Everyone seems to have forgotten that in 2020, UEFA found City guilty, charged them, and banned them from European competitions for 2 years. Unfortunately, due to changes in European law, CAS overturned the charges because the breaches were time-barred. âNot guiltyâ is not the same thing as âinnocentâ. Getting away with a crime doesnât mean you didnât commit the crime. The evidence was presented for all to see back in 2020. They are guilty! They just couldnât be prosecuted under current European law.
