What an amazing and beautiful machine! Love the 296 GTB so much
Ferrari achieving excellent lap times with no big wings nor absurdly large tyres
But with enormous amount of power that helps a lot because the car understeer in the majority of the corners

@@CLSTRN911 it's not the track version heck even misha said for a "track setup" sf90, the assetto fiorano is relatively soft
Most aggressive michelin compound for road cars but yes the tyres are not overly large.
That being said it is only a second quicker than a 720s with trofeo Tyre, would have expected a bigger gap considering that car came out almost 6 years ago.

@@Earl_VTEC Wir hatten mal den SF90 und der war nach 3 Tagen komplett tot! Batterie unterdimensioniert und selbst die Türen gingen nicht mehr auf! Es musste ein Mechaniker mit richtigem Schlüssel für's Schlüsselloch kommen...🙄

Taking all curbs "volley". Messer zwischen den Zähnen. I see the point of running a fastest-possible lap, but it is a bit ridiciulous for a magazine that is dedicated for people running their cars as sporty dailydrivers or on trackdays, to run a car in such a brutal ultra-time-attack mode.
Seems to understeer a lot on corners (245 tyre for you) but just insane power really helps on this circuit which is where it’s making the time up compared to the GTRS and Black Series
Depends on traction in the manettino, and also I believe due to the batteries (understeer)
What are you talking about?
All I see is oversteering in corner entry and oversteer at corner exit when power is applied. Bit of safety understeer in mid corner which can be easily neutralized with power as shown in the video.
The laptime speaks for itself, and this isn't even the track special.

Der Fahrer ist Journalist bei SportAuto und fährt immer deren „Supertest“ in Hockenheim und auf der Nordschleife.
A Z06 is slower than a STO and 4seconds slower than a 296? I dont think so.

It was tested at 2C track temperatures, which would cost several seconds on Cup 2Rs (or any other good tire). They said another test would be forthcoming at warmer temps, but I’ve yet to see it.
@@heinedenmark Nope. The Z06 has been track tested by several magazines with professional drivers, and its blowing the doors off everything including Porsche.
@@ss-mw9dj your ignorance speaks volumes. Sport auto did note in the magazine, that the the lap time for the Z06 was compromised because of the low track temperatures, and any idiot who’s ever been on a track knows that running R compound tires in cold weather cost costs you time. 2° C is well below the recommended track operating temperature for a cup 2R tire, look it up on Michelin’s site. Also, if you watch the video at the bottom, where the Porsche GT3 RS and the Z06 compete, you will see that both cars turned slow lap times, and the testers attributed this to the cold (near freezing) track temperatures affecting the tires’ traction . In fact, the 992 GT3 RS, which has far superior aero and DRS to the 991.2 GT3 RS, turned a slower time with the same driver on the same track than the 991.2 GT3 RS, which would never happen at same temperature.
The C8 Z06 just won Le Mans GTE class this year, beating out both Porsche and Ferrari. Porsches turn faster lap times than Ferrari as measured Euro mags, and Corvette is faster than the Porsche GT3.

@@enfantterrible4868 i made the Avanzato corsa Piloti by ferrari. But i drove with the 296 in Mugello with the Dealer Car Niki Hasler and in Monza i was invited from Ferrari to test de 296. At the Moment, the best car that you can order from Ferrari.

The V6 is better - > GT3. Even in the LeMans 499
der Wagen wirkt sehr nervös und schwammig. Heftiges Untersteuern in den Kurveneingängen. Die Leistung bringt hier noch eine passable Zeit, ansonsten ein reines Boulevard und Autobahnfahrzeug.
A track focused version will come later on 🤷♂️
