This vocalist is Riko Sakurai, who belonged to an idol group called Si☆Stella. bonametal was a copy band formed within Si☆Stella. She was well known for her singing ability and was greatly supported by BABYMETAL fans.
As for me, I don't want anyone but SU-METAL to sing this song. I am narrow-minded😅

There are at least a couple or more BABYMETAL cover bands. Bonametal was one of the first (and one of the better ones) I think. I don't know if they are still about.
Kami can translate as god or spirit, as you know - apparently it can also translate as hair, so here we get the Hair Band (also a play on Hair Metal of course).
I think Bonametal's "Yui and Moa" may have actually been twins for real. I'm sure I have seen videos of the three of them entertaining the queue outside of a BABYMETAL concert with their covers when they were really quite tiny as well and I think I have seen a video of this girl singing for the fans at a BABYMETAL after show party too.

Also, Hair Band is a reference to the hairband. ;)

This is OBVIOUSLY a backing track. The band was not playing this. This was definitely the Kami bands version of the song, note for note. Thsee guys are frauds, they're faking it. BM should sue them.
Okay, calm down, sir. It's just music. Also, if you think this is note for note the same as the original, you're not very familiar with the original. The girl is also singing live, 100% for sure.
It's okay to be a big fan, but being a fanboy, to the point that you refuse to accept anything else, is unhealthy, as is getting yourself this worked up about stuff that doesn't affect you or your daily life whatsoever.
