Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Ned had a slight exhibitionism as well as humiliation kink due to how brazen he's been with his cheating
we can confirm he has that kind of kinks bc his entire life is a humiliation, maybe he even likes it🥱
i mean your aren't wrong but damn this comment deserves so many likes this literally was way too good i had to comment
Literally what I came to comment, it’s like the guy was turned on about the thought of being caught
I thought that too when the car came into question
Honestly no one can convince me he wasn't trying to get caught
Ariel didn’t deserve all of this and I hope her and the kids will be ok. Can’t imagine going to school after your “Wife Guy” dad got outed for cheating with his coworker
That's another big thing that the Ned defenders seem to forget is that it didn't just affect him like "Oopsie" it affects his wife and kids and their lives. He was just selfish and thought nothing bad would happen
its gonna be miserable for the kids. i had a friend growing up whos dad was part of a prostitution bust that had been going down under the cover of a zumba studio- her dad was published by name in the local paper on the leaked list of "clients" and she struggled with it SO MUCH. i can only imagine how the magnitude of this situation is and will continue to be affecting them
Thankfully the kids are young enough that this will be OLD news by the time their peers are vicious enough to use it against them.
frankly, i think the kids are still too young (for now) to really understand the ramifications of their dad's actions, but the parents who see them dropping and picking their kid up from school? ariel really does not deserve that at all TT
Why is everyone talking about the cheating aspect but not the part about how they were "doing it" in a car with CHILDEN and families walking by 🤢 That's so creepy, this man has kids of his own, why would he want them to see that?
Right like… wtf. So gross.
Zach "not getting" sarcasm is totally valid. That's why tone indicators exist. Not everyone can distinguish sarcasm versus sincerity, and it's unfair to expect that everyone can spot sarcasm.
Agreed! Especially people on the spectrum tend to struggle with it (adhd/autism spectrum)
I think him not getting it is fine, i dont love that his joke was about bullying someone for their looks. But i think its a forgivable mistake.
Zach is stupid to promote someone bullying Dream though.
Also let's not pretend ppl don't hide their real views behind sarcasm and jokes sometimes
Not only that dream has a history of making racist and antisemitic comments so joking about something like that when less than two months ago information came out that he had made those comments is not it
Ariel was not having sex in no damn car. That was all Alex and Ned lmao
especially when they’re married and have a house lmao no chance it was ariel in that car ahaha
Ariels an angel...she couldn't possibly ever be skanky enough to do it in a car.....(sarcasm)
They didn't overreact AT ALL! WHY should ANYONE be given a free pass to screw with so many people's lives involved? They're both at fault here but he was the boss. He was the husband. He is the father. He was the co-owner.
Plus they'd definitely be opening themselves up to a lawsuit by firing Alex considering the power imbalance and potential wrongful termination.
@@hopelessromantic3786 Did they actually fire her, or she just left?
Nobody really knows yet, but I'm assuming she left. They might have offered her a deal in case she left, such as severance/settlement, since she probably wouldn't want to keep working there with everyone knowing. And a settlement world keep them more legally protected than firing her.
Alex? Is that you? LOL!!!
Gonna be honest with you, Zach is probably closer to my age and when i read that tweet by dream, theres no way i would be able to distinguish the sarcasm because of how many people seriously talk like that online. Like people are out here really speaking like that and being genuine 😭
Same, I saw that and read no sarcasm at all. Makes me feel old lol
Shit I'm 25 and I couldn't read the sarcasm
@@kameyoedwards88 fellow 25 year old here, i feel the same
I’m only 24, and I didn’t read it as sarcastic either 😂 I thought Dream was siding with Kanye 😂
I did think it looked a little too on the nose to be real, but honestly this is why the /s should be more included as a tone indicator. I can see how it could so easily be misunderstood. I should use it more myself.
honestly i haven't even watched the video yet and i am just over here thinking how does this situation get any worse than it already is
Oh it’s a plot twist
Oh Ned loves bad ideas.
The car?! Can’t they just rent a hotel room like normal people cheating on their wives 🙄
Ig he's cheap like that
especially a millionaire
Probably didn't want to leave a paper trail. They might also share joint accounts/ access to credit card statements 🤷♀️
I think it’s the taboo that’s the whole point for them 🫣
I was about to say the same thing like really? In a car at their big age? Get a room.
I would’ve read that tweet and taken it seriously. I’m autistic. Sarcasm and joking is never obvious. This is why tone markers are important. Tone does not convey clearly in text, and even in spoken conversation many people can struggle to recognize the difference between someone being sarcastic or joking and being serious. It’s not obvious and we should never assume it’s obvious.
Yeah people do sometimes use that amount of emojis and aren't being sarcastic
And also using the context that dream was a trumper i would not read it as sarcastic even if i wasnt autistic
Very true. I had made a concerned (for one’s well being) comment to a co-worker once. There had been a couple guys that had flipped on their boards/bikes and then slid to a halt using their faces. He had a similar mark on his left side. He didn’t register my comment as a concern, but thought I was making fun of him. When I had apologized and explained my thought process for the comment he was cool. Then let me know he was autistic. I always kept that in mind from there on. I tend to be quick with my comebacks or joking also, working as a bartender, a cook and then a butcher tends aid in snappy comebacks. I have completely blindsided people before😅 regardless of how hard I try to think first….
Especially when you don’t know the person. Usually, I kinda rely on emojis to interpret messages on social media. However, the overuse of emojis like that throw me through a loop! I usually just try to assume it’s a joke. Just thinking that every message is hateful or mean just adds more stress and more vulnerable to episodes (I have Schizo affective disorder, among other things). I used to do that, and it made me more miserable. Plus, I feel like assuming it’s a joke usually avoids confrontation. I always like to give others the benefit of the doubt as well. :)
Poe’s Law is a thing for a reason. Regardless of neurodivergence, conveying tone through text is really finicky sometimes.
How could it possibly get any worse!?!? I did NOT Have "Try Guy's Scandal Worsens" on my 2022 Bingo Card

I left these guys behind when we all left buzzfeed behind like 8 years ago. I thought everyone else had too lol
IMO, Zach is the most sensitive of the Try Guys, always has been, and I love him for it. But that also would mean that he's been so stressed about being his own self and keeping himself quiet to lessen drama and negativity, so I think he didn't even register that it was even POSSIBLY sarcasm from dream and since he can't rant and scream to defend himself and his friends, his filter glitched and he jumped to defend the people that "ye" is being a bully to. And I don't blame him. Stress makes you do some weird shite, man.
also, Zach is Jewish. It’s just must have hit so close to home and after having his world crash down by one of his best friends, he’s bound to be more sensitive. Even a joke is only a joke if the people at the butt of it find it funny..
Plus, text has no tone. Not knowing who dream is, I wouldn't have read that as sarcasm either.
Also Dream has been known to say some racist things, then backpedal and say it's a joke or that he just didn't know what he said was wrong... so Zach was completely in the right for calling him out
In defense of Zack with the dream thing. Some people have a hard time understanding tone, especially in tweets. that’s why tone indicators really help. I understand not getting the sarcasm and I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with dream ‘Stan’s’. They take parasocial to a whole new level.
So I’m autistic and I SUCK at picking up on sarcasm and the problem is 1000x worse when it’s over text and I don’t know the person. If you hadn’t said dream was being sarcastic, I wouldn’t know. Tbh I still don’t. I’m just taking your word for it (ignoring the fact that dream said he was lol)
Yeah same like I'd read about this before and this video is when I learned he was being sarcastic. Whoops
Yeah I would not have known Dream was being sarcastic 💀
Eh I would have. Usually people don't use emojis when being serious and I typically don't assume anything but sarcasm.
Yeah im confused how it was obvious? And also not everyone is the best at picking up on sarcasm. Especially over the internet. Im not sure how text can be that "obvious" as being sarcastic. Theres no tone to go off of, and very easily misunderstood.
@@ravenoctober9936 yeah it’s definitely something I’ve always struggled with and honestly I’m so confused by people who actually understand it
@@Izzylovesdinos yeah ill be honest i didnt understand it was sarcasm. So I'd hardly consider it obvious since alot of people didnt seem to understand that.
especially as a jewish person when there are so many dog whistles it’s hard to tell what’s real/jokes when theres so much gaslighting
Yeah, SNL made it sound like Ned kissed someone who worked at a different company. The Try Guy’s response is extremely over the top for that. BUT!
Ned was her HR manager! He was her boss, she was his employee. She and many other people employees could sue the 2nd try until they don’t exist.
One of Ned’s friends from Yale is a writer for SNL. He actually mentioned it once in a TryPod.
@@ddmg10 yes, actually! He is apparently credited on this skit. Allegedly, the person who portrays Eugene is also Ned’s friend. All in all, very poor showing in Ned here. This looks so bad and makes ridiculing the try guess make even less sense.
they did nothing illegal. if others did sue then these others would have to provide proof of special advantages, etc that they didn't get or w/e the f they are being crybabies about. the only person harmed by all this was ariel, ned's wife.
@@bunnyfluffyfluffs staff could sue if they have proof Alex got special treatment over them because they chose not to sleep with their bosses. Alex could sue if she felt Ned held her job over her for s*x and for retaliation if they let her go solely for the scandal.
From what I’ve heard from the rest of the staff no one is being a cry baby. It’s just their lawyers don’t want to leave the door open just cuz everyone *says* they won’t sue (which I believe they wouldn’t. They understand that the 2nd Try didn’t function like that so wouldn’t feel overlooked)
Will (Alex’s fiancé) and Ned’s kids are also harmed by all this. Though, Ariel is harmed the most now that she knows Ned slept with Alex in their car.
@@Shadow1Yaz stop being so dramatic.
The #NedFlags were flying high... Hindsight is 20/20. It's almost like he was begging to get caught.
And with this hashtag you are funnier than the SNl skit.
Zach said in the podcast that when he saw Dream’s tweet all of the stress and frustration over the past few months reached a boiling point and he just as he put it “broke” and snapped at someone he COULD snap at, he admitted he jumped the gun, he tweeted it right before getting to his mom’s house had to hug her, and then go deal with the drama. When Miles joked that he’d been submitting articles about the ned drama to get the blue check mark, Zach said “be careful, if I️ was just some guy that said that no one would have cared.” I️ can’t blame him honestly, with everything the guys have been put through I️ can understand taking a sarcastic comment as an attack simply because you’re stuck in defense mode.
Yeah I side with Zach on the whole Dream misunderstanding...yeah call me a boomer but a lot of us 35- 45-year-olds just don't understand emoji sarcasm. besides the smiley face and the angry face, I have no idea what the majority of the emogies stand for.
He's not in that age range and why not just,, ask dream if he's serious first? People with big following should really think before they tweet.
As a 21 year old I’m just starting to get the hang of it lol
You know half the internet is going to be googling their significant others' license plate numbers now 😂
Zach ( also being jewish) is probably a bit sensitive with all going on (grr angry fist wave at ned) he was happy to be wrong. Sometimes we can take things wrong when its just txt.
I still remember someone talked about one of the podcast where Keith or Zach complimented their SO but Ned was talking negatively about Ariel about her personality at home. Like he could've said "but then Ariel is good at this or that" but nope it was straight up negativity and it hurt Ariel so much.
I hate when people get mad at others for not understanding sarcasm. I’m really bad at indicating tones and that’s even harder when it’s through text. Not everyone is great at detecting sarcasm for various reasons. It’s worse when you’re supposed to know a stranger’s version of sarcasm because everyone depicts sarcasm differently. I can understand my close friends and family’s sarcasm, but strangers??? I have a much harder time with.
fr same Im also super gullible when someone says something I tend to believe it right off the bat without any questions asked
Tbh “Bully racists. But make sure they’re actually being racist.” is a great takeaway and they’re right
*A series of emojis that are also used for many other things isn't an appropriate way to convey sarcasm in a situation where it's important that people catch your sarcasm. Surprised I need to say that!*
I get why Zach didn't think that Dream was joking, or that even if he was joking that he was joking with Kanye rather than making fun of him. Especially given how physically and emotionally exhausted he must be. Having a large, massively influential creator seemingly condone Kanye would set me off in his situation as well and as someone that also struggles to pick up on sarcasm over text I also didn't initially get that Dream was joking. I'm not saying that it makes it okay or that I think Zach should make a habit of impulse tweeting when he's upset, but his mistake was understandable. And honestly, dream's tweet was in poor taste and was a really bad joke, if you can even call it that.
I’m pretty sure they did it in the car…probably because Ned has a joint account with his wife and she probably suspect unknown transaction about the hotel rooms that aren’t work related or unknown vacation trips. Alex lived with her fiancé at that time so….yeah. They probably could do it privately if it was work related and hotels were provided…but still…
Alex is gross too. She was gonna get married and instead decided to sleep with her boss. I would never do that to someone I really loved. Guess he dodged a bullet tho 🤷🏽♀️
She also literally admitted to cheating on people prior so..
@@phirerising have you seen her telling a story about how she tried to convince a man with a pregnant girlfriend waiting on him to stay out and drink with her more? I would’ve come down there and hurt her if I was the pregnant girlfriend.
tbh I use emojis like that unsarcastically so I can’t agree that it’s obvious
Tbh it took me a second to realize Dream was being sarcastic. Also, with a platform of his size, there will inevitably be fans that don’t realize he’s kidding and are either hurt or encouraged by it. Glad it got cleared up and Zach apologized.
As someone with autism, missing the sarcasm is something I do often.
I always thought it was very weird that Ned showed up with Alex, but at the time I didn’t say anything (because I didn’t want to start shit in their comments section) but I honestly thought it was definitely weird…
I commented this on another tea channel, but you can literally get a sex offender charge for that.
Dude i was just remembering the videos where Markie dressed up as a circus guy and mad scientist.. classic Markie content
Let’s hope she gives her kids her maiden name cuz oof when they get older and ppl find out who there dad is …
Will people really harrass neds kids over this in 5 years Time? That is embarassing
@@callmebyurname77 You think in 5years kids aren't gonna google ppl they know?
Poor Ariel, I can’t imagine her pain same as the guys
Edit: there’s no way I’d think dream was being sarcastic. Especially since he has done racist stuff in the past
Your channel is my fav for talking about this drama. You’re such a chill dude, fair and real 😊
Zach is Jewish, the guy has been watching Ye shit-post anti-semitic bile and watched people eating it up. Especially with how his life has been atm you cannot blame him for having his guard up and getting pissed when someone so big is joining in, joke or not. I feel so sorry for him with the Dream situation, the poor dudes had so much thrown at him and is doing his best to stay afloat.
Ned is creepy I remember being shocked when I found out he had a wife.. the voice alone is enough to make your skin crawl.
duuuuuuude holy shit, hearing you mention dream here feels like living in a simulation. dream is like a 12 layer iceberg visual of drama and lore, and it's honestly kinda hard to comprehend the reality that he's on a similarly large enough scale to be interacting with the try guys 💀 i know of him through speedrunning and i usually watch your channel for 8 passengers stuff so this is a dank ass crossover and kanye west showing up feels like a fever dream LMAO
I know from experience, the only thing worse than your husband cheating on you is everyone knowing about it. I really feel for Ariel and I hope she gets a huge contract for a TV talk show or something.
Maybe it's the fact that I'm ND, but I didn't pick up sarcasm in Dream's tweet 🤷🏼♀
I watched that mansion video a few days after the scandal dropped and knew something fishy was happening before the two of them arrived
Yeah, unfortunately emojis don't seem to be enough to communicate when someone is joking around or sarcastic. (I've been yelled at when people misread my tone before, despite my habit of using emojis as a tone indicator.)
So what I learned today is that bullying is allowed now, just so long as you think you are justified and righteous in doing so. Yep, makes perfect sense. Wouldn't want to rise above and be a better person or anything.
I'm fully convinced that Ned has some kind of sick control/power kink where he knows he had a risk of getting caught, which makes this even more despicable. What a sad excuse for a human being. And this comes from a long time Try Guys fan. Good riddance!
Tbh I think Alex has an infedelity kink. She's cheated before, while in serious relationships.
Ned knows one of the writers from SNL.
Zach also admits that he did jumped the gun because of all the stress from the Ned stuff.
Honestly when I first saw Dream’s tweet I didn’t get that it was sarcastic at first. Idk if it’s cause I didn’t register the emojis right away (my brain will either only see them or not process them for a hot second lol) or because I’m autistic or because it’s hard to tell tone/intention trough text or what exactly but personally I can see how he misread the tweet/intention of it!
guess snl can eat their words on just a “consensual kiss” lol.
Ned was way wrong to go behind her back and not communicate with her!
I literally rewatched your vids on this earlier... guess I know why now. let's go markie
Lmao fr
Internet sleuths working overtime!
I didn't get that Dream was being sarcastic until you explained that..The emojis can be misinterpreted as strong feelings, not sarcasm.
I saw a Ned video before yours but I’m glad I also watched yours. you took it a step further in the analyzing part of it which is helpful when you’re talking about things either just assumed.
It's not all that easy to catch sarcasm through text i love when people use /s but im on the spectrum aswell so even face to face it can be hard for me and if its a r/woosh i tell people that i dont understand the joke
The internet detectives are blowing my mind! 🤣🤣
This story keeps getting wilder and wilder. Its almost like he was trying to get caught!! What was he even thinking
Don’t think he was thinking
I think he just snapped with the dream thing. Dudes been under an immense amount of pressure and feels like he can't say certain things or respond to certain things and he just snapped.
I don't get emojis either. I mean I know what a few of them are code for, but i don't get most of them and i don't understand a lot of the combinations people use. There's really only a few i use myself. I think having autism I don't really recognize facial expressions or understand what they mean most of the time so I'm just screwed to start with. Honestly if I could express everything in numbers and be understood I probably would.
The sex in the car thing like… people speculating whether or not it was Alex as if it matters. It’s a crime that can get both participants on the sex offender registry. Ned is Gross lmfao
The whole dream thing was just weird, I never watched his content I have to assume was being sarcastic? What caught me off guard was how much he looks like my boyfriend from high school in like a really unsettling way (it was an abusive relationship so I think that’s why I had that neck hairs raised reaction). I feel like the majority of content creators that share fans all of a similar age should know that his “stans” are absolutely ruthless and downright mean, but maybe he didn’t know that about Dreams fan base bc if you did why poke the bear ya know?
Text based statements don't always show sarcasm well especially when you are consuming other media right before. Some can catch it if they are used to the person's humor but if not then it's hard to tell.
I just laughed at the description by Markie cause basically the one who turned out to look like the love child of Zac Efron and Tom Holland is not Dream but Foolish. Lolllll 😂😂😂
was literally just looking to see if you had posted an update of this and saw u hadnt D: reloaded youtube n here it is¬¬!!!
They SNL thing gets worse bc a long time ago Ned had mentioned on one of their videos in the past, b4 this incident, that he has a friend who helps write for SNL. Which explains why they basically took Ned's side.
that's genuinely shocking about the car
Hi, Cullum! Your videos make me smile 😃
I think Zach going at Dream was just a mistake and makes sense since he himself is Jewish and the thought of a huge creator like Dream supporting Kanye's views would be awful. Sometimes you can misread text, I do it all the time and it was just an honest mistake.
To be fair, I'm VERY literal and struggle with understanding sarcasm. I really have to think and use brain power when talking to people. I can understand how Dream's comment could be misinterpreted 🤷♀️
Dream just looks like a bunch of other streamers. I don't understand the hate
HOLY SH!T the timing in May!
I'm not really surprised if he is found "doing it" in public with Alex.
Zack is not a perfect person in that dream situation but atleast he owns to it in a way.
but i am glad ned is gone watching the videos they put out with ned edited out
and i don't miss him in them so they are going to be fine
i feel but i feel for them and they have every right to feel a way about all this,
but they have not really overly talked about it,
there are just people who don't get why anyone is mad sadly,
and that is life some people just don't get it.
I'm terminally online, and to be fair, i'm used to the worse from youtubers, i didn't see the sarcasm either.
One of Ned's Yale buddies was a writer on that SNL skirt.
Narcissist for sure. Several non-consensual sex fetishes; cheating, cheating in public in so many different ways, non-consensual public sex (those outside the car did NOT agree to it). I don't think he's into humiliation or wanted to get caught, he's a narcissist he's cool so of course it's OK & he won't get caught!
To be fair I didn't read it as clearly sarcastic either lol maybe I need to study up on emoji usage.
SNL just came off really out of touch with the try guys skit. However, since Ned has friends who are writers on SNL, it’s honestly not that surprising they’d minimize the situation and side with him over the others.
People need to cut the rest of the guys some slack. They have a full team of lawyers instructing them on what to say and when to say it.
What’s his wife’s problem exactly that she just accepts this continual behavior?? She’s quite good looking and well-educated I’ve heard but I can’t wrap my head around this situation.
Maybe because they’re already have a kid and they’re together for a very long time and his wife is just happy to be with him?
Divorce is a big change and might makes everyone’s life worse instead
Well I mean considering that his friend cheated on his wife for over a year (doing very little to hide it) and he didn't know, I'm not surprised he missed a little sarcasm.
You forgot to mention that one of Ned’s besties was on the writing team for the skit 😊
"I lost focus guyz 😩 family should be my priority wawah 😫😖😭" if you look at your spouse in the eye and later go fork your employee, you never had any focus at all
Holy shit. Being famous is scary af these days
Ariel staying makes me so sad. This woman gave up so much for her family and still got betrayed and brainwashed into thinking leaving would make her a bad person. She is a badass and her sons deserve a happy mom. Teaching them cheating on your wife is ''just how guys are'' isnt good for them...Come on Ariel, do better
Shut up. If you don’t know the situation, you should say shit
Agree!!!
leave her out of this. it is her decision. she does not have to "do better".
It's not just that though. It's the financial aspects, the dispute in court about visitation times and custody of the children between the parents, who does the house go to, who gets this or that. Divorces are long and messy processes, and she could be trying to fin the best alternative or option for right now. She isn't teaching her children that "that's how guys are" she's trying to find the best option for her and her children. You're not in the situation so you can't say what's best for her or for her to "do better"
Omg that is so rude. I just finalized a custody arrangement that took over a year to complete! She can have self-respect as a mom and a person, but not IMMEDIATELY take action.
With the dream situation anyone who is saying that it is obvious sarcasm is not taking into account invisible disabilities. There are quite a few disabilities where understanding sarcasm in both written and spoken form, is hard to do. I am Not attacking anyone, I am just pointing this out.
the reason why they couldn’t say much or as much as they want is probably because of legal reason since i bet they’re still dealing about it behind the scene and i doubt it’s already solve
Wow it just gets worse and worse 🤦🏼♀️ how do you constantly publicly cheat on your wife as a known person and not expect to get caught? Or maybe he just doesn’t care and knows his wife will probably stay like it seems she might do
I wouldn't have completely caught the sarcasm either. But then again I take things that people say too seriously/literally. Especially over the internet and not knowing Dream, it wouldn't have been obvious to others. Not knowing whether he was joking would have really bothered me.
lov you Markie

Honestly we all read something the wrong way sometimes. It’s just that Zach has a larger following than most people. It’s not like anyone notices when I’m being an idiot and missing the joke, but people will when he does.
Maybe it's my autism but I didn't pick up on the fact that Dream was being sarcastic either tbh 😭😂
I never trusted the dude. I know I’m not the only one
The SNL skit was written by one of Ned's friends.
I would like to add there is a video of Ned yelling at Zach for deleting a video because maggie and Ariel we’re both getting a lot of hate and ned got mad and yelled at Zach saying he was just being dramatic and babying maggie and that Ariel was getting more hate so it was fine why wouldn’t he want the video down if his wife was being hated on so badly?
I would like to know if the homewrecker involved is going to be fired, she should be knowing Ned is married with children and worse supposed to be friends which is disgusting!
I did not realize it was sarcasm till you said so lol.
This whole situation is being blown up out of control 😒........!!! Have a great day!! 💛💛🍁🍂🎃
