Everybody sees the trophies and success that follows it but nobody sees the grind, dedication, perseverance and sacrifice it takes. Tennis is an individual sports not a group event. That's why I reckon it as a toughest sport. Novak Djokovic is the guy who has lost 11 grandslam finals, these losses itself is one of the greatest achievement, he lost most of them to the crowd and less to the opponent who got into his skin, he was naive, young, learning, but in disguise it was shaping Novak Djokovic to become a mental giant.
I tried to follow Djokovic's routine: gave up gluten, gave up alcohol, gave up meat, started sleeping on time and waking up early, gave up electronic devices, started mediation, mountain climbing, ice bath etc. etc, It lasted for a week, my motivation wasn't as high as of Djokovic's, all I wanted was a healthy and energetic body as I am sportsperson myself. I wonder how many other tennis players try to follow Novak's routine, this guy is doing this same routine again and again for more than a decade, it's surreal and extraordinary.
Djokovic is legend.
Just amazing I was a fan from day 1, so lucky to be able to still watch him play and make history

No, this make us realize how poor Djokovic coverage by tennis media has compared to others, theres tons of better points that some showed here by unoficial channels, he has showed amazing tennis on Masters, theres a reason the guy has at least 2 in every one

Double Sunshine, Cincinnati and Canada are locked up for Novak. Shanghai is under question because of covid in China. Three years without Shanghai Masters and Novak had quite a success there! He is at 38 Masters, at least 7 more would be great, I would like to reach 50! Who would top that!!??

I think Novak is outspokenly joyous and happy because he’s coming from the biggest disparity of war torn impoverished Serbia…….to the highest acme of success as arguably the greatest tennis player ever? You’d be much proud also considering the distance of the road he left behind to get where he now is, if you were him? I get his loud outbursts! I get it! Ripping his shirt off! I get it! I understand and empathize with Novak and am very proud of his success and share his joy. Nadal and Federer come from much more comfortable upbringings with successful families that financed their tennis stardom. And you can’t fault them. You can’t hate someone born into money. They couldn’t help it. But my point is just this: When you’re at the top like Novak, you remember where you come from! And you fight much harder to stay there because you’ve come from such a low point in life……a low point that Federer and Nadal cant ever know…….thereby they’re not no where as happy as Novak after a grand slam win. Nadal and Federer were happy after a grand slam win. But Novak was very much happier because he knows he’s come from a harder path. The pros and cons of life. There is a good side to humble beginnings………it’s that you’ll appreciate success much more than those who haven’t come as far.

Despite the ugly controversy over his father's political stance, Djoko was about to win his 22nd grand slam title. And he did it again. Tsitsi was no real match for him, though he must've done his best ever. Djoko is the Goat, plain and simple.
First of all, it was NOT a stance, Djokovic and his father clarified already that it was an incident where his father was taking pictures with a ton of fans, a crowd full of Serbians and Russians in the Melbourne garden; and if you actually watch the video, his father was WALKING behind the group of Russians who were holding flags with Putin's face in them (just a reminder that the area of the garden where these fans gathered was poorly lit plus if someone put any face in a russian flag it would resemble a serbian flag, and a ton Serbian put NOVAK's face in their flag during AO, so someone who's trying to take pictures left and right wouldn't really take a second to look to everything that was going on with the fans' attires or whatever...
Second, what was said WAS SEVERELY MISTRANSLATED by a BRITISH JOURNALIST who by the way DELETED and RETRACTED his posts and tweet after being corrected.. A BRITISH JOURNALIST for fck sake is spreading misinformation. GO FIGURE
