      You guys are unbelievable, federer fanbase supported every single player he faced and said Berirtini will beat him, tsitsipas , domnic theim(amazing player one of my fav) Zeverve the list just goes on and when he beat emm then you come crying like this. Djokovic dominated the most competitive era of tennis . Its not his fault Federer is not there anymore or what happened to andy murry and all also keep in mind nadal is only a year older than Novak .
      Also in this us open its not his fault tsitsipas and other player got eliminated in earlier stage . He did beat zeverve in Cincinnati if it helps you somehow.

      Him not playing in Australia is all on him. If you're going to place blame, place it where it belongs. He didn't want to get vaccinated during a global pandemic that killed millions. There were bound to be sanctions for that. Even he has owned up on it being on him. So yeah

We all choose to do things we want and sometimes you have to do things you don’t want.     I really miss Shanghai masters, that was one big level tournament where every player found support from the crowd. Spectators loved the good tennis and didn't had any predetermined notion about players from different regions.

    The fact that at the age of 36, Novak is beating the next best thing in tennis Carlos Alcaraz (at the age of 20) is simply remarkable and a testament to how he’s the greatest of all time.
    Not to mention the countless records he has to his name.

    It's also time to remember how great Murray was. He was just unlucky to play alongside Big3 his entire career. In any other era, be it past, present or a future, he is double digit grand slam winner and ATP #1 for a few years.

      Agreed. Wawrinka and Del Porto had their moments but Murray was the one who could hang with the Big 3 the most and for the longest. But when he eventually wrestled the No. 1 spot away from the others in 2016 his body basically then gave up after the insane effort it took.

      Del Potro was arguably even more talented player then Murray and for sure then Vavrinka, but he ended his career due to many injuries. He should never be ignored. @@samwarrilow2881

      It is because of his upbringing. He didn't grew up priviledged like Federer or Nadal. And grew up on war-torn Serbia. His family had to give up everything for him to pursue tennis.

    2011 Djokovic was the best baseline player of all time but his serve was his one flaw. It's amazing how he improved in that department. His serve is deadly now.

      His serve is still not perfect, in particular his first serve %. However, he has a serve that’s reliable and good when it needs to be. It isn’t as good as some say though…it’s just decent.

      I wouldn't say it was a flaw... In 2010 yes because Todd Martin ruined his serve motion and Novak was hitting a lot of DFs, but from 2011 on these issues were gone.

    Great video! Also worth mentioning - Basel 2009, where he recovered from a 6:7, 4:5, 0:40 deficit against Stepanek as well as Doha 2017 where he saved 5 match points against Verdasco to win both matches and the tournaments, beating Federer and Murray in the finals respectively!

      That's why I don't bother engaging anybody who says "he's winning slams now in a weak field". Well yeah, I do admit the playing field is weak but when it was at its strongest he was beating everyone to bits, I mean he demolished Nadal in 6 finals including on clay, this was Nadal coming off winning 3 grandslam the previous year.

    Just noticed the point he won vs Alcaraz at 6-6 in the tiebreak in set 2 was similar to the set point that Medvedev in set 2 of the USO final. They had a choice to pass doen the line nut chose cross court and in both cases Djokovic guessed right and won the point.

      Yea. Big 3 was an illusion. Federer didn’t win all that much in the Djokovic era. Nadal rose in April and went back to sleep Mid June.

    What's noticeable when you watch old clips of the big 3 is how much quicker and athletic they were like 10 years ago. They didn't have that in their latter years but still found ways to win. With Novak he got bulkier.

      I don't think this is true at all. Djokovic is 36 now, it's not like his athleticism dropped much at all, maybe a tiny bit bulkier and slower but I don't think it's noticeable.

      Novak has been doing extra Strength Conditioning work, that’s why you say he looks Bulkier……In essence Novak has just increased his upper body Muscle Mass, and it not only looks better on him, but more importantly, he has more power as a result!

    Murray had the potential to become Novak's contemporary and biggest rival after 2016 when he became the world no.1. If he didnt catch the injury the next year Andy v Novak might have been one of the greatest rivalries alongside Rafa-Roger and Rafa-Novak in this golden era.

    I wish they included Novak's match with Korda in Adelaide (2023). That was a showstopper as well. I remember my palms were sweating so much and I could barely keep my eyes on the TV screen :) That was a final to remember
