upper body strength which you can learn and train. You're pretending like Americans and American NBA players actually give a flying fuck about FIBA. 🤷 Most just see them as basically just exhibition matches to keep themselves active if they can even be bothered to participate at all. They don't really give two fucks about the results. No American NBA player is playing his best ball in a fucking FIBA match because why would you ever risk serious injury for something that doesn't fucking matter? FIBA WC's ≠ NBA Championships, which ARE worth risking it all to try and get.
