Ben Warner i did live in Columbus for two years and I barely went to either because my parents always complained about the drive and I was under the age of 16.
I live literally an hour and a half from Cedar Point, and growing up with such an amazing theme park, I had taken for granted that this was so familiar to me. It really is amazing!
I enjoy his videos, but I don’t do intense coasters..... it’s the mark of a good presenter to keep someone who is not interested in something watching their videos.
Just wanted to say I really like how you take into account the complete ride experience rather than getting stuck on the technical qualities of each ride. It makes it easy to understand why you love each coaster you've listed and makes me want to go on them all :)
Steel Vengeance looks amazing. I’ve been to Cedar Point in 2005, way before Steel Vengeance existed. I’m glad that Millennium Force and Magnum XL 200 made the list from the same park.
Some people really don’t like the beast, but I’ll always have a soft spot for it since it was my 100th roller coaster. For me the Beast”s roughness adds the the overall intensity. I remember getting off the Beast and just saying “that was insane”
I didn’t like The Beast the first time I rode it, because I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t think there was enough air time. But every time I ride it, I love it more and more. The speed through those woods and those turns is something else, and at night! Forget about it, it’s an out of body experience
You try riding millennium force at night without eye protection, and keep your mouth open while your at it.. ever wonder what riding in a mesquito nest would be like that's the best way to find out
As a ride operator at six flags over Texas I highly agree with your window complaint. It's bad enough those restraints are hard to push down on their own now you got that window limiting how we can come at it.
JulienGamingProjects not really, according to most coaster enthusiasts Behemoth is a mediocre hyper, why ride leviathan when you can ride Fury, and dive coasters are one trick ponies
I almost passed out on the millennium force after that first hill. Lol Edit: Steel vengeance is my fav coaster too. I had a night ride and it was amazing
I think it would be a cool video idea to do a list of “introductory” coasters for people who haven’t been on any before. Maybe mention coasters that are smoother or don’t have inversions, I think it would be an awesome idea to introduce some new people into becoming coaster enthusiasts
That's a great idea. It'd be a good guide for anyone new to roller coasters or for parents looking for rides they can bring their children onto. Many of those coasters are clonal, too, so there's likely one close by (at least in Europe and the United States; I live in a part of Canada where the nearest permanent roller coasters are a day's drive or more away).
As a CP home park boi I can say, start out with iron dragon, if your comfortable with riding it, then try Blue Streak, a little rough but that will get your fear to a lower level because of that slight roughness, then try out Gemini, an awesome tall and fast coaster that, for me, got me proud of myself for riding something that big. After that you will be ready for corkscrew. Just remember that after you ride you will be glad that you did. Once you do Corkscrew, the rest is basically history. And if you are still scared of heights, what I did was ease into the taller coasters, starting with Rougarou, then Maverick, then Gatekeeper, until that fear of heights kind of just washes away. Hopes this helps!
Apollo’s Chariot is my favorite coaster - hands down - we have season passes to BG Williamsburg so we try to ride it every time - it’s the one ride my teenaged son and nephews can always get me to go on. I get motion sickness badly (fun for a coaster enthusiast) and can’t handle anything that’s crazy upside down anymore (Loch Ness Monster is about it) and have always loved regular coasters with no inversions so Apollo is basically my dream ride (I also loved Magnum when I went to Cedar Point years ago). I’ve never ridden The Beast but I have ridden the Grizzly at Kings Dominion, and have always heard that they’re comparable (but Beast is better) and really want to try to get to the Beast one day.
I rode Fury 325 for the first time in October, and it gave me such a rush of adrenaline I laughed uncontrollably from the last break to the station. That is the most amazing ride I've ever ridden!
I have the pleasure of going to carowinds almost anytime I want and once rode it 15 times in a row and never thought I’d say it but you do get sick after the 13th
FLM 02 unpopular opinion here... I only rode this ride once, and I could defiantly be tripping, but it was kind of jerky and I got a headache, not from the speed but from the jerkiness
Bush Gardens is a very beautiful park. I love how they herd the goats around to mow. Verbolten is probably my favorite coaster at the park. Smooth, yet has some fun twists as well as the homage to The BBW. Shame their Halloween events are so tame since SeaWorld bought them.
I love your passion for roller coasters and i must say your vocabulary really threw me for a loop, pun intended. Great video and very well spoken young man. Great job!
Steel vengeance is my favorite roller coaster of all time. I went to cedar point twice this last season and I rode it back to back at least 8 times each time. The night ride is amazing too if you can get past swallowing a swarm of bugs that gather near the lanterns haha.
I'm happy to see you putting fury in your top 10, nobody had done it for 2 years but this coaster used to be the #1 of many people. I really don't understand why it got so much hate.

I rode Steel vengeance this past Sunday. When I caught up with my son I told him it was the best roller coaster I had ever been on. Glad to see it wasn't just me and others feel the same way.
personally my favorite b and m invert is nemesis at alston towers its a speechless monster and the intensity through the rivenes is crazy and the themeing is great perfect invert

Same here. Dorney is only about 30 minutes from where I live, and Hershey and Knoebel's are only about an hour or so away. I only just went to Dorney for the first time last month.
I know this is an older video, but at the beginning when you said you hadn't been to those 4 parks, my law damn near hit the floor. I was like WHAT!!!??? You are my go to coaster-guru. And I was SMILING from ear to ear non stop reliving each of those coasters... MAN was I in heaven watching this ❤❤❤
I love Cheetah Hunt Extremely fun and the water section is great The launches are cool and the Airtime is great right after the second launch going up to the top and the airtime hill after the third launch So many people disrespect this coaster because they expect Mavericks Intensity
Yes!!! I remember the wait from when they announced it to the POV test videos coming out and it opening felt like ages 😭 I'm not afraid of heights but I still have a mini heart attack every time I get to the top 😂
i have absolutely no interest in roller coasters, never been on one and never plan on it as of the heights and speeds, but this channel is literally amazing. I have insomnia and for some reason these videos really seem to relax me for some reason which is strange, its currently 6:19am in Ireland and I've been watching these videos for hours every night for the past few months , thank you ! :)
Here are my top 25 (all in Europe because I haven’t been outside of Europe) 25: Blue Fire, Europa Park 24: Monster, Walygator Park 23: Red Force, Ferrari Land 22: Tonnere De Zeus, Parc Asterix 21: Jetline, Gröna Lund 20: Booster Bike, Toverland 19: Furius Baco, PortAventura 18: Robin Hood, Walibi Holland (and don’t ask me why it’s here) 17: Wodan, Europa Park 16: Abismo, Parque de Atracciones de Madrid 15: Balder, Liseberg 14: Fēnix, Toverland 13: Anubis, Plopsaland De Panne 12: Lost Gravity, Walibi Holland 11: Big One, Blackpool Pleasure Beach 10: Troy, Toverland 9: Black Mamba, Phantasialand 8: Goliath, Walibi Holland 7: Dragon Khan, PortAventura 6: Helix, Liseberg 5: A tie between Fluch von Novgorod at Hansa Park and Nemesis at Alton Towers 4: Schwur des Kärnan, Hansa Park 3: A tie between Silver Star at Europa Park, Taron at Phantasialand, and Expedition GeForce at Holiday Park (almost forgot to put these in the list) 2: Shambhala, PortAventura 1: Wildfire, Kolmården (The reason why Robin Hood is on here is that it was my first coaster so it’s on there for nostalgia)
It’s so fast and over with so quick. Like he said when you finally stop you are so disoriented you’re like, what the heck just happened! Loved that loop on the Superman, that ride seemed to last a while. Their new joker ride is awesome too.
Magnum's ejector airtime is very unique :D It's probably because it was hand welded. Of course this was the late 80s, going into the early 90s, so computerized built coasters wasn't a thing, and so the hills are super triangular, which leads to that awesome airtime. I don't care about roughness as much, because if the ride is awesome and rough, then it just adds to the experience for me :)
Dollywood is my home park only rode rod once it was closed when I went back because of it being to hot . when I did ride it took about 2 hours of wait time but was truly worth it
I don't know why, but magnum was the roughest coaster I've ever ridden. I just rode it one time, because we got beaten so hard, that we didn't feel like going on it ever again.
I rode in the front and it was still extremely rough. They really need to change the hard lap restraints to just seatbeslts. That would make all of that juicy airtime so much better!
Have u been to Carowinds? My three favorites there are; 1: Intimidator. 2: Fury 325. And 3: the Nighthawk. 4: Carolina Goldrusher (because the carts are trains, I like trains, I also like this coaster because it’s wooden)
Omg I remember Phoenix. For my sleep away camp, we won something and our bunk took a one day trip to that park. That was the first legit roller coaster I rode and I ended up riding that coaster again in the same day. God I almost forgot that ride and park existed
Seeing so much love for Six Flags Fiesta Texas makes me so happy! My family used to take me there all the time and my dad’s all-time favorite ride “The Superman” made it on your list!
I just got home from cedar point and I can confirm that this guy is right. Steel Vengeance is hands down the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on. Don’t let it intimidate you... it’s intense, but it’s smoothness makes the forcefulness seem more subtle. Almost 30 seconds of airtime. Add this coaster to your bucket list.
What? It was literally the roughest coaster I've EVER been on, the only one that actually injured me. And it wasn't remotely worth it since it's such an incredibly boring coaster.
@@ChaosRocket just outta curiosity, do you weigh over 250lbs? If so, it’s not this ride’s fault that you can lay off they ice cream. The only time I hear people complaint about the force on smooth rides is when they are either senior citizens or Jabba the Hutts.
Cheetah hunt is one of my favourite coaster too, it was also my first roller coaster with an inversion when I was 7 because my uncle tricked me into going on it.
I'm really glad you mentioned quite a number of rides from Cedar Point. I go there every year and Steel Vengeance is my favorite ride there alongside Millennium Force and Maverick. All 3 coasters are awesome. Also, for Maverick, I've noticed that before the second half of the ride via the tunnel where your picture is taken, you'll hear a sound that kinda reminds me of an untamed buck about to go crazy in the arena. That's why it's one of my top favorites.
It's 1am, I'm watching videos on rollercoasters and I don't know how or why I got here.
Not complaining though.

I live in pretty easy driving distance of Dorney Six Flags Great Adventure and Hershey.
Madeline Garber don’t forget Knoebels!
Mike R of course.
Same here. Dorney is only about 30 minutes from where I live, and Hershey and Knoebel's are only about an hour or so away. I only just went to Dorney for the first time last month.
This is excellent journalism. Impressive writing and analysis. I can’t wait for you to see more parks! Especially those in Germany!
MiNombreEsElCamaron yah from what I’ve heard Germany has some awesome rides
Peter your videos are a joy because you are so positive. Great narrative!
I know this is an older video, but at the beginning when you said you hadn't been to those 4 parks, my law damn near hit the floor. I was like WHAT!!!??? You are my go to coaster-guru. And I was SMILING from ear to ear non stop reliving each of those coasters... MAN was I in heaven watching this ❤❤❤
You comparing the rollercoasters to food always makes me laugh 😂 great list as usual!!
I love Cheetah Hunt
Extremely fun and the water section is great
The launches are cool and the Airtime is great right after the second launch going up to the top and the airtime hill after the third launch
So many people disrespect this coaster because they expect Mavericks Intensity
It's definitely my favorite at Busch Gardens and only trails the Mako in all of Florida.
Go Steel Vengeance! I salute you so freaking much!
The beast at night is the shit, definitely worth a 2 hour wait
“You’d be hard pressed to find it anywhere else”
Railblazer: *am I a joke to you?*
We people who have Fiesta Texas as our home park only have 9 coasters, we just want some recognition compared to Magic Mountain and Great America:(
I love how Carowinds got some love! I remember fury 325 being builT XD CLT proud
I went to the Coaster Campout at King’s Island, Ohio, and I got a front-row night ride of the Beast. Talk about amazing.

17: Wodan, Europa Park

2: Shambhala, PortAventura

(The reason why Robin Hood is on here is that it was my first coaster so it’s on there for nostalgia)
Love!
Never been to Europe and you’ve never been to North America so I’m guessing you have none of the same creds as me
when i went to fiesta texas, we were about to ride it before it was temporarily closed for some reason. (Wonder woman)
It’s so fast and over with so quick. Like he said when you finally stop you are so disoriented you’re like, what the heck just happened! Loved that loop on the Superman, that ride seemed to last a while. Their new joker ride is awesome too.
Intimidator is my favorite of all time. I can’t get enough of it
Abby Lynn intimidator 305 or intimidator at carowinds?
Chloe C. 305- the one at kings dominion VA. Theeee best
I love the apollo's Chariot it's just so FUN
Magnum's ejector airtime is very unique :D It's probably because it was hand welded. Of course this was the late 80s, going into the early 90s, so computerized built coasters wasn't a thing, and so the hills are super triangular, which leads to that awesome airtime. I don't care about roughness as much, because if the ride is awesome and rough, then it just adds to the experience for me :)
On the vide at 0:38 The Phoenix at Knoebels. I have been on the ride. I love it. I miss that place. You can camp there as well.
Thank you so much for the great videos! I love all roller coasters too!
Fury, Maverick and El Toro are my favorites for sure. I NEED to get on Steel Vengeance though...
fury is a beast
It really is. That ride hauls ass!
I’m excited to ride steel vengeance next year for sure and I’m excited to ride lightning rod next year also
Dollywood is my home park only rode rod once it was closed when I went back because of it being to hot . when I did ride it took about 2 hours of wait time but was truly worth it
Mario The legendary fuck off
Save Mean I’ll take note of that
Steel Vengeance man. You’re gonna love it. Omg!! You can’t overhype this coaster. It’s amazing. Breath taking. Just...just go ride it man.
Me too! I’m going to Cedar Point this summer now for the first time and I’m so excited!!
I don't know why, but magnum was the roughest coaster I've ever ridden. I just rode it one time, because we got beaten so hard, that we didn't feel like going on it ever again.
Deloron i assume you rode in the very back, if you ride in other rows it is not that bad
@@coastercrowd6154 yeah it was in the backrow.
I rode in the front and it was still extremely rough. They really need to change the hard lap restraints to just seatbeslts. That would make all of that juicy airtime so much better!
Yes agree! I go to cp all the time and magnum is probably one of my least favorites. It makes me feel like I’m gonna die
Have u been to Carowinds? My three favorites there are; 1: Intimidator. 2: Fury 325. And 3: the Nighthawk. 4: Carolina Goldrusher (because the carts are trains, I like trains, I also like this coaster because it’s wooden)
Leaf McDonald how would he have been able to put fury 325 at number two if he hadn’t been to Carowinds?????
I never said he had been, I asked, and then stated MY three favorites
My mom took me behind the superman loop to the mall’s parking lot sometimes. I loved watching the people go uuuuuup and dooooown. It was awesome.
I’m glad that one of your favorite coasters is in bucsh gardens va
Crunchy Napkin I’m a Virginian and my personal favorite park is Kings dominion Because of i305 and twisted timbers
Steel vengeance is definitely worth the wait and is the best coaster Ive been on.
Montu is definitely amazing I live in Florida and have Busch gardens passes
Same but I like Kumba more but at least Busch gardens got two spots
i’m sad he didn’t put shiekra its such a good ride
I just got home from cedar point and I can confirm that this guy is right. Steel Vengeance is hands down the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on. Don’t let it intimidate you... it’s intense, but it’s smoothness makes the forcefulness seem more subtle. Almost 30 seconds of airtime. Add this coaster to your bucket list.
We might have to travel from Texas to Ohio to check that park out!
I rode steel vengeance and I 100000% agree with every single thing you said about it
Cheetah hunt is one of my favourite coaster too, it was also my first roller coaster with an inversion when I was 7 because my uncle tricked me into going on it.
Me 2017: steel vengeance is gonna be so overrated
Also me 2018: STEEL VENGEANCE IS THE BEST ROLLERCOASTER EVER
2017 you was right
Wait till rmc gwazi 🤗
17:25 twisted timbers is definitely my favorite other than intimidator 305
Lots of people black out on intimidator tho
I really do like this channel, please make more and more! 😃 and
I really hope to get on some of these rides.
