Had a 2012 enclave setting the app codes like that sitting still engine off the tps % would go from 124% to 0 very quickly turned out another shop put a new connector on and put the pins in the wrong slots. It wasn’t spliced in they just put a new plastic piece on.
I'd love help with my p2138 2011 camaro, pedal throttle.body new 3 shops still haven't found problem, new shop says it is abs module causing issue, can't wires be re run from pedal to ecm
Brian : I know it's extra work , but any chance of recording those classes - such as basic electrical and posting them ? However , when you are in someone else's shop that could be an issue if they don't allow it . It would be another learning opportunity . And if it requires editing , etc. it adds to the workload .

Human induced error, that is what many of the problems that I see come from!
I have 2011 camaro with this issue I changed pedal throttle body still have p2138
