5:15 that pink guitar is one of the memories (and one of the trivia) of Babymetal. It owns by Mikio Fujioka, a former Babymetal Guitarist who passed away. Ohmura, who played it, promised that the guitar will always be with the band so Mikio will always be with them wherever they go.
Best vocal (for me): No Rain, No Rainbow - Baptism XX live. Really beautiful but emotional performance from Su and always gets me choked up. Although there are so many songs that could be argued as the best vocal performance! The Trilogy of Light songs (Starlight, Shine, Arkadia. In that order and deffo the live versions) are absolutely something to react to!

The Trilogy Of Lights you were talking about is part of their 3rd album Metal Galaxy, and before "Divine Attack" were the last three songs, among fans was took unofficially as a tribute to Mikio Fujioka past away and YuiMetal withdrawal, and yeah i highly recommend you those songs in order: Starlight, Shine and Arkadia, all of them live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, but if you're willing to go for a little bit more look for Shine live at Legend M 2019, that's a really beautiful and unique version. And btw there's a beautiful version with SuMetal singing this song with only the piano behind called Akatsuki Unfinished Version live at Legend 1997, try it but look for "Kitsune Sama" for a widescreen version with subtitles and safe to react. Oh i forgot you got four Black Babymetal songs with only YuiMetal and MoaMetal performing and singing fun songs challenging themselves to rap while leaving a social message. I would recommend that you check out The One-Stairway To Living Legend , Su and Moa are singing in english accompanied only by a piano. It was the last song released before they went on hiatus, it freaked out a lot of fan's because they thought it meant the end of Babymetal

My favorite vocal performance of Suzuka is "Shine" from "Legend M" followed by "No Rain, No Rainbow" from "Legend XX". When it comes to "Akatsuki": The double guitar solo really is next level! Leda and Takayoshi were in top form and delivered an absolutely legendary performance!

Legend-S live version is the best (including the stories behind the performance), but the video is susceptible to getting block. Last year 2021, on Feb.19, Akatsuki became a very special song for BABYMETAL fans in a different way. This song had not been performed for 2 years and 4 months, but they revived it that day on a similar center stage (not rotating but telescopic octagonal). I witnessed it at Budokan, the same legendary arena in this video. Honestly I can not remember clearly what I saw and what I heard because it was too surprising and too mesmerizing due to theatrical production and special performance during the interlude that ignite various emotions in the audience. (Even after I viewed Blu-ray videos released last September) There is one certain thing, however. I felt celestial bliss there, especially with Su's matured richer voice.

Su has so many great vocal performances, my favourite though is Shine from legend M show or legend metal galaxy show, she nails both performances. Shine is the second song in the trilogy of lights, so I would suggest you watch them in order 1. Starlight 2. Shine 3. Arkadia

Akatsuki - Unfinished (pronounced Akat'ski) is another take on this song, to see this from a completely different perspective watch that. It would be between Shine (Legend M) most likely. Maybe. Akatsuki Budokan Black Night, Amore at Wembley, No Rain No Rainbow at Legend S and FDTD at Budokan 2021 10 Babymetal Years are all front runners and could swap in and out at any time, lol. Shine from Legend M will get blocked unless he puts a logo or a blur effect over the video. Definitely recommend it though, it's worth the effort. As for the other two, I recommend Starlight from Dark Night Carnival (interesting look into the 'Dark Side' era) and Arkadia from The Sun Also Rises (Their first show after the 'Dark Side' ended).
My fave would either be this or no rain, no rainbow at the baptism xx concert in hiroshima. That was epic. The black babymetal songs are great, with just yui and moa. And this is my favorite live performance as well.... yes, I know there are better technically mostly because of Su-metal's more mature vocals, but I she already had a great control of the song back then, being just 16. I absolutely love it, plain simple. Being myself a power metal fan and loving the dueling and harmonizing guitar solos also help. 😁 About Su-metal's best works as a vocalist, my top 3 would be "No rain no rainbow", "Shine" and "Akatsuki" (probably not in this order). There is also an "unfinished" acoustic version of "Akatsuki", just Su-metal and a piano. Same lyrics, totally different experience. And a bit of trivia: it's said that Moa and Yui are in the backstage doing school work. Even though they are big stars performing at the famous Budokan, they are still expected to keep up with their studies. Moa's mom said if she didn't keep up with her studies, she wouldn't be allowed to do Babymetal anymore. And Moa's mom is a force to be reckoned with. Even Koba-metal is a little bit afraid of her.

One of my favorite things about Babymetal was when they were touring with Rob Zombie and he got alot of hate for it. Rob clapped back so hard on the haters it was HILLARIOUS. One of the responders called them lame and without a beat Rob responds "They roll harder than you do"
Their unofficial tribute to X Japan, "No Rain, No Rainbow" is probably my favorite song. It is heartfelt (especially in the Baptism XX concert, because it was filmed in Su's hometown of Hiroshima and could be interpreted about the atomic tragedy that took place there, and this concert was Mikio Fujioka's last performance before his tragic passing away.)
The piano is a sample playing on the background. I think props should go to the Kami-band for playing so accurately to the sample. Also my favorite Su-metal voice performances are on Amore live at the UK Wembley. And Syncopation live. You need to react to those songs.

Yes, you should do the Trilogy of Lights, but you should do them as one big chunk preferably. Even if you cut it into three videos, you should react to them on the same day because they have significance to each other. The three songs are Starlight, Shine, and Arkadia. The trilogy represents the past, present and future of Babymetal in that order and have to do with facing adversity and the "you" of the past and being able to excel past who you were and get closer to who you want to be.

Three things about this song 1. I tell ya every time, the english translation will add a layer to this song, this in particular. When you know WHAT shes singing about, it makes it that much more emotional. 2. When I was learning to play it on guitar, i learned there is an official instrumental version of it. Even without Su the song is INCREDIBLE. 3. Opinions vary, but it is widely believed this song is Su's strongest vocal performance, across all shows. Theres a few nuggets out there like No Rain No Rainbow from Baptism XX, but this one is the juggernaut. Yes there are songs without Su. Yui and Moa (and after Yui left, solo Moa for a few shows) are a subunit called Black Babymetal. Su has so many great vocal performances, my favourite though is Shine from legend M show or legend metal galaxy show, she nails both performances. Shine is the second song in the trilogy of lights, so I would suggest you watch them in order 1. Starlight 2. Shine 3. Arkadia

No Rain No Rainbow is my favorite vocal performance; she melts your heart. Akatsuki - Unfinished (pronounced Akat'ski) is another take on this song, to see this from a completely different perspective watch that. Trilogy of Light is good too, but No Rain No Rainbow from Legend S is Su's standout performance

Great reaction! This song, Shine from Legend M and From Dusk Til Dawn all sit at Number 1 on my all time favorite list. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite Su-metal vocal performance. It would be between Shine (Legend M) most likely. Maybe. Akatsuki Budokan Black Night, Amore at Wembley, No Rain No Rainbow at Legend S and FDTD at Budokan 2021 10 Babymetal Years are all front runners and could swap in and out at any time, lol. Personaly I would like a Black Babymetal song "Sis. Anger" next. As for best Su's vocals I really think "Akatsuki", "Amore" and "Shine" (2nd song in Trilogy of Lights) are in my opinion, her best performances

The Trilogy of Lights! It's Starlight, Shine and Arkadia. You HAVE to do the 'Legend M' version of Shine or I quit 🤣 it's my favorite ever performance by MoaMetal and I promise you will love it. If you want a song without Su, there are 4 songs performed by 'Black Babymetal' which is just Yui and Moa, all of them are great! Su solos, there are 4 as well. Besides that, there are other versions of this song that you're going to have to react to! So much still to experience!

Shine from Legend M will get blocked unless he puts a logo or a blur effect over the video. Definitely recommend it though, it's worth the effort.
As for the other two, I recommend Starlight from Dark Night Carnival (interesting look into the 'Dark Side' era) and Arkadia from The Sun Also Rises (Their first show after the 'Dark Side' ended).

I can't speak for others, but "Akatsuki" is my all time favorite song. And this is my favorite live performance as well.... yes, I know there are better technically mostly because of Su-metal's more mature vocals, but I she already had a great control of the song back then, being just 16. I absolutely love it, plain simple. Being myself a power metal fan and loving the dueling and harmonizing guitar solos also help. 😁
About Su-metal's best works as a vocalist, my top 3 would be "No rain no rainbow", "Shine" and "Akatsuki" (probably not in this order). There is also an "unfinished" acoustic version of "Akatsuki", just Su-metal and a piano. Same lyrics, totally different experience. My favorite Su-metal vocal performance is still No Rain No Rainbow. I'm a sucker for ballads.
And a bit of trivia: it's said that Moa and Yui are in the backstage doing school work. Even though they are big stars performing at the famous Budokan, they are still expected to keep up with their studies. Moa's mom said if she didn't keep up with her studies, she wouldn't be allowed to do Babymetal anymore. And Moa's mom is a force to be reckoned with. Even Koba-metal is a little bit afraid of her.
I don't think they do their homework during a show, but I've heard they did do homework backstage at a festival in the west (US, Canada or Europe).
@@autohmae Probably not every show. But I know they are used to doing homework whenever they have a free minute. They'd been doing it for years in SG. School tests and exams don't stop just because they are doing a concert.

One of my favorite things about Babymetal was when they were touring with Rob Zombie and he got alot of hate for it. Rob clapped back so hard on the haters it was HILLARIOUS. One of the responders called them lame and without a beat Rob responds "They roll harder than you do"

Yup, one of the first things that struck me 6 or 7 years ago was Suzuka's vocals, and she's just gotten better and better over the years - JOY! 😊
Their unofficial tribute to X Japan, "No Rain, No Rainbow" is probably my favorite song. It is heartfelt (especially in the Baptism XX concert, because it was filmed in Su's hometown of Hiroshima and could be interpreted about the atomic tragedy that took place there, and this concert was Mikio Fujioka's last performance before his tragic passing away.)
The piano is a sample playing on the background. I think props should go to the Kami-band for playing so accurately to the sample. Also my favorite Su-metal voice performances are on Amore live at the UK Wembley. And Syncopation live. You need to react to those songs.

Yes, you should do the Trilogy of Lights, but you should do them as one big chunk preferably. Even if you cut it into three videos, you should react to them on the same day because they have significance to each other. The three songs are Starlight, Shine, and Arkadia. The trilogy represents the past, present and future of Babymetal in that order and have to do with facing adversity and the "you" of the past and being able to excel past who you were and get closer to who you want to be.

1. I tell ya every time, the english translation will add a layer to this song, this in particular. When you know WHAT shes singing about, it makes it that much more emotional.
2. When I was learning to play it on guitar, i learned there is an official instrumental version of it. Even without Su the song is INCREDIBLE.
3. Opinions vary, but it is widely believed this song is Su's strongest vocal performance, across all shows. Theres a few nuggets out there like No Rain No Rainbow from Baptism XX, but this one is the juggernaut.
