Incredible..your super integrity, super attitude & very hard work has inspired me (age 75, retired from oil field downhole services) now doing various handy man activities for restaurant kitchen, lawyer office, son with spinal cord injury (Marine, Iraq etc) his property maintenance & grocery store book case type display builds..son, you show all who watch that you have serious work ethic & great attitude toward very serious heavy equip engine work. Also I love yur sense of humor mixed with story time. Just love watching yur channel. Inspiring, educational, funny & constructive are my comments to you! Also great to see your dedicated wife jump in to help, like on that big road grader in philly country & recently, pulling that big JD track unit off the Hwy due to Re-manuf'd engine failure on your road test after assembly of hoses & drive shaft. Just a mighty fine channel to watch! Carry on!👍🙂
You’ve just admitted you cussed and cursed in front of the Deere engine, mostly likely upsetting it, causing it to let go in its fragile emotional state. Any reason to get out of admitting it, been there before myself, installers fault, in the end turns out the reman company were using the wrong rubber and the oil and heat was destroying the rubber. Great to see you back at it! Hope your well, and staying de-stressed as best as possible!
Hi Warren. Besides diesel and HD, I worked as a machinist at a shop that built high performance and racing engines. On that 289 - when a high lift cam is put in with stronger springs, your machine shop should have told you it is a must have to replace the pressed in rocker studs with screw in rocker studs. Standard operating procedure for hot rodding any old OHV gas engine. Drilling and tapping the threads should be done on a milling machine or a specialist machine like the Sunnen VGS, Kwik-Way, or Serdi valve / guide / seat machines. Also must have's is checking for spring coil bind with higher lift cams, checking push rod length, rocker geometry, piston to valve clearances, etc....
Documentation is a wonderful thing... when you're a drywall repairman.... if you are GOOD... once you're done.... if you don't have pictures (moving or not).... you got nuttin' honey !! Also great is the handing down of vital info in one's craft.. ty Warren
When building up a gas engine, with an aftermarket cam, tapped rocker studs are a MUST. The best ones I’ve found are the serrated ones from ARP. I learned that lesson the hard way.
ARP stuff is great. Expensive - but worth it when the engine needs the best fasteners in the business. I wish they made stuff like head stud kits for all my bike engines, too.
I blew up the engine on my jd 4430 and the deere dealer flat out said don’t put a reman in it. So they helped me out with the information I needed to rebuild it myself. It has been great ever since.
I've actually had a couple of people say the same thing. Certain dealers will even refer you to a quality engine builder in their area where the owner can have direct contact with the builder, that makes a huge impact on accountability.
Like the fact that JD looked at the video and commented about what you did to the turbo to get the hose to fit, like that's going to affect the happened to the engine internally.
I'll take integrity over cheap every day of the week there Warren. Sounds like your Deere dealer is having having some issues with their warranty service department. We know that the remans are done as cheap as possible to get their money back from each warranty coverage, but it seems the company doing the work has some integrity issues and very inexperienced workers. You openly admitted not knowing as much about the gas engine side of things, that's honesty and integrity right there. My guess is that the reman company is hiring low wage mechanics for high wage jobs and you are seeing the result. Unfortunately that is a pretty common practice these days. I suggest that whenever you do warranty and reman work, let the camera run the entire time and edit a copy for your posts, that way you have a complete log of the job for your records and evidence if it's needed. The world today is definitely not what it use to be. What a shame. 😔 Hang in there buddy, we are here for your support. Thanks for sharing these videos. 👌🤙👍
I noticed as you took the nuts off the radiator support struts that the rubber dampers were not on Both sides of the frame mounting plates. There was just a nut and washer on the lower side with the gap in the rubber cushions visible. Keep up the great work.
Any basic mechanic would know that the problem with the Deere was internal to the engine because it started right up, came up to temp and pressure and ran fine after install with no warning indicators. The only thing it could have been at that point after driving it for a few miles was something left untorqued or something else internal to the reman.
You are as honest of a man as can be. Do not worry about ramifications from weasel's. Honor and integrity will bring you through. Your very lucky to have a nice wife that helps you out when you need an extra hand. Keep up the same path you are on and you will be fine.
Hi Warren, FYI we used to make chain tow bars by getting 3" pipe running chain through it to maintain distance to be able to pull something home by one person. Forgot to mention this earlier. Just have to use bolts on chain to keep the ends together. Something to think about to even get something out of the woods. Use two pipes and do not have tow vehicle steering problems.
Packer can’t void warranty because you installed it. Search Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act manufacturers are not following the rules. Why would rotating the turbo cause a problem? If you had a leak the engine would runaway normally they just stop or thru a rod. Guessing they are fishing for a way to blame you. Good video
We had a fellow in the small town I live near, raise His gas, diesel. so high the Law went to his place and made him lower the price back down. He was charging $4.99 a gallon. We are in for a rough ride in this Country. Prices are going crazy, even here. Thank you Sir for all the great videos. Liked, shared. All my very best.
I always enjoy your videos Warren. You're a great mechanic. I thought I'd help with the tach drive on the 50 series engine. The 50 series Deere engine has a crank driven oil pump. The 30 series engine has a cam driven oil pump. The tach drive is run off the oil pump gear on 30 series. 50 series tach drives have an idler gear that runs off the cam. If he really wants a tach order a 50 series tach drive.
About every ford tractor in England/uk, has had a fresh block due to being porous. I was gutted for you with the John Deere engine failure, after all that time of waiting for resolution on that previous engine. I like the story's as you work, you are one hard working guy warren. Kudos to you y/tube time wouldn't be the same with out you.
I worked for IH in the late 70s and we were taught about cavitational erosion - usually it would occur at the top oring on the power thrust side of the sleeve. We would drop the pan and pressurize the water jacket and often you could see a trail of water coming down the sleeve. In my region (Dallas) our service manager made the call that all Farmall tractor with 300/400 series engine had the coolant filter from production. If maintained, the fillter address the cav erosion until the sleeve wore out from use. Enjoy your videos, you are one of the best I have seen and I have known some top techs. Keep up the good work.
Warren if you had started tearing the new engine to bits to check and re-torque everything and then the engine fails then John Deere would of washed their hands of any fault on their part, I've seen it so many times with things that have been done on cars and Van's and they bring them to me and I say take it back to whoever supplied and fitted it because if I fuck about with it they will wash their hands with it saying a third party has touched it. But the best thing you have got in your favour you have it all documented on video and not just the edited bit what we see on here you have everything you did so if anything is said you can send them the footage. Talking about fuel prices over her in the UK we have to pay on average of £1.24.9p per Litre of diesel which is $1.74 in US money so for a gallon we pay £6.24 which is $8.75 a gallon in US money.
Sometime in the 90's I had a manifold to pan assembled reman BBC 427 truck gas engine that arrived at our shop on a nice shipping pallet - all shiny new GMC blue paint. Oh so pretty. But with one head, the head bolts hadn't been torqued down. Only ran the bolts down maybe 20 lbs-ft, probably forgot to torque them to final torque.....Blew the gasket less than 2 hours after the customer picked up his truck. The hot leaking combustion gasses burnt channels in the cast iron of the block and head between two cylinders. The block and head were scrap. Good job.....nice paint though.....
I have been watching you for the past couple of months, I watch all your new videos and lots of your old ones. I'm a small engine mechanic in Michigan. I just wanted to let you know that you do a Super great job of filming. Just one more comment I don't know what you charge for your labor and travel time, BUT your not charging enough. Keep up the good work. Ron B Marcellus Mi
Our mechanic that comes and helps us with our equipment from time to time told me “if you ain’t screwing stuff up you ain’t working” we’re all human we all make mistakes and anyone that says they don’t obviously doesn’t do any work.
Oh and don’t let things get under your skin, no one can say your not an above average mechanic!, and just remember shit happens, a few late nights will get you back ahead of a couple problems like this, the ONLY thing that matters, is your customers know you treated them first., both mechanically, and financially, in six months two or three grand will not matter much, but two customers that pay, will always matter.. keep your head held high...
16:40, integrity is great and so is pride in your workmanship.24:30, I know in Edmonton we run our daily drivers with block heaters, did you guys do that in the winter time back there?
Even in southern Wyoming I got asked a few times if my car was electric when people saw my block heater chord hanging out the grill of my car....admittedly it was the middle of summer.....
If your Deere dealer is as good as you say then it’s their job to go to bat with corporate for you. On the old small block Fords with pressed in studs a good old machinist would pin them which was cheaper for customers that couldn’t afford or didn’t need screw in studs. The machinist would drill a hole through the side of the stud pedestal through the stud and out the other side. He would then hammer a hardened pin through it to prevent the studs from pulling out. It was much cheaper than machining the pedestal down and threading it for screw in studs. The studs would pull out even if you did a stock rebuild. I’ve done a few of them myself.
That’s OK, I don’t get the memos one some “engineer” changes the rules in the middle of the game. If it gets looser one way that’s the way I go. If I’m wrong I just re-tap it or MacGyver it. I just keep moving forward.
Warren, what ever you do, do not open up the front engine cover on that reman Deere engine unless they send out a mechanic to observe and see their paint on the cover bolts. When then start talkin about turning the turbo housing you gotta know they're looking for an reason to bail out on that POS.
Oh, Warren- I can hear the frustration in your voice. Clocking a turbo to mate up a Charge pipe is questionable practice now? If you *_did_* open covers & check, finding the cam gear loose- they'd (JD) would just call you a liar anyway. What horrendous Customer Service. Corporate bullies. If I were the Owner I'd get a Lawyer and suit them. The whole bill must be approaching the cost of a complete tractor, when all are factored in; your time, Owner's down time, etc.
In the shop I managed we stopped with reman engines. We had alot problems with poor workmanship. When you rebuild the engine you know what you have done is right👍👍
Get Deere to open the front of the engine with you and your GoPro present. Would love to see what the rebuild error is on this engine. There is a theme across CZcams farming channels that involve Deere engines, a lot of which seem to like mixing oil with coolant. Cheers Warren!
I been watching you for a very very long time your the first person too say i messed up the funny thing is most of us wouldn't even realized you messed up thats a great quality too have .
I've seen guys drop their tailgate on their pickup and with any luck its about the same height as the bed. Unbolt it and drive the pickup out. Not everyone has access to a crane or a forklift ya know. DT466 is a love hate relationship with alot of folks. The last one I worked on was an oily bastard with a bunch of random problems. They are also quite underpowered and could definitely use to be turned up. Nice work Warren. Always enjoy your videos buddy. Be safe and take care sir!
Seen a 12v71 get dropped off a forktruck once, Stuck it in an R35 Terex and was the best engine ever at that plant. Musta stressed relieved it! Looked kinda funny layin over on it's side.....
They claim. The remanufacturing division of Deere & Company, John Deere Reman. SPRINGFIELD Missouri John Deere Reman began in Springfield 1998 as a joint venture with Springfield Remanufacturing Corp. Became wholly owned by Deere in 2009.
I have seen cavitation on the coolant side of big industrial stationary engines (Cat 3516, Waukesha 7042) if the additives in the oil get depleted. Fortunately we can replace liners if needed.
I know I will catch some shit but I love the DT466 engine. We had a lot of them in our fleet for the State of California and they always came to work in the mornings. Since John Deere is watching the videos can you please answer a question for me? How many engineers watched that video and couldn’t determine he re clocked a turbo? You guys are F’ing bright.
I liked the IH DT's too - all the earlier mechanical pump versions were rock solid. And easy to work on. I could make 10-12 hours on an in-frame on any of those.
Last I knew the reman facility is in Springfield Missouri. I toured it probably 10 years ago. Part of what I don’t understand about the 9620T engine is, at the reman plant they dynoed every engine that left. Don’t know why it didn’t blow up there
@@westerntruckandtractorrepa1353 yes I noticed that, not knocking your work just saying that they must of quit doing that, or they paint them after they run them
Well Warren, one thing I can tell you is, it seems like when it rains it pours, you get one mistake then it seems like shits piling up on you from every direction, not only the money it costs to fix an error, and do what ever it takes to make your customer feel you treated them fair., your not going to find out what happened to the deer engine until it’s torn down, and torque values checked, machine work measured. But in the mean time you and deer have a good customer getting screwed at neither of your faults., nothing you did hurt that engine, especially in ten minutes of run time., and you would know better than me, but any time I’ve seen one get out of time , I’ve never seen valves strong enough to break the bolts holding the cam down, I’ve just seen bent valves, and internal damage, that engine clean smashed it self apart., deer needs to get someone out to your shop like right now., and the two of you need to open it up, using a torque wrench on any critical item, also noting green paint on nuts and bolts to verify they have not been opened yet or messed with., I’m going to bet the machine shop rebuilding these deer engines are not rebuilding to the book tolerances, they are rebuilding with the “it will make it through warranty” “we hope” policy... and a through inspection with measurements will prove this., you and I both know how guys return “core” engines., so most of the core parts they get back are not rebuildable if they were going off the book., right now the customer needs a running engine.. hopefully deer is wealthy enough to get out a new engine, dyno test it, and get it to you., then from that point you and deer agree to find the problem, and he who is at fault eats the cost of what deer pays to remanufacture an engine...
Thanks for the video Warren, slowly catching up three videos worth, just as well you've caught the Deere motor on camera plus thousands of viewers who saw what happened if anyone tried to blame you.
I'm wondering if the cam gear was supposed to have a key way and it got pushed out or not put in at all. I'm glad your happy with the new camera it looks and sounds great👍
@@LegionFOOD Yes, many engines have the same design. The gear to cam fitment is a self-locking taper. Like a ball joint or tie rod end, or a Morse Taper drill.
Oh John Deere is not playing, how many turbo do we adjust to get them perfect in line for air,oil in out,and that has nothing to do with a camb nut, thank for your videos.
Had a six gas engine I was rebuilding. Sent heads and block to shop. Engine had a burnt exhaust vale. So only needed block surfaced and heads. Had valve seats done. When got it back from shop, was still grit in the head bolt holes and got the wrong heads back. What a pain, so know what you are talking about.
Sorry I had to chuckle about the studs pulling out of the small block Ford almost all the early Ford racers had that happen at least it didn't happen as shifted at 7 grand on the drag strip
If they won't warranty their fuck up on the 9620 because you reclocked the turbo that's a violation of the Magnusson-Moss Act that basically says a dealership cannot void a warranty for a modification that did not contribute to the failure
Very familiar with pressed in rocker arm studs on the gas engines. Anything over a stock cam should be either drilled and pinned or machine the boss down, tap and tread for screw in rocker arm studs. Only way I could keep 'em from coming back... BTW: still enjoying the merch I got from you !
Here in sask canada we are paying 5.84 per gallon ,how Are prices where you are Warren?....,as you said times are going to get tough . We havent seen anything yet .shit will hit the fan before we know it.
Why have so many manufacturing facilities left the USA for China, Mexico, or other 3rd-World places? In the corporate world, most things are done or supplied by the lowest bidder. Some manager's bonus depends on it. A common saying among infantry members is "Everything your life depends on is supplied by the lowest bidder."
My old Mack had water in the oil so I had the engine rebuilt. Got it back and still had the problem. Turned out to be the oil cooler was mixing water with the oil. Engine was due for an overhaul so not a major mistake but I wish I would have had the cooler rebuilt along with the engine.
Warren, What needs to happen here is yourself and a Deere rep need to pull the front off the 9620 and video it to see what they did wrong. You know it wasn't your doing they are just looking for a scapegoat.
Don't leave that crane hook like that !!!!! Sooner or later, somebody, somewhere is gonna get a massive headache... or worse. It's sometimes hard to follow safety rules when you are working alone though.
New to the channel, found you in the comments of millennial farmer, he has a john deere down, and they are talking put in a reman. If you see this, maybe you could give that fella some advice, he lives in mid western minnesota. God bless.
You should see autocar cabover garbage trucks. They have a square cut out of the radiator just below the center and they run a FEPTO shaft through there. It's a pain to pull one.
I can hear it now. "Cam gear bolt came loose due to excessive use of impact guns during engine install. All fasteners required to be installed with hand tools, warranty void" joking aside, those are good guys at that pape shop.
Integrity. One of the measurements of character. You have it. Unfortunately, it isn't something that the New Culture considers a virtue. The results of the demise of Integrity can be seen in every interaction we have, from the government to the neighbors we have in our communities. Small town America still considers it critical, as Dad used to say when you look a man in the eye and shake his hand sealing an agreement between you, you have given him your word, and your word is more of contract than any piece of paper. We still teach our kids, (in my case, grandkids) the measurements of character, but this concept is not only becoming rare, it is being intentionally destroyed. I fear for our future.
Wish you were closer to MS I got 3 Deere 6076 engines to rebuild, 1 cat 3406c, 1 Komatsu (Cummins) engine and 1 Deere engine in a 670 road grader to rebuild.
I was looking at vehicle a few years ago & the customer had a £26,000 MAN engine delivered from MAN for another one of their vehicles. It fell off the engine stand & landed on the crank pulley. It broke the sump & bent the crank. They swapped the old sump with the damaged one & fitted it anyway. When it wouldn't run, they tried to blame MAN for the engine not running. That repair cost them £8,500. Before you ask, the reason it done so much damage when they dropped it on the floor is because MAN engines are made of cheese.
I love Internationals and the mechanical DT466. What did it for me was the Fleetstar 2070A with the gas V6 at a sanitation depot near my house. Damn thing had as much attitude as a straight piped Cummins in an Autocar. And that mess with the reman JD engine pissed me off. But now you know. Don't trust anybody else's work.
Your impressions of the "meatheads" are just pure gold. Thank you Warren

Warren, what ever you do, do not open up the front engine cover on that reman Deere engine unless they send out a mechanic to observe and see their paint on the cover bolts. When then start talkin about turning the turbo housing you gotta know they're looking for an reason to bail out on that POS.
R63285 is the John Deere part number to keep the mechanical tach drive. It looks just like the one you took off but it has another gear.
Oh, Warren-
I can hear the frustration in your voice. Clocking a turbo to mate
up a Charge pipe is questionable practice now?
If you *_did_* open covers & check, finding the cam gear loose-
they'd (JD) would just call you a liar anyway.
What horrendous Customer Service. Corporate bullies.
If I were the Owner I'd get a Lawyer and suit them.
The whole bill must be approaching the cost of a complete tractor,
when all are factored in; your time, Owner's down time, etc.
I hope they are not trying to blame you for that engine fail ... you still have plenty of work going on 👍👍👍👍
Men like this built America
I been watching you for a very very long time your the first person too say i messed up the funny thing is most of us wouldn't even realized you messed up thats a great quality too have .
Hey Warren, thanks for sharing your videos and insight. I enjoy watching you fix things.
Hay mate we in New Zealand are paying over $2 a litre and you guys pay $3 a gallon I agree it doesn’t make any sense.
Warren I was glad to see that your wife is so supportive your a lucky guy
We're almost out of gas in Georgia people are fighting at the pumps for it.
Your, OK No Worry We , Will Know In Time....Thank You, Warren
I've seen guys drop their tailgate on their pickup and with any luck its about the same height as the bed. Unbolt it and drive the pickup out. Not everyone has access to a crane or a forklift ya know. DT466 is a love hate relationship with alot of folks. The last one I worked on was an oily bastard with a bunch of random problems. They are also quite underpowered and could definitely use to be turned up. Nice work Warren. Always enjoy your videos buddy. Be safe and take care sir!
Memorialize your work, good JOB!
Warren, Bill is a great guy.
New camera is great. Thanks for the update on the John Deere (ouch).
SPRINGFIELD Missouri
John Deere Reman began in Springfield 1998 as a joint venture with Springfield Remanufacturing Corp.
Became wholly owned by Deere in 2009.
The Chinese parts are bad. My brother does transmission work, getting parts and good parts are a thing of the past.
Fantastic sound & video, I enjoyed it,
I have seen cavitation on the coolant side of big industrial stationary engines (Cat 3516, Waukesha 7042) if the additives in the oil get depleted.
Don’t know why it didn’t blow up there
The paint wasn't burnt off the manifold
I'm glad your happy with the new camera it looks and sounds great👍
That 12.5 engine doesn’t have a cam key, the gear is torqued to the cam with bolts only to set timing/gear backlash
@@LegionFOOD Well that's a now a design moronic feature !!
Made in mexico is the problem...
@@LegionFOOD Yes, many engines have the same design. The gear to cam fitment is a self-locking taper. Like a ball joint or tie rod end, or a Morse Taper drill.
@@rl3898 It's not a bad design, I actually prefer it to a key way as long as all of the bolts are torqued.
Someone screwed up at the end of the day as long as you arnt blamed for it in any way Warren.
Sorry I had to chuckle about the studs pulling out of the small block Ford almost all the early Ford racers had that happen at least it didn't happen as shifted at 7 grand on the drag strip
Here in Denmark a gallon of gas cost 7 dollar per gallon and 6 dollars for a gallon of diesel, we pay 50% in income tax and 25% VAT
Gotta pay for those immigrants some how.
If they won't warranty their fuck up on the 9620 because you reclocked the turbo that's a violation of the Magnusson-Moss Act that basically says a dealership cannot void a warranty for a modification that did not contribute to the failure
Not that it should ever come to this but there is always small claims court and a videotape of your work is hard evidence to refute
@@gullreefclub what's the upper limit on small claims court? Looks like a reman 12.5 PowerTech is ~$25,000
@@Romuls753 Sorry for not responding sooner but it depends state to state
Very familiar with pressed in rocker arm studs on the gas engines. Anything over a stock cam should be either drilled and pinned or machine the boss down, tap and tread for screw in rocker arm studs. Only way I could keep 'em from coming back... BTW: still enjoying the merch I got from you !
It sucks when shit goes belly up on a customers job… I feel for ya warren!! I’m sure the good lord will look out for ya…take it one day at a time!!!
Here in sask canada we are paying 5.84 per gallon ,how Are prices where you are Warren?....,as you said times are going to get tough .
We havent seen anything yet .shit will hit the fan before we know it.
Warren you sure have a lot of Knowledge in your head and that comes from all your years of fixing stuff.
Thanks Warren!!!!
Sorry about the Deere. Any good feelings or being proud of yourself for a job well done is zapped and you feel sick. Good job!!
I had a dt 466 with a bad oil cooler that mixed water and oil.
My old Mack had water in the oil so I had the engine rebuilt. Got it back and still had the problem. Turned out to be the oil cooler was mixing water with the oil. Engine was due for an overhaul so not a major mistake but I wish I would have had the cooler rebuilt along with the engine.
Cylinder sleeves were a issue with the ih tractors.
give em hell warren
Warren, What needs to happen here is yourself and a Deere rep need to pull the front off the 9620 and video it to see what they did wrong. You know it wasn't your doing they are just looking for a scapegoat.
Don't leave that crane hook like that !!!!!
Sooner or later, somebody, somewhere is gonna get a massive headache... or worse.
It's sometimes hard to follow safety rules when you are working alone though.
Thanks for sharing partner keep me posted 👍take care now!
New to the channel, found you in the comments of millennial farmer, he has a john deere down, and they are talking put in a reman. If you see this, maybe you could give that fella some advice, he lives in mid western minnesota. God bless.
Thanks for posting Warren.
Pencil pushers at jd need to justify their existence. Hopefully the dealer steps up.
🇬🇦🇸 🇵🇷🇮🇨🇪🇸 are supposed to go up even more bc of the *Mississippi* river fiasco.
You should see autocar cabover garbage trucks. They have a square cut out of the radiator just below the center and they run a FEPTO shaft through there. It's a pain to pull one.
Having watched further I see that they did the same thing here. Pretty odd the things that they do to make things work.
Couldn't of said it better myself.
So, Mother Deere is watching? They should own up to their screwup, all I'm saying.
Well warren it proves they don’t Dyno the engines after a rebuild at JD cause it would have failed on the dyno even without putting it under load
There batting 1000 two engines and two fu.... ups. Keep your head up better days are ahead 👍👍👍😉
I wonder how many DTs are on earth millions apon millions
You wanna work for paccar? Their test site is 4 miles away. I thought I wanted to, but you gotta be related to get a job there.
Wish you were closer to MS I got 3 Deere 6076 engines to rebuild, 1 cat 3406c, 1 Komatsu (Cummins) engine and 1 Deere engine in a 670 road grader to rebuild.
I’m looking at a dump with a dt466 in it. Is it a solid engine or should I avoid it? Everything else being equal of course
Their good engines, just hard to work on being in a international truck.
You should try buying fuel in the UK, if you think your's are expensive lol
That's why we tossed the tea into the harbor,, whooped the crown and sent the brittish packing with their tails tucked.
Its shouldn't cost us nearly as much as it does here in the USA considering we have plenty of our own oil... Its ridiculous...
With Sleepy Joe in charge fuel prices will be on upward curve I suspect.
Ford had problems with them cylinder walls creating holes and letting water in.
Yes,those Ford engines were famous for letting coolant enter the lube oil.The fix was re sleeve the block.
Pakistani Truck rebuild that engine!
Lol..that channel can be fun to watch once and a while.
Find the video they have for them “remanufacturing batteries”
why do people that don't know crap always seem to be the ones in charge of warranty of rebuilds and stuff?
I was looking at vehicle a few years ago & the customer had a £26,000 MAN engine delivered from MAN for another one of their vehicles. It fell off the engine stand & landed on the crank pulley. It broke the sump & bent the crank. They swapped the old sump with the damaged one & fitted it anyway. When it wouldn't run, they tried to blame MAN for the engine not running. That repair cost them £8,500. Before you ask, the reason it done so much damage when they dropped it on the floor is because MAN engines are made of cheese.
Typical of a dealer/ manufacture! Even if they installed it and gave it out they would claim improper break in and abused use!
