this music sounds exactly like something that'd be blasting on a thrill ride
Omfg exactly
blazerlazer I agree! Things should be taken up to a flippin’ 11!
That's why he's playing it you undecorated Christmas tree
Yes! It fits perfectly when showing off these rides!
blazerlazer omfg I was thinking the same thing damn
This just convinced me that carnival ride makers are absolutely insane sociopaths
Exactly, plus most of those people who put together those rides are unlicensed mechanics who don't test the rides very well so they're a lot more dangerous than amusement park rides. One thing I can't stand about carnivals other than carnis being money hungry scammers 😡
@@musiciangal02453 they have to get inspected dude
Lol ennit
@@musiciangal02453 your comment couldn't be any further from the truth. actually many of the people who design these have degrees in engineering. safety testing is an absolute must, and everyone who plays a role in the creation of a given ride will go for a ride before the first one is shipped out.
@@Static823 Why are carnival rides more dangerous then? If you look closely at the material they are built from a ton of screws are loose. You'll have to go to a carnival in person to see what I mean. Specifically the local carnivals here in Massachusetts.
"These are actually quite popular in countries that haven't banned them."
This one fact perfectly sums up human nature.
So many amazing rides have been removed or even worse, ruined because of silly reasons and makes me sad. My favourite roller coaster of all time was basically completely changed and had all it's unique features removed just because it gave some people motion sickness.
I;m glad there are places out there where the crazy and unique rides are allowed to flourish.
I find the same thing is true of cocaine
@@Noobie2k7 time stamp?
@@Noobie2k7 What coaster was It?
I mean, you can't have fun without a little risk
I remember number 1 when I was a teenager. When your ride It makes you laugh hysterically so it was hard to hold on! Happy young days 😆 it went banned later. In Sweden
Oh my I literally laugh so much it would of been hilarious to me then 😂😂😂😂
Same I remember the TAGADA it was hilarious 😂
Good old days
With my sister we used to comeback from it full of Bruises
But I think they are Banned in France too
@@damiengitt lol in italy the tagadà is everywhere
I never even saw the first one before until tiktok. A user likes to go to the rides and then do back flips and freak the other rides out.
They still exist in the UK. I went on one when I was much younger, and looking at other comments, it seems they're still around here.
so how dizzy do you want your ride to be?
ride designer: yes
More like how dizzy do you want your ride to be
Not a coaster
None of these are coasters
@@apothecurio
Cant wait until that fad of commenting style just falls into obscurity already!😃It was clever the first 50 times, but now its just tired AF.
@@eviehammond9509 "fad of commenting" no these just aren't roller coasters. Or tall.
At some point I'd like a focus on just the unique airbrushed artwork on these rides.
Im from the US, can someone tell me what's up with all the "sexy women" in bikinis background on almost ALL these rides? Is that the norm for other places, if so why? Curious why that theme. Here we have mostly kid friendly type themes or decor.
@@heather_doestruecrime For one thing, the US is pretty sex-negative by Western standards (some might say sexually repressive, but I wouldn't go that far)
Most fair deco is pretty old plus it’s traditional lol
European fair rides are always painted like a horrible 80s interpretation of American pop culture, featuring everything from cowboys, hot girls and Elvis to Miami Vice. But it's part of their charm.
It's my aesthetic, and main draw for me to attend carnivals given I have severe motion sickness + back problems that prevent me from going on most rides :(
I was so glad to see you put an epilepsy warning in the very beginning of the video thanks so much I have epilepsy and my grandson wanted me to watch this with him I wish more people would do this!
They used to have a Tagada at my local travelling fair (nr Bristol, England) - my god it was so much fun! Everyone had a massive smile on their face, and I fondly remember it as the best flat ride experience I've ever had, closely followed by the Slammer at Thorpe Park. I don't think Tagadas are allowed here any more though, understandably, but very sadly!
My travelling fair have one and there is one at Rainton Arena Winter Wonderland. There are still around but there aren't many about
tagada's are still traveling all across the UK there is maybe between 10 and 20 of them
theyre still allowed in the UK mate! thank god :D
Yeah, they're still around. Had one at a traveling Fair i went to in 2019. They're honestly so much fun, so long as you're ok with having a really sore arse after, though i guess it also depends on how well padded the bench is, i feel the one i was on last was not great as at points i felt like my pelvis was being turned to dust.
Not banned in Wales, I'm not a big fan of them tho, went on it thinking it was nothing, came off feeling like someone just violently clawed my back
Italians are really good at thrill rides.
and sphagetti
cool
And pizza lol x
Why thankyou
The germans too
Grazie! I LOVE being Italian!
Pietro I’m an Italian American!
This guy compared a carnival ride to a pizza..... I feel blessed.

Put all these rides in their own amusement park and watch the money roll in.
Put all these crazy rides in their own amusement parks and watch the big lawsuits roll in as riders get killed or injured on them due to metal fatigue as these rides age in time. Many more moving parts on these newer rides subject to greater centrifugal force and joints and bearings put under greater stress than the older simpler rides from years before
@@arthureverett8220 r/woooosh
The amusement park of Budapest was in part kind of like it (a Flying Circus was definitely there of these, and maybe a bit too many of variants of a couple of others), well, suffice to say, the idea didn't quite work out! (closed after the 2013 season)
@@arthureverett8220 newer rides? Allot of these are designed in the 80s and 90s
Arthur Everett: Okay, so that’s why some of the rides at the amusement park\ county fair get banned for causes of death or injury.
number 1 is very popular in Spain fairs, used to be called "Olla" (cooking pot lol)
The very first ride you mention was my absolute favorite as a kid, and they had a version of it at Knotts Berry Farm that I would ride over and over. I’m so glad to see a version of it on a list, cause it was pure hopping fun!
THAT'S where I rode it! I knew it looked familiar!
Thank you for the epilepsy warning. Not a lot of videos have them so I have to be careful.
:(
What disability is that
It’s ya boi Chris not entirely sure but i think it’s when you watch a large amount of flashing lights, it causes seizures
@@christopherwise1956 Its called epilepsy.
@@hairyballsack5209 It's called epilepsy
I keep seeing rides that I love and I'm like "OoH iD gO oN tHaT!" Then I see that it flips around and goes upside down and I'm like, "nOpE nEvErMiNd"

Same at my fair I only go on rides that DONT go upside down or super high

@@caff-nolongeractive9344 That's no fun :( in my opinion!
@@caff-nolongeractive9344 hello fellow person i do the same
the music and commentary was so on point for this one
The crazy train has been at my local carnival for 2 years 2017 and 2018 and I was to short for it and I wish I was able to go on it it looks so much fun
I've ridden it, and it's a blast!

“How many times did you throw up in the rides”
Me:yes
my vertigo audibly said "NO" to every one of these
I suffer from vertigo too! It's horrible! I feel for you!
My stomach said HELL F#*King NO! lol
My fear of heights said “I’m staying on the ground.”
Agreed either upside down and in the air big hell no!
Honestly the zipper should be on this list. It's not rare but it's INSANE.
insanely boring
The zipper is hands down, my favorite.
you clearlt never been on a real ride ;)
Coaster Crave Insane and rickety. I went on it once, and I'm done.
Not a big fan of spinning flat rides, but I love watching a Zipper just for all the motion. Would love to take a time lapse photo of one at night with only one light turned on. Remember the Spirograph? (Not a ride, by the way.)
i really appreciate the epilepsy warning; i rarely see videos that actually put warnings for it anymore
we need more like this! i love fair rides and info about them
Coasters get all the love, but even generic flatrides are a great time. You need a combination of both to have a great park, and I hope to see all of these rides make their way to theme parks all over
There is only one word for this
*NAH*
SeN Furi that’s not a word
Why
7:24 the crazy train is really fun I have been on it before.
A moving mini coaster. Never seen anything like that
I feel privileged to have experienced the number 1 choice several times at my local carnival in north London, England many years ago back in the late 90s. Only difference is in the middle of the ride there were mats and ropes people could grab hold of. Was fantastic fun. Great video.
For those interested: The Soundfactory got refurbished and now operates today at german Funfairs as "Parkour" under the showman Aigner. It now has stationary axis at the gondola, so that Passengers don't flip, means it is now more suitable for Not-So-Thrillseekers. ^^
It's not as fun though.
@@gerragotheallidile It surely would be more thrilling and funny, but it would severely put stress on the whole structure, due to the heavy gondolas, that used to be there

I've been on a tagda it's so fun, my mate broke his leg tho ☹☹
Im from the US, can someone tell me what's up with all the "sexy women" in bikinis background on almost ALL these rides? Is that the norm for other places, if so why? Curious why that theme.
@@heather_doestruecrime My friend is one of the managers of the Stuttgart Oktoberfest and told me it's to compliment the flashy/glowing lights to attract riders.
off
Heather J it actually just looks cool and i dont think there’s an meaning or anything, it just makes it look more funnier and i dont even know wyhy haha
the ride really harkens back to the old Coney Island experience with unrestricted funhouse style attractions that push people into each other, very popular with young adults of the day.
Tagada is amazing. One was operating at Leuchars Air Show in Scotland. The ride slowed down midway through and everyone got up and switched seats. It’s rare the other riders truly feel like part of the ride.
There’s just so many insane carnival rides for everyone to enjoy!
These are the type of rides you erase the supports from and put a red circle on.
The skydiver I remember going on that when I was like 10 and I literally thought I was going to die I didn't know what I was getting myself into until I was at the total top.( I went on by myself because none of my friends were brave enough to do it) I didn't have the strength to get myself right side up so I'm hanging upside down which felt like for eternity helpless and I actually broke out in tears. Lol
The skydiver was at a carnival in evergreen park il some years back and it had 1 of the carts literally snap off at an end and was basically lying on the below it. Took a few hours and some half assed removal of a couple kiddy rides for fire trucks to get there ladders in there to get those people down. The ride looked absolutely beat down and looked like it been threw hell and back. I don't trust carnival rides, too many issues and lack of real knowledge off the people putting them up. Just another paycheck to most of them.
Im from the US, can someone tell me what's up with all the "sexy women" in bikinis background on almost ALL these rides? Is that the norm for other places, if so why? Curious why that theme.
Tagada is one of my favorite rides ever. Going to ride it again this weekend!
Great video! Well done.
👏🏻
I've been on the shake it looked fun but that night the trash can was my best friend
I Bet!
i have been on #1 but none of the others. i remember holding on to the bars and regretting the decision to get on in the first place i was covered in bruises the next day. truely horrible
I went on one when I was 7 and I loved it, I wasn’t hurt and I always go on them whenever I see them
I was on its first funfair in Rhede
Here in Germany those things are called ,,Hüpfer" and its super fun, half of the riders are drunk but whatever , I don't know why this is on this list
Agree... it was so much fun but less the next day. So much pain haha
Tagadá is the most popular ride here in Italy. It’s so much fun!! I’ve done it so many times that now I’m able to stay up without falling for the entire ride.
I rode the Hi Roller (6:30) back in about 1991 when it came to my state fair, and "What just happened?" is the perfect description of my experience. It was so insane and so thrilling that 30+ years later, I still haven't forgotten it.
I think i love the backround music more than all those rides! 😂
@X7 Ozzy Haunt by fiasko
I know
UPDATE: I am aware that Sound Factory was refurbished and redesigned by Gerstlauer as Parkour. What I meant by "out of commission" is that the original ride design that inverts people is no more.
WHY THIS WAS REUPLOADED. So it turns out that Waagner Biro was Austrian and not German. I understand your frustration at the reupload, and so I want to make an announcement: from this point forward, I will be previewing all of my videos on Discord before public release. That way the fine folks on my server can catch any errors I might have glazed over. I apologize for this reupload. Thank you for understanding and enjoy the video!
Theme Park Crazy DUDE

Theme Park Crazy, I've been on
Tagda at my local town in the UK!!!
We appreciate the effort you put in to bring the facts! C:
ok
I live in Spain and there is a Tagada in all the fairgrounds. I love it!
This just inspires me more to make my own theme park when i grow up and put in my custom rides ive thought of which are probs gonna terrifying (if i do make the rides)
FINALLY NOT A CLICKBAIT THUMBNAIL THANK YOU
Funny that a normal Shake&Roll is that high on your list. In Germany it´s an absolute standard-ride for nearly every big funfair.
One of the best rides I experienced myself was the flying circus. That was a pretty cool construction! :D
America is all about safety, sadly. Even if it means we can't have fun... or toys inside our chocolate.
Adam Pine welk Germany has some of the most strict safety controls America rides are actually not even close as safe
That´s it! Germany has a lot more safety controls than the US, so that´s not the point. Also there are some really cool rides in America which Germany has never seen...
I have rode a Shake & Roll before, a Rocket before, a Speed Flip before, The Flying Man (I live in France), and a Heartbreaker before, but I have never rode the Flying Circus! Have you ever rode the carnival ride I have rode? Oh, also I forgot about the Skydive and Crazy Train that I rode.
I´ve rode different Shake & Rolls, the Rocket by Goetzke, Speed Flip on a fair in Belgium (And in Bakken, Denmark) & a heartbreaker (Phönix by Gusowski) from those you listed. ^^
Do you know Ghost Rider? Only 1 of 2 Huss Boosters worldwide and one of my favorite rides. :)
Wow this is a great video! People tend to over look the flat rides and just look at the coasters. I’m glad I leaned more about flat rides
I’ve been on one of Tagoda on my own and it was absolutely amazing! I hurt my back and neck but it was genuinely a great time! Would recommend!
Even tho I don't have epilepsy, I loooove that you put a warning before you start the video 🤍
Apparently, some girl broke her arm on a Tagada
Night of the Living Dead Memes my cousin broke her finger on one, they’re so worth it though
U live in liverpool
The raven gamer yt ?
i'm not surprised...
Theyll tell you "get up, raise your hands"
Its a trap.
14:06 I LOVE HIGH IMPRESS SO MUCH! It's a lot of fun ♥️
crazy train is awesome!!! It would be at my local fair every other year, each time it came back with more padding
It was so painful to ride because it only had a lap bar restraint so you would slam into the walls and whoever was next to you- but it was still my favorite fair ride as a kid because it was so insane
From these rides I rode:
Hexentanz even last weekend. It gives nice airtime if you are sitting on the outside seat. It's a great family ride
Number 12 I rode the German version of it called predator. Honestly I think the kmg version with one arm is better and more intense
Ghost rider: honestly my favorite flat ride
Flic flac: I rode the one called davil rock when I was 12 years old but I can't remember the experience
Shake: rode multiple of these. Shake & Roll visits my homefair every year(also rode shake & Roll last weekend).
The best version is called commander giving long ride cycles and invert more than the other Shake variants
Infinity: this thing is insane I have nothing else to say
Tagada: one of the most fun rides in the world
I feel sick just watching this lol
Jamie Wickham me to 😨🤢
It makes me dizzy
Same! 😂
Jamie wickham yeah i know right how the frick can most of these amusement theme park slash fair rides be so really really super duper very very popular while even though most of them might make you feel sick and nausauche while watchin them and ridin them at the very same time lol ha ha ha q-: like eww 😖😵
Same
My stomach has butterflies just watching this . The reason why i wanted to see it is because i dont ever want to go on crazy rides thxs for taking out the information it helps 👌🏼
I knew the Tagada as "La Bamba" here in Brazil. I used to go all the time when I was a kid and I loved it!
Amanda C: "I want to get off Tagada 1!"
Billy G: "Tagada 1 looks too intense for me!"
John E: "I'm not going on Tagada 1 - It isn't safe!"
7:23 I’ve been on that one and it’s not even that scary lmao. The only scary part about it was that I kept squishing my friend 😂
Come to the uk especially in the north east the tagada is mostly found here
Ik, there the best
In the midlands too. Been a while for me tho. Takes me back to high school days
nooo in switzerland haha
They are very common in Austria as well
@@mathyoooo2 In Germany too
I rode a speed flip and it was one of my favorite carnival rides. It was awesome.
This guy did an excellent job narrating. I remember trying to explain the Flic Flac ride to someone, and it was nearly impossible to do so.
I swear, some of these crazy creations could be useful in the astronaut training process. Lol!!
Great video! Thanks for posting this!
The Tagada is one of the most popular attractions in Spain❤️
It's popular in the UK too. Very fun ride.
Same thing in germany
Legalize the tagada
it is legal. Just not "safe" in murica eyes (and the strange thing is the murican inspection/safety for rides is one of the worst there is)
Theyre so fun to go on just go to a country where it's legal, it'll be worth it
Kieran Kincaid I live in Verona, Italy and here the tagadà is a very popular ride that is present in many festivals. It was one of the first rides I've ever ridden XD
In Chile is banned too. Many teachers i grew with has a tale of bonebreaking rather this.Probably,God willing, somebody cared to make a safer version, but now rather not, specially with th negligences
In Germany, we have a lots of them! They are themed in a lots of differnt ways! So look: czcams.com/video/hE5EnSr4avg/video.html czcams.com/video/Ktq-zALHKqg/video.html czcams.com/video/Q_rzbY2zpb4/video.html czcams.com/video/-mzP46jRkCM/video.html

Woah! This is both an Art and Science! 😯
I've been on quite a few of these rides on the list and boy some of these are truly a scrambling experience to be had.
Also Number 1 is, as far as I know, still allowed in germany. I've been on that thing quite a few times in the past and it's super fun to ride, even though I didn't even know where I was anymore at times because you just get flung around like crazy
Hard Rock 1 looks too intense for me!
Top Star Tour 1 looks too intense for me!
Booster 1 looks too intense for me!
Infinity 1 looks too intense for me!
Dragon Fire it’s not bad at all but you do get sling against the bars when it moves if your skinny
lol
Thank u so much for the warnings most videos don't do that.
Ive been On the Transformer and i just loved it how you just flew around with like 100 axes spinnin.
i live in Brazil, and honestly the Tagada was one of the most tedious rides i've ever been on, but its still pretty cool anyways
The last turns up at fairs in the U.K. (England at least)
defo turns up at Hull Fair
And Scotland.

@@okaythen7360 there's quite a few. There's one called express in the north west

So cool! Watched it 1,000,000 times

I live in Sweden and I have never seen anything like Tagada.
@@heather_doestruecrime can you stop asking that question please
It’s nice seeing them move so smoothly, like the creators perfected everything about their rides. Also, just watching these rides makes me feel sick!
I want another sequel video to this!
Tagadas are also allowed in Germany, and Germany is one of the saver countries when it comes to safety
Du hier? 😂
Ja haha
Mexico too
Ya, i remember them being pretty tame rides, i sometimes used to ride them in my youth. But pretty funny nontheless, because you get shoved around, bumping into other passengers a lot and your feet fly into the air once in a while. ^^ It basically was the attraction that you could go to with your friends who didn't dare riding the bigger attractions.
Tagada's are the BEST! they are banned at a few fairs in the UK as they have had a few accidents but if the owners make sure that EVERYONE sits down and stops the ride if someone stands up then you can have great fun!
None of the rides of this list excited me as much as the Tagada , I really wanna try it !!
i’ve been on a tagada, they are brilliant!
I've been on a tagada like 8 years ago that thing was nuts xD It was in the uk idk if its banned now
11:25 that is a ride that looks terrifying. 0:53

yeh it's especially terrifying when you're not buckled in properly, happened to my sis. Pretty much a near death experience she called it. She never went on a thrill ride again after that.
As someone who has motion sickness I want to thank you for putting the warning in the beginning
Just had an awesome mommy daughter watch party- this was great!!!!
I’ve been on a Tagada in the UK, they’re insane, I only saw them for one year in like 2013 tho, it was really fun but terrifying when you start moving around
