      @Ken S. he can be chill but he can be super intense too. More so when he was younger. He has become more chill over the years and I honestly I think it can be observed in his playing. He has become more mature and nuanced in his phrasing and a little less over the top. I really like where his playing has gone...and it keeps getting better!

      I love his playing he is an inspiration to me....as he's also from my neck of the woods ...I couldn't ask for a more talented guitarist than rusty to represent Texas...I seen him at the dream theater concert this past April Houston...Revention center..me and my brother wanted to approach him for an autograph or pic but we got too shy lol....he's too cool of a dude😎

      @Bread& Butter lol chords help your lead, not just understanding interactions by scalar chords. Any musician would rip someone a part who didn't understand progressions have a large vocabulary of chords, inversions etc. You'd play for 4-5 min and run out of ideas. So yeah, any good guitarists cares about chords just as much as single note soloing.
