Exactly that, we will look for words that are easier to spell, rather than one we find hard so we don’t feel we’d be judged for spelling a word wrong.

This is the most relatable video I have ever seen. When I was in college, I spent so many painstaking hours editing papers and even discussion boards I typed up. I even spend at least 10 minutes editing a short comment for Reddit and CZcams.
I be going from a fancy word to a normal word to a basic word to a very simple word 😂😂

Team is one of the worst words to spell😅
Literally the only reason I learned how to spell the word 'shield' was because of the DS game 'Scribblenauts'. I kept misspelling it so badly that the game couldn't recognize it and I got so frustrated I stared at the word for like three minutes straight and then did nothing but spawn as many shields as I possibly could for longer than I'd like to admit (until the level started lagging). I learned how to spell a lot of words through that game, honestly. Turning learning into a game has always been ideal for me.

Dude thats me, when I spell some words they dont look right like spelling it then I use a different word like you did in this video, I hate not being able 2 figure out sentences most of the time, like all the time when i text my dad or mom i cant figure out what to say to them even when it's just saying hi or trying to hang out with them

Same and I also have a stutter and a lisp, so I always try to avoid the words that I usually have difficulty to get out or pronounce and over the years I’ve become a master at finding “easy” words and replacing them with those words that I actually wanted to say haha just like you did in this video XD (I hope this comment makes sense, it’s like 3 in the morning which is wayyy past my bedtime. Oops)
I still don’t know massage vs message. When I’m spelling my vocabulary seems to change to what words I can spell, like instead of mesafe spelling “text” is so relatable
