Looked like a fun lap. This is meant to be the "playful" street-focused STO (less aero and just slightly softer), so 1/2 second off its time is about what I'd expect it to run.
I wonder why there was no alternative speedometer in this video. Weird.
Just how bad are these Bridgestones
The C8 Z06, I think, can do better than the 1.49,1 it record here.
The laptime is in the video description: Corvette was 3/10th faster.
Track temp was 2C when they did the Z06 lap, which hurt its time. They said in the magazine article they would do another run in warmer temperatures, hopefully soon. Temperatures that low will cost seconds/lap so it should post an improved time when they do it.

Sure. And that's why I've alawys said a car's better laptime time does not necessarily mean it performs better around tracks than those that it is being compared to.
@@TheTmat007 Agreed. Same conditions (ideally same day)/same track/same driver are best, but not always possible. Why most keyboard racers don’t understand is unless they’re capable of repeating these times, the gap between these times and their times will be far greater than the gap between close competitors, so these mag numbers aren’t going to determine which car will win against the other at a track. As always, it boils down to driver and car condition/prep. They’re good milestones as to the cars’ relative capabilities, and interesting to see, which is of course why we are here.

Not only that...tires play a role too. Some tires offer better grip than others.
most impressive thing is how well damped it is.
The balance seems off but looks like Lambos are finally doing good on track
ye, the original 2014 Huracan apparently was a understeer-fest lol
@@flavourinyourear lambos never rlly handled as well but they seem to improve which is great for consumers
Cut a lot of corners but did the same time as the C8 ZO6 @ 149.1 👍👍
he didnt cut a single corner lol. mind telling me where he did?
C8 Z06 was also run at 2C track temperatures, they said in the magazine that they would be redoing it in warmer temperatures which should pick it up some seconds.
Not very good ..
Wait, is this faster that the STO?
No
Description helps
Grausamer Fahrstil, schade um das schöne Auto.
