Welcome to the hardcore/punk side of metal and what a way to introduce yourself! Their music is just flat out pissed and aggressive all the time and I absolutely love it. They do have 3 people doing vocals, both guitar players, Isaac (lows) and Nicko, then the singer, Bryan. These guys are absolutely absurd live as well. The “Upon Loss” dual track EP and “A Tear in the Fabric of Life” are as good a place as any to continue your journey with this band, and I hope you do!

Around 4 years ago. Was at a music festival. Never heard knocked loose before. They came on stage and the crowd turned savage. Have been a huge fan since. This song is heavy!
Also they are playing all over the UK in the next few days if u want a real experience, tickets are usually like 25-30quid.

Man you've knowing where you started, seeing how hyped you get over what is arguably one of the more polarizing band in the Metal realm. I know people who love other Hardcore bands who still just can't get into Knocked Loose because they can't listen to Bryans "screechy" vocals. But you're throwing shit, walking off in awe, you're pulling the stank face... You're not a "Rap fan" anymore, you're a metalhead at heart, and i love to see it. Welcome to the world of somewhat incoherent, chaotic tempo switches and absolutely *PISSED* Hardcore music.

Super surprising that other people who love hardcore don't like the screech. I mean Snapcase is one of the pioneers and they are far more screechy.
Its weird, I didnt like Bryans vocals after hearing knocked loose the first time and a couple years after, just didnt like the high pitch, but Slaughterhouse got me used to it i think and then with Deep In The Willow and Everything Is Quiet Now I just realized how amazingly pissed it they sound and I love it

Some of the best deathcore bands have two vocalists. Angelmaker, in gloom, psycho-frame, carcosa. Just gives it more room for creativity

Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone that hasn't experienced this music much experience and appreciate it in the same way I did the first time I heard it two decades ago. So many people write it off so quickly and never consider revisiting it ever again, and seeing you go through the same motions I did with a completely open mind just feels good. Glad you enjoy it, and so much more out there for you to enjoy.

I would name a band from Sweden, called Imminence. The front singer does super sweet clean singing, and harsh... And the kicker, he does it while playing the violin.
Super interesting, talented music.
And as a fun fact, they do some insane music videos to, following sort of the same universe "story" super high production, almost like a small tv show.
A live concert from them, to really get the feeling of the music, and him going between clean and harsh. And playing the violin.

Flo, the vocalist is a rapper on top of having insane vocal range when singing/screaming and the band as a whole are just incredible!! Songs I'd suggest you check out are Death, Lost in a Wave, Rainfall, and their newest release, Creature 🙂

I would really like to see how you would react to something like Fleshgod Apocalypse since they are death metal but with classical music influence. It actually goes so hard and it's a really unique experience! I recommend the song Sugar and the word "sugar" being a reference to drugs because the lead vocalist's friend overdosed on heroin and he made a song sharing his experience on it. You definitely would've found your way to our circle of headbanger delinquents if you would've been located in the same town during our little local 10 year reign of the tiny littile metal scene we had. Our band was Third World Abortion. We were a 3 piece and we rented 3 of 5 apartments this one house had. So we called out place the abortion clinic and we used to throw down. Every show we had in our town just went to cheap beer and inviting the whole bar back to our place for some more fun until the sun. You just remind me of so many people I knew back in the day. YES 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I would recommend Counting Worms, only for its iconic breakdown, but you can’t go wrong with anything by them. You have to check out Lorna Shore next. Very extreme vocals, and some sound like animals, but it’s all Will Ramos. The goat of deathcore.

These boys from Kentucky are the real deal every member as a vocal part and are super talented they have been on stages of festivals that they definitely didn't mead with but ended up stealing the show..check out "Into the Willow".
There are many metal vocalists that can do extremely high and extremely low vocals back to back. Will Ramos from Lorna Shore and Ian Bearer from Rings of Saturn are two of my favorite examples. Senseless Massacre from Rings of Saturn and SunEater by Lorna Shore are two examples of what I mean.
