I have felt, since the “New Trio”. Album came out, that it would be great to hear this trio cover some of those fine compositions. I slightly prefer this trio overall, and somewhat prefer the tunes on the New Trio album. Either way cant go wrong, both bands and both albums are terrific, though thats coming from someone who thinks Corea is the best piano trio musician ever.
