    • @HarpoSpoke
      @HarpoSpoke Před 6 lety +41

      And meanwhile MJ fans can't talk about Lebron at all without bringing up MJ. It's getting scary at this point how panicked MJ fans are getting.
      All because of that fake "GOAT" thing that doesn't exist.

    • @username-wu3rk2aj4n
      @username-wu3rk2aj4n Před 6 lety +2

      But if you had actually watched the video, you'd here Skip was the one that brought up MJ. Hence why MJ is being brought up in the comments 🤔

    • @HarpoSpoke
      @HarpoSpoke Před 6 lety +19

      And if you were actually paying attention you would notice that MJ fans flock to every video about Lebron and fill the comments with their MJ propaganda blather. It's not just about this one video.
      Plus....Skip is a huge MJ fan so that's a great demonstration of how MJ fans act. He is incapable of talking about Lebron without bringing MJ into it.
      That's telling.

      @quentinmckenney3598 Před 6 lety +31

      landwolf00 it isn't a deterrent. People make these arguments against lebron because they have nothing else to argue. The fact is , lebron played more games and minutes than Jordan because lebron wins more. 5 out 15 seasons Jordan didnt make it past the first round , 7 times he didnt make it past the 2nd. If lebron goes to the finals this year it will be his 9th time in the finals. Skip reaches but at the end of the day he knows very little about sports

    Skip makes no sense here...lebron broke the record on fewer shot attempts and bc of that he needed more minutes. How is that worse than mj? To me thats even more impressive. And 6 assists to 7 is a big difference for a whole career. Thats 1500 more assists in 15 seasons (if every season has 100 games). And i think lebron will have an even higher career assists average in a few years...he has more than 10 almost every game this year

    Lebron plays more minutes because he provides more value all around and he goes beyond just scoring. He controls the game in every way. Which is why Stephen Curry is the best player on the Warriors. Stephen Curry's game provides the same effect. This is why when comparing Durant to Lebron. Lebron wins every time, Kevin Durant doesn't provide the same level of value. It doesn't take away from the greatness of Kevin Durant. They're just two completely different players when comparing greatness.

    All of them are greats in their own ERA, debating and comparing great players in different era gets you to nowhere. Just appreciate the greatness for all the players. Everyone has their own opinion on who is the GOAT. If you ask me, I'll go with JORDAN not because he is my idol and not because of the stats. It is because the influence and impact he made to me as a normal person who loves basketball.
    So if kobe or lebron or mj is your GOAT then there shoudn't be any argument because it is your own entitlement to pick who influence you the most

      I wonder if Jordan can be a scoring leader this era with those FG%. Today's era has the most skilled players ever drafted. You can't be drafted by your scoring abilities alone, you gotta have to be good at defending also. it is also clear that a superstar who can only score is not enough, westbrook's 3 triple double season stats is a testament.

      You used selective stats, I could make a list that favors Lebron easy! Lebron is the Goat, Mike won nothing without pippen Phil Jackson or the Triangle. Lebron won with 3 baby coaches different teammates, in three diff places, and you would not take none of those co stars over the 6 ring pippen Jordan played with.

      matthew- why hasn't lebron dominated in any fashion like that? Where is his rebound titles? Assist titles?ETC? Only 1 scoring title.
      Lebron is a stat padder. Just barely doing enough to say OH i'm a little better all around but not enough to make it clear.
      we have a guy (6 foot 9 250-260 lbs) that dominates the ball way more than anyone, no centers to worry about? He is not a past first player- reluctant.
      AND yet he only gets you 1-2 assist and rebounds more? Am I supposed to be impress? I'm not.
      Bird who is way less athletic than Lebron- gets 10 rebounds a game! There was plenty of big man in Bird's time. How is it that Bird who is way slower/ no where near as athletic or strong gets more rebounds? Explain. It's a joke.
      As much times as Lebron dominates the ball, he should have easily way more than 7 assist per game. This another lie- if he is such a pass first player- no way he would jack up 20 shots a game.

      matthew- another lie you bought by the media. Lebron can't guard all positions. Maybe on one play but all game? NOPE....Lebron isn't even that much of a better defensive player than Bird was.
      Bird was the main difference why his team had the hugest turnaround from the previous seasons. Bird made others around him truly better. lebron just pad his stats. Ask Danny Ainge that. Look Ainge stats.
      It proves everything I said. Bird got his @$$ in the paint and out box the other bigs for rebounds. There was a lot of great big men as well. How come westbrook can get more rebounds than Lebron? My point exact.
      80's was slow? It was fast.

  • @DsLmaNiaC

    Exceptional talent, constantly Stat padding and ballhogging and that is why he picked ty the east and his superteams. So he could have a cakewalk to the finals.

    • @xCallxMExJJx
      @xCallxMExJJx Před 6 lety +10

      DsLmaNiaC um that’s why he picked the east?? Ok 1. he is a home bred product of Akron Ohio and and was drafted by the team representing his home state then he chases rings with his draft class teammates in bosh and dwade then he comes back to his hometown- state to win them a ring and is still there in his HOMETOWN with the team that DRAFTED him and you say he’s choosing to stay in the east for the cakewalk... stay woke my mans✌🏾

    • @zackliu3579
      @zackliu3579 Před 6 lety +1

      To correct your argument, that’s why people flew to the west to not face him in the east. I know your argument:”KG and Ray Allen came to from the west to east and knocked Lebron out” Well why don‘t you bring some more? Lol

    • @garvinjames4616

      Gavin- and when he faced the west- he is 6-0. No game 7's.
      Why Lebron ran to miami instead of leading the cavs past the aging Celtics the way MJ did to the pistons?

    Here is what ends the “GOAT” debate for me……when Skip says, “he’s just a scorer” about MJ, not many people will disagree with that assessment. I certainly don’t, but that adds to LeBron.
    It will never be said of LeBron James that he is “just a scorer”…..and that’s why he’s the GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME!
    Edit: And one more thing….Jordan went to college because HE HAD TOO! He wasn’t good enough to go straight to the NBA! Another reason James is above Jordan.

      Jacopo Bottoni None of which has given him more than three championships. And unfortunately, field goals is a pretty significant weakness when those extra 15-20 points are costing him rings.

    LeBron stats really not that good in all honesty. At this point he's just blatantly stat padding, cause it's really the only argument that's gonna keep him alive for the GOAT discussion. He knows deep down inside that 3-5 record not gonna help him no matter how much his fans try to create these narratives for him. Also he had the biggest meltdown in NBA history by a superstar player that will never be forgotten
