Great Review! I've had the QC20 in-ear wired headphones for 4 years and love them.I've been looking for a BT version and this is pretty much what I'm looking for, but the 15 hr. Battery in NC mode of the QC20s will keep me hooked on them for my Long-haul Trans-Pacific flights and to use IFE. Everyday music and in bed Movie watching, these would be a major improvement, because any ear-bud without silicone does NOT work for me. EarPods and Airpods fall out in less than 5 min.
I've had Bose QC20 for over 2 years, and they have more than paid for themselves. Before I got these, I was going through a set of $25 earbuds each and every month. Bose knows how to build a lasting product. Well worth the investment.
That's pretty cool they can make noise canceling earbuds now. May have to put these on my wishlist ha
After VERY LITTLE use, The RIGHT channel (microphone side) died! The earpieces fell off on a flight I was taking and I had to go to Amazon to find replacements. I had given up on them until recently but discovered BOSE would replace them at no cost. Keep your box with the SN because you'll need it to send them back! They really should replace them considering how much they cost. I would not buy again.

I think that a $300.00 product should have 4-5 starts reviews everytime, if not its not worth it. I bought the bose soundsport yesterday, they work fine. I think the $150 difference for noise cancellation is not worth it, also, i am waiting for the apple airpods (apple wireless earphones, 24hr battery and NO neckband. thanks for the review!
the 24 hours that apple claims refers to the charging case, not the earbuds themselves. The earbuds last for 5 hours each time.
No more lost earbuds, neck band is a great idea and they can pack in more battery power.
The neck part kills it for me ugh i was looking forward to bluetooth noise cancelling from Bose but i guess not.
Bose has the best customer service ever.
First pair went bad within 2 weeks of purchase. Right ear speaker made a loud noise The mic picked up ambient noise to the point that callers could not hear me. Bose had me do a reset but that did not help. Bose replaced them with a new pair. They work well EXCEPT for the mic. It still picks up ambient noise and makes it impossible for person at the other end to hear legibly. For $300, I expected better quality mic. Read reviews before buying.
I thought noise cancelling means the background noise is eliminated for the other guy to hear me. But it seems your idea of noise cancelling is about noise around me being blocked so that I can hear.

They sound great! ...but you'll get about 6 months out of them before the malfunctions start and they will be sent back to the factory for repair or replacement. I am about to send mine back for the second time within a year. For $300.00, I would expect them to last longer.

Wouldn't really recommend them for working out as they aren't sweat/water resistant. At least Bose does not mention it.

the microphone on this is terrible, its because they use the same mic for noise cancelling and talking over phone. The Bose forum has a 40 page thread about customers complaining about the microphone, you can literally hear a bird chirping 50 yards away better than your own voice.

JBTech17 lol seriously, got these over a month ago and didn’t understand that part ( I’m old.....my 30 yr old son says he can hear EVERYTHING around me so he hates them and told me to take them back....if I am in the kitchen doing dishes, is there a way to turn down the background noise he hears.

My QC30's got malfunctioned within the first week. The green light keeps on continuously and the blue tooth light does not go. Also there is a static sound coming in the earphones when connected and no music!. I called BOSE call centre and some 'indian' sounding chick (probably based in India and having '0' experience of the product or NY market locations) told me to return it back in USA and they will probably refund it.(yes of course you Thieves!)
My advice DO NOT WEAR IT WHILE YOU SWEAT IN THE GYM!!.....the sweat goes into the charging USB slot pretty quickly, as it dangles on your neck and somehow the salty sweat is electrolytically charged to cause havoc instantly with the circuitry (these wireless earphones are not water resistant at all). If I give it back I will want to have the QC35 or my money back from this stupid design.With 300 USD, these research designers couldn't make a water resistant design. Give this one a pass i.m.o.

you were probably given these earphones from Bose to try out for free, because i did not find them any different to the cheap $20 earphones i purchased from china!! please give true verdicts and not some bullshit sellout opinions.
