Thank you. Great video and great information. Can you tell me what phone mount you use? I don't remember you mentioning in other videos but I may have missed it. Also, what phone app are you using for all of your trip info (when you show your phone in the video)? Hope you are enjoying Montana.
Thank you so much. The phone mount is the Expedition Essentials 3TPAM with a RAM mount phone holder. I would get a MagSafe charging type if I could do it again. For maps I use a mix of OnX Offroad and Gaia. I like them both for different reasons but they are both great.
I had no idea Tacomas had such horrendous MPG. That's V8 full size truck MPG.

Just got my Ultimate9 in the mail yesterday and installed it today based on your info in this video and the sponsored one on Instagram. I am looking forward to seeing how it performs for me. What Eco mode level did you have yours set at for these trips?
That is so awesome. You’re gonna love it. I use Eco 9. I tried the use 1 and the truck would barely go. I have used eco 1 while Off-roading on wet river rocks to avoid tire spin. Worked amazingly.

Hmm I wonder how that would do with a manual transmission.. auto guys always complain about overheating, gear hunting etc so I assume this would only work for us manuals if in one gear at cruise control
Side note: when did the Taco get 35s? Must've missed that one.. what all did you do to fit them besides the cab mount relocate?
