- This time another JDM car, the Honda S2000. Regardless of its age, the car has been very well maintained. The owner contacted us to perform a more detailed cleaning.
We started off with thoroughly cleaning the soft top and a decontamination wash of the exterior.
Secondly, we performed a complete interior detail and made sure all the carpets, seats and leather components were clean, dry and protected.
We protected the soft top with a fabric coating and the paint gets a layer of durable wax.

Aren't all seats detachable? They are usually held in by 4 boltsđ€
@@ontec7139yes and most back seats in cars are held in with two bolts and locking clips on the bottom and two to four bolts on the hinge brakes on each for the back.
To release those locking clips you usually push down then away from you towards the trunk then pull up. Thereâs two and there tricky.

Very nicely done! I really enjoyed the change of pace compared to other detailing videos I've viewed. Any additional product details that you could share would be greatly appreciated. In particular I'm interested in those products used for the interior of the car along with the types of detailing brushes used. Finally, if you wouldn't mind, what air compressor setup did you use when detailing the interior, it seemed like a low-flow nozzle of some sort.
Thank you! I used Koch Chemie Po for cleaning the leather seats with a Gyeon leather brush and a Work Stuff (Albino) brush. Same product used for the steering wheel, center console and dashboard with more Work Stuff (Albino) brushes. For cleaning the carpets I used Koch Chemie Mzr with a soft drill brush.
The air compressor setup is nothing special to be honest, the black tip on the nozzle is just a rubber protection thingy so you don't scratch anything when you're not careful. Hope you have the information you where looking for đ Have a nice day!

what continental tires do you have on your S2000? the rims are 0Z? they look great.
I would love to have a S2000, but it's actually a client's car. These rims are indeed OZs and the tires are ContiSportContact 5s.

Thank you Robert! Most of the time the underside is not that dirty so I simply use fabric cleaner, a brush and/or a couple of towels.
If it's just dust on the soft top you can vacuum it gently with a brush attachment. Hope this was helpful to you đ
