My tour nurse and OB staff have been telling me that all medically necessary assessments and shots/eye ointment can be done on mom's chest. That weight/height can wait until after the Sacred hour, and I should refuse if an overeager attendant tries to take a healthy, stable baby away before I'm good and ready. Is this local information?
